Moving to One Blog!

I originally kept my writing and other stuff separate because I didn’t really understand tumblr at that point but I’ve put it all together into my main one called MyManifestedDaddyIssues. See you there lovelies!

Guess I’m just going through some shit. I haven’t posted in forever but I wrote this tonight. Maybe someone out there can relate.

Melting

It was warm and beautiful. The flame when it was lit

It brought the candle light when the world couldn’t have been darker

That loving flame

What a beautiful flame it was

Was

They would all look in envy at the candle and the flame

At how it started, How bright it burned

The first flame the candle ever had

And the very first candle for this flame

Years the flame and candle burned

It endured winds that tried to extinguish it

Years the flame and candle burned

And it kept burning strong

Until candle began to melt past the view of the rim

Others still saw its light seep through the sandy glass

They assumed the flame must still be just as bright

Just as beautiful

Just as perfect as the very first day

How could it not be, when it burned as bright as it did

But inside, the candle was melting

It grew smaller

And smaller

And soon the candle realized it was being used

Used by this very flame that brought it to life

It was melting

And the flame was no longer warm and comforting. It was small and distant

Melting it’s life away, serving the flame that brought it to life

No matter if the candle wanted it or not

It was too late

The wick was lit

And by the law and two rings wrapped in guilt

No one was to put it out

The flame no longer told the candle it was beautiful

It did not appreciate her sacrifice

It burned her closer and closer to nothingness

She tried to make herself beautiful for the flame

But the flame did not even glance her way

She cared for the flame, hoping to brighten it once more

But it did no good

The regret was overwhelming

The dreams she traded in for the warmth of this flame

Would never be hers

Never

She was so sure when they were first lit that this life would be worth it

So sure that the warmth would comfort her forever

And here she was

In tears of wax

She tried to tell the flame what it was doing to her

That she was melting

Melting

But the flame just watched

Silently for a lifetime

For a lifetime she served and she suffered

Unloved and unwanted

As those on the outside told her she was lucky to have such a flame

Her lifetime passed

Until the candle was gone

Only a mere shell of wax and shattered dreams remained on the glass

And she was silent

Because I just woke up and don't have a smarter question, I was wondering how you first fell into the wormhole that is the Hiddles Fandom?

Oh my, I don’t remember the exact moment but let’s spin a tale...

I was not initially into the Marvel movies.  I think the first movie I saw in theaters was Captain America Civil War.  I was initially into Captain America (still love me some Steve).  And I then, as I am wont to do, I became enamored with the tall, dark and smart guy.  Aka Loki.  So I have the tendency to go all in when I get interested in something.  So naturally, I read everything I could find about Loki and Tom. And I watched his films and interviews.  And I was so enamored.  So I came to Tumblr, partially to consume Tom fanfiction and Loki fanfiction and lo and behold I started writing it.  Never thought I would be here.  But I love it!!!

I didn't realise the 'tall, dark and handsome with a dash of deliciously wicked and completely misunderstood' was my type when the first Thor movie came out. That was my first MCU movie in the theatre and I was 12. (A baby, basically). But I clearly remember associating Loki with Scar from Lion King (my first introduction to Shakespeare and little did I know that this would become recurring). And I remember being absolutely appalled at the Hulk Smash scene and having a fit about how cruel that was. Six years later I had been unceremoniously dragged into the fandom by my father who is the kind of nerd that collects comics and doesn't open them from their vacuum seals. It was a slow and gradual process and it happened when he realised that DC wasn't quite my taste.

But interestingly, I turned into a Hiddlestoner only two years ago. I have always loved Loki, but there was this one year when I was doing Science for graduation and I was miserable as hell. I used to have so much work that I'd stay awake till about 4 am to finish compiling files and studying, having to wake at 6 am for the day. And I started listening to MCU press junkets during those nights which then turned to listening to Hiddleston talk because I'm a sucker for good vocabulary, correct grammar and an English wit. It was his conversation with Zach Levi at Nerd HQ where he said that line about having two lives and beginning the second when you realise you have only one that made me say, "you know what? Fuck this." And I dropped out of my B.Sc and enrolled myself as a Lit. Major at one of the world's finest places.

(I also was so relieved that I got in that I saved 2K bucks to send him what essentially is fanmail but a letter from me saying thank you!😂)

I used to be super conscious about telling it. People generally think I'm insane, and don't understand how I can adore Tom but not sexually and why I think of him as a role model. But then I realised that one man who doesn't know I exist helped me through just a drastic life changing decision, and it's amazing. Why keep it hidden how people can affect you without ever knowing you? It's one of the reasons I love Tumblr. People change my life here every day!

