things i want in minecraft
an update focusing on just, adding animals into minecraft. like give us elephants that we can ride on or bears that live in forests or literally just a savanna-exclusive mob or two how do we not have any tf?
more food. im tired of having barely any food options in the game. theyre either 1) meat 2) fruit and veggie 3) soup and 4) baked good you dont even bake. minecrafts food selection sucks. does adding more food add more "gameplay"? no. but i dont care. also i cannot believe we do not have cooked eggs.
a weather update. like give us hail, sandstorms, wind, cloudy weather that isnt exclusive to dry biomes. weather that doesnt affect the entire world would be nice. so would seasons but that might be askin too much.
traps and hidden things. levers that look like torches. trapdoors that are also carpets. there was this one minecraft knockoff i played when i was little that has "grass traps" which were the tops of grass blocks that looked almost indistinguishable from grass blocks but if you stepped over them theyd disappear. also that game had retractable spikes so add that too.
if we aint adding seasons, give us maple trees that have permanent red leaves. we already have pink cherry trees so red maple trees that have leaves falling from the trees. maybe even add maple syrup.
this kinda goes with the food update but make it so cherry trees drop cherries and that apples drop from like, apple trees rather than oaks? like that makes no sense.
also add cheese. another food update thing but i think we should have access to cheese.
add like, overworld volcanism. a volcano biome, volcanic islands. maybe even a special rift valley biome inspired by the west african rift valley. it could he a rare variant of the savanna biome to.
hot springs. basically if a lava block is below a block with water above it it heats up the water and surrounding water and makes them all warm, bubbly, and healing. goes well with the volcanism.
saunas would also be cool. like you craft a sauna heater from a furnace like youd do with a smoker or blast furnace, fill it up with water and fuel, and then it makes the air around it filled with steam and heal you. the steam dissipates tho so you wanna build a room thats enclosed enough for the sauna to work.
redstone wires. you craft them with redstone and copper and can use them to take a redstone signal up a wall. they are a bit more limited tho (cannot become a threeway connection like dust can)
