Planning a #NewYear party? Try our recipe for #EspressoMartini! INGREDIENTS 200g ice cubes or enough to fill a cocktail shaker 25ml espresso coffee 50ml vodka 25ml coffee liqueur 25ml sugar syrup 3 coffee beans TO SERVE a chilled cocktail glass INSTRUCTIONS Make the espresso coffee in the OXO Cold Brew Coffee Maker following the manufacturer’s instructions. This needs to be started at least 12 hours ahead or overnight. We suggest using a full packet of espresso ground coffee as it can then be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and used as an ingredient in recipes and hot and cold drinks. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes and pour in the espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur and sugar syrup. Shake vigorously until a frost appears on the outside of the shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Leave to settle for a few seconds until the frothy layer rises to the top of the glass, then decorate with coffee beans. Tip: if using a different coffee maker, let the coffee cool after brewing.

A festive family favourite... Make #Christmas Punch! INGREDIENTS 2 oranges, sliced 2 limes, sliced 4 litres cranberry juice 500ml orange juice with bits 1 litre cloudy lemonade TO SERVE Ice INSTRUCTIONS Add the sliced orange and lime to the drinks dispenser. Pour in the remaining ingredients, adding a quantity of each in turn so they mix well. Add ice and chill until needed. Tip: This punch is best served cold; making ice cubes with punch rather than water will stop the drink from diluting.

Our Peppermint Creams make perfect home-made #Christmas gifts! INGREDIENTS 1 egg white ½ lemon, juice only 1 tsp Peppermint Extract 425g icing sugar, plus extra for dusting 175g dark chocolate INSTRUCTIONS Whisk the egg white until stiff peaks are formed. Slowly whisk in the lemon juice, Peppermint Extract and icing sugar until a stiff paste is achieved. Tip the mixture onto a work surface liberally dusted with icing sugar. Roll out thinly. Use a small round cutter to shape the creams, then place them onto a baking tray and chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours, or until they have set. Melt the chocolate in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water (do not let the base of the bowl touch the water). Dip each peppermint cream into the chocolate until half covered and set aside on a baking tray. Chill until set.