I totally get it.  I may talk of thirst for this man but it is just talk.  I am very happy in my life.  But inspiration comes in all forms and who are we to judge the course of that inspiration?

I ran into Loki the same way, never super into Marvel till I really saw him and I melted. I had never really figured out my “type” till then.

But by this point I was already married to someone very much the opposite of Loki. I’d compare him more to Captain America in personality and how he looks. When I really think about it, it’s probably good I got him before I went down this rabbit hole. He’s stable- and if I’d been chasing the Loki-like men of this world who knows what I could have gone through 😂

Hey! Thanks for the request, like honestly u make me feel so special. At this point idk if I’m comfortable with writing Tom, I’ve never done it before and like idk it feels weird to write about a real person. I’m a new blog, and I probably should have put that I’m not writing about real people at this point in the description- I’ll add it now. Zero judgement tho- I love Tom, and I know there’s plenty of amazing writers that would do your fic idea way better than I would at this point. Haia! I’ve been working on this one, and I’ve been crazy busy but it is coming along. I thought I’d give a little snippet from what I’ve got so far :3

The next morning you woke to the smell of bacon and pancakes. As the smell woke you, the memories of the day before jolted you out of bed. Your legs dragged you into the kitchen, as you wiped the sleep from your eyes. You rounded the corner and there he was. He stood over the stove, messing with the meal in the pan with a spatula. He had his dark hair tied back, and he was just in his loose boxers, that was all. You found yourself staring at his lean and muscular form when he looked up at you warmly. He’d clearly seen you staring where you shouldn’t be, and he raised his eyebrows at you with a grin. “Well good morning to you too, darling.”

You immediately forced your eyes away, shaking the sense back into your head. The blush rising in your cheeks was obvious. It had to be. “Good morning.” You mumbled and took a deep, shaky breath. Your legs carried you to a seat at the bar. You’d only met this man yesterday, but here he was, waking up in your home and making you breakfast like some kind of romantic comedy movie star. After watching him for a moment, you forced yourself to speak. “Why aren’t you wearing clothes Loki?”

He gave you a playful glance. “Ah. My apologies darling. As this was a common occurrence in our relationship, I didn’t think of your possible discomfort.” With a snap of his fingers, he was dressed in plain black and grey clothes, looking back at the stove.

You watched him cook for a moment. That was a flat out lie. If you’d figured anything out about this guy, it was that he thought everything through…

You were hyper aware of the fact that his stare was on you, his eyes on the back of your head, making your cheeks heat up. You pointedly continued doing what you were doing, though. You nodded along to whatever Thor was saying (you had stopped listening about two minutes ago). Fandral laughed loudly then, followed by Volstagg and Sif, and you forced yourself to chuckle as well, praying you looked believable. You didn’t feel bad about your lack of concentration towards the story at hand. It wasn’t your fault that Loki was burning holes in your head. That every time he did that, it made your heartbeat skip like it was running a marathon. 

He just had that effect on you. And he definitely knew.

RATED M One-Shot of Loki x Reader. When you get home from work in one of the worst blizzards you’ve ever dealt with, you find you have forgotten your house key and your phone is dead. You try to wait for the next bus, but it seems you are out of luck- until Loki finds you alone on your porch...

The frigid night air whipped through your hair as you looked out from under the awning of the bus stop. It had been a long day at work, and you were beyond ready to curl up in bed with a warm cup of tea and a book. But the weather seemed to be mockingly keeping that from you. You’d seen it on the news earlier, the blizzard scheduled to overwhelm NYC. Now you found yourself wishing you’d taken it more seriously. You’d been in a rush this morning, and had thrown on one of your thinner pairs of slacks that the cold seemed to go through as if they were nylons.

The bus finally arrived but hopping inside provided only a little relief from the cold, which was quite unsatisfying. The thoughts of your warm bed, blankets, and lovely gas fireplace tugged at your mind once more. You had scored an amazingly well paying job in the city and thus you could afford a very small house on Staten Island. Things were going well, excluding the chill that refused to leave your skin at the moment.

Luckily your house was only a few houses down from the nearest stop. Stepping down and out the bus’s door was awful. The cold and wind pushed through your clothes as the snow pelted your face and hands. You lowered your head and made your way to your front door as fast as your frigid legs would allow.

At last… You thought of your fireplace and you couldn’t wait another moment. Your numb hand shoved into your jacket pocket in search of your keys. Your heart jumped to your throat. You always kept your house keys in this pocket. Frantic, you search the rest of your clothing- your purse, your pants, everywhere. All empty.

You let out a groan and push your forehead against your front door. Fuck. What the hell were you going to do now? A locksmith was probably your best hope, hopefully, you could look one up that would be open at this hour. As the snow and wind continued to chill you to the bone, you pulled out your phone and unlocked it. The blank screen taunted you, remaining dark and unmoving. Now, you said it out loud. “Fuck!”

With a dead phone, no way in, and no relationship with your neighbors, what else were you to do? You were shivering hard now, the snow sticking to your hair and coat. The next bus wouldn’t come around for another half hour. You’d have to wait…

You leaned your back against the door and lowered yourself down. For a moment, you allowed yourself to open your jacket in order to wrap it around your legs. The cold rushed in and refused to let go, even after you buttoned yourself back in.

With your arms wrapped around your legs, curled up into the smallest ball you could be, you waited. The snow was so thick and the wind was violent, you could hardly see the street across your small front yard. Soon, your face became too cold as well, and you tucked your head down between your knees. 

You stayed this way for a long time. The snow only seemed to bite harder at your skin with time, and the wind was keen on pelting it hard enough to go straight through your clothes. 

The cold was painful at this point, and time seemed to be going extremely slow. Had the bus come? You glanced up now and then to check for those shining headlights, but with how painful it was to remove your face from the warmth of your knees, you didn’t check as often as you should have.

You were beyond numb in your arms and legs now, and the gusts of wind shoved into your ears so aggressively, you almost didn’t hear the voice.

“What in Valhalla are you doing out here, mortal?”

You gathered the strength to lift your head, and saw the figure of a man. With how difficult that action was, you realized you were far too cold... dangerously cold. 

“Did you hear me?” The man knelt, and you then were able to see him under your dim porch light. He was dressed in a black suit and had jet black hair to match that blew in the breeze. His appearance was a bit shocking in itself but more astonishing than that was the fact that seemed completely unaffected by the cold and wind that was piercing your every pore.

His brow furrowed at your lack of response. “Why are you outside? How long have you been here?” He spoke louder this time, and placed a hand on your face, tilting your chin up. This jolted you into a response. Your voice shook and stuttered out every word. “I’m locked out... and my phone…” You turned your head to the side as another devastating gust of wind pushed against you. Then you turned your head back to the man, his green eyes looking over you. “…my phone is dead. I’m waiting for… for the bus.”

He took your fingers into his own as if inspecting them. You couldn’t feel a thing.

He stood, looking at the door you leaned against. “This is your home?”

You nodded weakly, tucking your head back into your knees, craving to have feeling back in your nose and cheeks. You were so cold and weak at this point that answering at the volume needed was difficult.

As you began to think of what an idiot you were for not just sucking it up and asking a neighbor for help, you heard a snapping sound and your back began to fall back into the now open doorway. Even as the warmth of your home reached out to you, you couldn’t find the strength to get yourself to it. How long have I been outside?

Then as you realized the man had actually managed to open the door, you felt yourself being lifted. He was carrying you like a child in his arms, not struggling in the slightest. You felt your soft couch below you as he set you down.

The warmth stung as it began to melt away your icy skin. You just closed your eyes, still shivering violently. Then you felt those strong hands again. He was removing your coat. Should I be worried right now? He was indeed a stranger that managed to break in and walked into your home. But at this point that was the least of your worries. You just needed to be warm. Now. And as strange as this man was, he was helping you with that.

He finally spoke up. “Your extremities may be damaged from the cold. At this point, I am not sure. But you need to remove those clothes. They are soaked through and partially frozen.” You now notice he has an accent, but you can’t immediately place where it’s from.

You feel yourself nod, but the strength to overcome your shivering to stand up doesn’t come, no matter how hard you will it to.

You manage to open your eyes, to see the man now kneeling in front of your curled, shaken form. He had turned on the fireplace that was behind him, and the sight of it seemed to warm your mind. He spoke softly, his voice like velvet. “Do you need help? I can if you wish, and I promise no harm will come to you.”

You nod.

“Where is your closet darling?”

You point to a door towards the end of the living room. He stands and walks with urgency, but somehow manages to be simultaneously calming. When he returns, he found a large t-shirt, some sweatpants, some plain underwear and a pair of socks.

“Alright, I’m going to remove your wet clothes. Just stay calm.” If anything was calming, it was that voice. Something about it just seemed to slow everything down.

In an instant, you felt completely naked, your wet skin contacting the warm air around you. You closed your eyes at the relief of the feeling and then felt him sliding up your sweatpants and underwear at the same time. You push upwards to make the task easier for him, though it seemed to take all of your strength to do so. After you felt the soft fabric set in its place, the shirt was pulled over your head, and the socks pushed onto your feet. After a moment of silence, you also feel him wrapping your soaking hair in a kitchen towel, and laying it away from your head. He also picked up the plush throw blanket that had been strewn over the side of the couch, and he lied it over you.

The relief was beautiful. You were dry, and slowly your strength was returning and your shivering dwindling. The warmth was slowly pulling itself through your veins, and it felt amazing. You heard yourself let out a sigh, but then also the sound of kitchen cabinets opening and closing filled your ears. You were now so comfortable and exhausted that it didn’t matter.

In a moment, the man was in front of you again, with a cup of tea in his hand. He held it down to you. Once he was sure you had the strength to sip it, he sat on the chair that was slightly in front of the couch. After several minutes of the fireplace crackle being the only sound to fill the room as you warmed up, he spoke. “What is your name, little one?”

You took another long sip of tea and felt the warmth fall down into your abdomen, and it seemed to spread from there, reaching out for your skin. “(Y/N),” you replied with much more strength in your voice compared to the first time he’d heard it.

“Well, (Y/N), you do know you are mortal? And that you cannot stand such cold temperatures for such a long time? And that you were quite close to frostbite? That much longer out there could have left you crippled or dead?” His voice was not concerned, it was more sarcastic. 

Mortal? He said that word as if he wasn’t. And time… What time was it? How long had you been out there…

You turned your head to the clock on the wall. It’s 10:30?! God you were such an idiot, you could have frozen to death out there all from being too socially awkward to ask for help. 

“Yes, I know. I didn’t have anyone or anything to help me except the bus or a neighbor that I’ve never even spoken to...I should have just sucked it up and walked over there. I’m so stupid...” At the end of your statement, you’d began to mumble, rubbing your head into your hands. 

He let out a short breath of a chuckle. “Well, that I can agree with.”

Now that you had some strength back, you noticed how shockingly attractive the man in front of you was. His hair slightly curled from the damp snow, his gorgeous green eyes, and that jawline... But something about him was familiar. 

“Do...do I know you? I just feel like I’ve seen you before,” you asked tentatively. 

“You likely recognize me from your television. I was on the Midguardian news quite a bit in months past.”

Then it hit you. You hadn’t lost anyone in that attack, luckily. But the sting and fear of seeing those things out your building window was terrifying.

“You...” As you were about to gather the strength to stand and slap the man across the face, you stopped. He saved you. He cared for you and made you tea. He was gentle and kind. You were now almost completely fine from what you could tell, and without him... who knows what would have happened. 

He watched the realization dawn on you and waited patiently for your response. He seemed to analyze your every expression and take in every movement. 

“You saved me. Why? You wanted us dead when you did that... Why help me?”

“I am not heartless, (Y/N). And beyond that, the actions you saw of me that day were not of my doing.”

You wished he would elaborate, but he didn’t. They weren't his doing? Could you even believe him?

It was then that he stood to leave. 

“Wait...”

He turned and looked back at you, a look that made you catch your breath a bit. 

“Loki. It is Loki... right?”

He nodded once, turning to face you with his hands in his jacket pockets. 

“You saved me. I still don’t really get why, but you did. Would you like something to drink? Some tea maybe? It’s still awful out there. Like, you could get frostbite or something...” God, did you sound desperate? It sure felt like it after that mess fell out of your mouth.

You thought you saw a sliver of a smile creep onto his face. “I do not get frostbite darling. I am no mortal man.”

Why was that sentence so sexy? What is the matter with me...

“I mean, it’s still cold out and I owe you one. Come on, I feel so much better and it’s because of you, let me repay you.” Jesus! What am I doing?! Questions bombarded your mind. Why did you even want him to stay? You knew who he was and what he did. More than that, why was this conversation so sexual in your mind? Was it in his? And for christ's sake, you just about froze to death tonight and now here you are looking at this man and wanting him to take you as his own...

His grin seemed to grow as he watched you for a moment. How could an expression say so much so easily? It was as if he had I know you want to fuck me written across his forehead. 

“Alright love, you win. I’ll stay for some tea.” He walked into the kitchen and leaned his back against the counter, crossing his legs, his hands still relaxed in his pockets.

You stood up off the couch for the first time that night, and your legs felt stiff but grateful for the movement. You stretched out, closing your eyes and arching your back as your arms reached out for the corners of the room.  When you opened your eyes, you saw his own move from your arched chest back to your face, his half-grin still present. That was intentional. It had to be. He would definitely not let you see anything he didn’t want you to see. 

Then the thought occurred to you that he’d already seen you naked. What if he didn’t like what he saw? What if he did...

He watched you as you walked into the kitchen and started heating up some more water. The only sound was the humming of the microwave for those thirty seconds. You didn’t dare look at him, as you could practically feel his eyes looking over you and the vulnerability of it was too much. 

“I have lots of teas, what’s your favorite?” You asked with as normal of a voice as you could muster.

You turned and pulled out your tea box from the cupboard, and set it on the counter. He hadn’t replied, and you forced yourself to finally turn and look at him. You almost jumped when you found he had silently moved much closer to you, only inches away from you to your right. He leaned his arm on the counter and looked at you with those eyes. It provoked such a strong response from you, you felt yourself squirm uncomfortably and not knowing exactly what to do with your arms. 

He never looked at the tea. Those eyes were locked onto you and they wouldn’t let go. “Well that depends, love...” He reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. “I don’t think I could pick just one favorite. But right now...” He began walking behind you so closely that his clothes brushed into yours. He leaned over as he passed by you, his lips almost touching your ear. His words were like black silk. “I think I’m craving something sweet.” 

He passed by you and circled around the counter, taking a seat at one of your barstools. He seemed to be taking in your every reaction to his actions and reveling in them. 

You realized how quick and heavy your breath was. As if trying to knock your senses back into place, you shook your head a bit and picked out a mixed berry tea bag for him. With your eyes staying locked on your fingers and the paper wrapping, you remembered the fresh raspberries that you’d paid way to much for at the market earlier, and added a couple of them to the steaming mug. 

When you finally placed the tea bag into the drink, you looked up and he was gone. Your heart picked up as you began jolting your head side to side, looking all around the room.

As soon as you fully turned around, he was there. He stepped even closer than he was before, and he was now pressed against you from the waist down. You were leaning back against the counter to attempt to keep some personal space, your back slightly arched and your elbows supporting you. 

“Excellent choice, little one.” He said, looking at the wrapper. He picked up the hot mug and began dipping the tea bag up and down, the red flavor seeping from it tangling with the berries

You were still trying to catch your breath when he surprised you by dipping his finger into the mug. At first, you looked at him in confusion, but that feeling was ripped away by his touch. With the hot tea dripping from it, he dragged his finger from the nape of your neck up to your jawline. It became cold on your skin, and without warning, he leaned his head down to your neck. His tongue followed the line of sweet red liquid, sending a shiver of pleasure up your spine. You couldn't help but lean your head to the side, giving him more access to your vulnerable, delicate skin. 

But he didn’t take it. He just stopped at your ear. “Ah yes. Perfectly sweet. Just what I wanted,” He torturously removed himself from your neck. His figure stood tall once more and he looked into your eyes, drinking in every expression you gave him. 

Jesus. How was he so good at this? It was intoxicating. As he was still leaned against you, you felt his length beneath his slacks hardening. This was torture. Surely you had never been this turned on in your life, and you could feel the evidence of that claim in your underwear every time you moved. 

Then he slowly began to get closer to you. With how tall he was, he basically leaned over you as you pushed further back against the counter. Soon, he had you trapped between his arms, each of them holding him up on either side of you. “Well love, I’m quite satisfied. That tea was just what I needed.” He leaned even closer to your lips. You could practically taste his words. “But something tells me you’re not. There is something you need... isn’t there?” He tilted his head. “Do tell, darling. What is it you desire?”

His lips stayed there just a tiny movement away from touching. You breathed in his every breath as your own, and for a moment, you stayed there. His eyes locked into yours, and he raised his eyebrows questioningly. 

Finally, you couldn’t hold yourself back anymore. Your lips crashed into his, and he instantly followed suit. His tongue tangled into yours and he took control. He kissed you until he could feel your breath shaking, then he ended the kiss with a bite to your bottom lip.

A whimper spilled from your mouth, and the sound clearly drove him mad. He let out something that sounded like a growl before he lifted you onto the counter and pulled your bottoms from your body in one fluid motion. He took in the sight of you with those piercing eyes. 

Him looking at you in your underwear gave you a vulnerable feeling of almost-discomfort, but you shoved it down.

 A devilish grin replaced his focused expression, and he took your ankles in each hand, forcing you to be spread apart for him. “This is what you need, isn’t it love?” 

His eyes continued to explore your body, and you couldn’t find the words to reply to him. 

“Luckily for you, I am never one to leave a woman unsatisfied.” His hands began sliding from your ankles down to your thighs until they were both settled on the edges of your underwear. He knelt down and began to kiss the thin fabric covering you. You could feel his breath pushing through it. “Oh, what have we here? It looks like your garments couldn’t contain your excitement for me, darling.” You felt him run a finger over the fabric from your ass up to your clit, and your hips gently pushed against the teasing motion. Then you felt his tongue doing the same, and the fabric barrier between you became torture. 

Another whine escaped your lips, and you heard yourself whimper the word, “Please...”

“Please? Now surely you can do better than that, little mortal.” His voice was so full of lust you felt yourself contract just at the sound of it. 

“Please Loki. Please take them off. I can’t take it... please” you whimpered to him.

His grin grew and you saw him roll his eyes at the way you begged him. In an instant, He tore away the fabric as if it were paper, and his tongue began to dance over you. You heard yourself let out a moan of pleasure as he continued, keeping you held to the counter with his unbelievably strong hands. He was relentless for those several minutes, the pleasure only building and never ending. You heard more cries of pleasure spill from your lips, and in the mix of it, he stopped. Your whines were then of disappointment, and your stomach clenched from being so close to release. 

He stood up and with a flick of his wrist, his clothing vanished. You groaned at the sight of him- his lean but muscular body, and the V in his lower abdomen leading to what you couldn’t see below the edge of the counter. “Don’t worry darling. You will be satisfied shortly...” He placed himself over you once more, and you could feel him pushing at your entrance. He leaned down to your neck and bit at your ear, pulling another whimper from you. Then his lust-ridden voice filled your ear. “So long as you scream my name.”

He pushed all the way into you with one stroke, causing you to let out a cry. You remember his instructions and followed them obediently. What started off as a meaningless sound became his name as it fell from your lips. He went faster, and you saw him roll his eyes at the sight and feel of you. You tightened yourself for him and saw his nose and upper lip react as though he would growl. His mouth released a forced breath as he continued to push into you as tight as you were. 

He kept going, each time you cried out his name into your echoing kitchen he would go harder and faster. You were easily at your edge once more. 

Seeing how much he loved to hear his name, you decided to torture him in the perfect way he’d been torturing you. You locked your eyes on his. At the moment, his eyes were busy watching you take his full length. You got his attention. “Oh... Loki.” 

His lust-wild green eyes locked onto yours as he continued to push into you, his hands back on your ankles, holding you just how he wanted you. 

“Loki I’m gonna cum. Please, Loki. Oh fuck. Please make me cum. Oh god. Loki!” Your back arched as waves of pleasure overtook your every muscle. You had never experienced something this good before. He continued to push into you, and it as if he filled every part of you in exactly the right way. You cried out his name again as he carried you through your mind-blowing orgasm. 

Meanwhile, his name spilling from your lips in pleasure sent him over the edge. He rolled his eyes at your sounds as he shot himself into you. He almost collapsed on top of you, his arms shaking and his head hanging as he moaned in his pleasure. His pushes became shorter and irregular as he fell apart inside of you. You continued to squeeze on him as much as you could, wanting every last drop of him to fill you. It felt amazing, how warm and full he made you. 

At last, he pulled out of you, and you could feel drips of what he left behind sliding down to your ass. You took a moment to breathe, your head held uncomfortably by the hard countertop, but you were so at rest that you didn’t mind. When you finally caught your breath, you broke the silence. “Oh my god... that was...” You looked up, wanting to see if he was as satisfied as you. 

He was gone. What? You sat up and looked around for him, but he was nowhere to be seen. “Loki?”

There was no reply. You slid yourself off the counter, rolling down your long t-shirt back into place. Looking around left you disappointed... he just left without a word. Were you not good enough for him?

Your shoulders slouched, you walked towards your bathroom. Before you made it there, you caught sight of a note on your pillowcase in your bedroom. You scrambled over to it, unfolding the only possible remnant of the amazing lover you may have just lost. The paper was thin and intricate, with shining golden trim. You read the words, and a smile grew on your lips. 

Thursday night, 9 PM. 

        Be home.

Characters: Loki x Reader

Summary: All you wanted was a drink after a long day at work, but a pushy jerk and the God of Mischief have other ideas.

A/N: This was written while conceived from listening to ‘Like Lovers Do’ by Hey Violet, recommended to me by @lakinda5654. @just-the-hiddles and @yespolkadotkitty helped me amp it up and make it a little dirtier at the end than I had intended.

“One more, Jerry. It’s been a day.”

The bartender, with his leather jacket and mouth set into a firm line, nods gruffly and pulls another beer from the tap before plopping it down in front of you. You accept it with an answering nod and take a big gulp of the slightly bitter brew. That’s the ticket. It had been a hard day at work and stopped into the bar on the walk home to unwind a bit.

This bar was rundown and dirty, but you were accepted along with the rest of the regulars, and Jerry always knew the stiffness of drink you needed just by the look on your face. Plus, his hard, unwavering stare deterred the random asshole who thought that you were to be messed with simply because you were usually the lone lady in the joint.

Too bad Jerry was in the back when a newcomer came over and plopped down onto the stool next to you. He slides a drink in front of you and settles his hand onto your upper arm with far too much familiarity.

Forgotten Forgiveness

One-Shot story of Loki x Reader. You wake up in the hospital with amnesia and discover that Loki is your fiance, but you don’t remember him. 

Contains: Fluff, cursing

The steady electronic beeping is the first thing you hear. Then there’s the crinkling of plastic. There are voices, and footsteps following them, but they sound distant. 

You then become aware of your hands, and the soft sheets cradling them at your sides. Your head is resting of a fluffed pillow, and your hair tickles your shoulders as you begin to move your stiff neck. 

You take in your first, heavy breath, and the room around you smells of cleaning solutions. When you breathe is also when you feel the tube, going all the way down your throat and coming out of your mouth.

Finally, you flicker open your eyes. What happened? 

It’s clearly a hospital, but you don’t remember coming in or being hurt.  Worry and panic start to flood your weak body, and you look around. That’s when you feel the throbbing on your head. Your forehead has a significant bump that has stitches across the cut over the front of it.  Upon further inspection of your body, you have an IV flowing liquid into your left arm, and your entire body is sore. Your abdomen is wrapped in a layer of bandage. There are cuts and abrasions littering your arms and a particularly bad bruise on your collar bone.

With more effort than you should need, you manage to turn your head slightly to the side. In the edge of your vision, you see a man in the visitor’s chair sitting under several floating “get well soon” balloons. Next to him is a vase of flowers that have clearly started to lose their luster. 

You turn your head more, to get a better look at who is next to you, so they can help you and get this tube out of your throat. 

He is asleep, that’s the first thing you notice. His long hair goes down to his shoulders, and it is jet black. He’s wearing comfortable clothes- a grey sweatshirt and some black sweatpants. His body is slumped down in the chair. There is a thick book in his hands and he had clearly fallen asleep reading it, with his head leaning on the counter next to him. He’s obviously not hospital staff... you think. So what is he doing here?

There are no other patients in the small room. When you try to speak, only a painful wheeze comes out with the tube in your throat. Desperate to get some help and information at this point, you weakly reach out your arm and hit the metal railing of your bed. 

The man in the chair starts awake, his book sliding to the floor in the process. His eyes awaken and brighten when they lock onto yours. “Darling?” He stood up and got far too close to you, cupping your face in his hands. He lets out a short breath, and his eyes seem to be tearing up. “Darling!” He presses his forehead against yours. His voice is deep and gravelly from sleep, it is filled with joy.

What the hell... You try to move away, but your weakness and his hands on your face prevent you. 

“I thought I’d lost you. you must never scare me this way again, do you hear me?” You feel a tear land on your face. 

Anxiety is now pumping through your veins like poison. What is going on?

“Love... are you alright? he asks you, finally seeing the fear in your eyes.  He is still so overjoyed that he barely noticed your obvious discomfort.

Your eyes wide, you try to process how to handle this situation. He’s crazy... I just need someone I can tell and I’m sure the nurses will help me...

You lightly tug at the tube in your mouth, trying to get the man to leave and get a nurse in the room. 

“Oh, of course,” He looks up and back to the hall, still radiating relief at your consciousness. “I’ll retrieve a healer, just a moment darling.” He kisses your forehead and goes out to the hall. 

You take a moment to breathe and look around. You have no idea what time it is, and there are no windows to help you figure it out. 

A kind looking nurse enters the room and smiles warmly at you. It would have been a comforting feeling if you weren't still so focused on the strange man smiling at you just behind her. 

“Good morning sweetheart. Let’s get this out and you’ll be much more comfortable.” She said. As she checks your vitals and examins a few other things, your eyes keep glancing nervously over to the man staring at you. 

He seems to notice your fear and comes closer. “It’s alright love, this will be over quickly and I can finally hear that beautiful voice of yours again.” As he takes your hand, you can’t help but jerk it away, your anxiety building higher every time this stranger gets closer. 

His emerald eyes are locked onto you and he backs away, lost in thought. He tilts his head, and his eyes narrow. The concern seems to wash over him as you look back to the nurse. 

“Alright, you ready? Take 2 big breaths in for me.” 

You follow her instruction. 

“Ok here we go, take one more big breath and hold it.”

As you hold your breath, you feel the relief of the scratchy tube exiting your throat. But the relief is quickly replaced by discomfort, and you begin to cough excessively as the mucus in your throat dislodges. 

“There we go, great job sweetheart, just cough it out. I’ll get you some water.”

“w-” you tried to tell her to wait, to not leave you alone with this obsessive stranger, but your coughing stops you. You feel a hand on your shoulder, rubbing back and forth. 

You quickly jolt to the side, avoiding the touch. 

“Love, is everything alright...” he said once more, looking at you with much more worry now furrowing his brow. 

“Here we go.” The nurse returned, giving you the water you desperately needed to wet your dry throat. 

“Alright. anything bothering you? Are you comfortable? We just need to ask you a few questions okay?” she said in her soothing tone. 

“Y...yes,” your voice adjusted to being used for the first time in who knows how long. “I am uncomfortable... miss I...” you eyed the man nervously. You tried to lower your voice. “I don’t know who that is. He’s been saying all these things and holding my hands, I think he’s got the wrong room or...” Your voice shakily faded out. 

The nurses face fell, and she looked at the dark-haired man with a face that you didn’t expect. It looked like sympathy. 

When your eyes flicker back to him, his mouth is hanging slightly open. “What do you mean you don’t...” His eyes were wide. 

“Sir, I’m going to have to ask you to step out of the room with me for a moment-” 

“No.” he practically hissed at the nurse. “I will not leave her side. She is ill. She has to...” His voice leaves him as he looks at you again, with tears welling in his eyes and he shakes his head slightly in disbelief. “She wouldn’t forget me.” He looked almost aggressive now as he stared at the nurse.

“Sir, please come with me.” 

“I will not.”

“I will have to call security sir and-

“if you even dare to attempt to pull me from my-” His words fall when he sees your face once more. 

You are crying now, the confusion and pain of this entire situation overwhelming you. 

He rushes to your side and kneels down to be at your level. His hand begins to brush your hair out of your face. “Darling I-”

You jolt away from his touch, covering your eyes with your hands. “Please go away. Please. You’re scaring me. I don’t know who you are. I don’t know why I’m here or what happened to me. Please just go away...” Your quiet sobs fall into your hands and you curl up on your side, facing away from the man. 

You don’t feel any more touches or hear any more words from that deep voice. When you look up, to your relief, the room is empty. 

Several minutes pass before the nurse re-enters your room. She flashes you a sympathetic smile before closing the door behind her. 

“Please tell me what's going on,” you plead to her. 

“I will. I just need to ask you a few questions first.” She said, pulling out a clipboard. “What is your name?”

“(Y/N)”

“Where do you live (Y/N)?”

“New York”

“Good. What year is it?”

“It’s...um” I don’t know that. Why don’t I know that?? “I’m not...sure” Confusion and anxiety flood you once more. 

The nurse asks you more basic questions, most of which you know the answer to. 

“Can I please know what’s going on now?” you beg her. 

“Yes sweetie, I can. Though I’m afraid it isn’t the easiest story to hear.” She let out a sigh and pulls up the chair that the man had fallen asleep in before, and sits at your bedside. 

“You are in a hospital in New York City. 2 days ago, you were in a very serious car accident while riding in a taxi. A semi hit your side of the car straight on. You hit your head and were knocked out, but more severely a piece of debris became lodged quite deeply into your side. It hit your liver and required surgery to repair. You will still need to be recovering for some time.”

“Oh...” is all you have the ability to say. It was so much to take in.

“The other important detail...” she paused to either allow herself to think of what to say, or allow me to process what she already had. 

“Is that it appears you have retrograde amnesia, caused by your head injury. It means you have lost some of your memories, but only the more recent ones. That man... he wasn’t a stranger. I know it may seem like it, but he actually was your fiance.”

My fiance?!? Your heart feels as though it has forgotten to beat for a moment, and you find yourself trying to catch your breath. 

The nurse sees your wide eyes and takes your hand to comfort you. “I know this is a lot to take in, but retrograde amnesia often resolves on its own. The more time you spend around the people and places you lost, the more likely you’ll be able to get all of the memories back.”

“Okay...” you managed to croak out. “But... who else have I forgotten?”

“Well, I’m afraid I’m not sure sweetheart. There’s a slew of people in the waiting room here to visit you, but how are you feeling about everything right now? Many amnesia patients don’t want to immediately try to have their old memories forced back to the surface, it can be a bit overwhelming.” She explains as she tucks a fresh, warm blanket around you.

“No... I don’t want to wait. I want to see them.” You said to her flatly. I have to know. What life did I build here... what did I accomplish? What you do remember is moving to New York. How you’d always dreamed of living in the city and managed to get your hands on a roommate downtown. You had plenty of money saved up, and your first priority was to find a job...

“Alright. We will meet with them and send them in one at a time, okay?” She gives your hand a reassuring squeeze and leaves the room.

One by one, they came. To your shock and awe, you do remember most of them... from the news. My god, how did I manage this? Icons such as Tony Stark, Black Widow, the Scarlet Witch. All of them had the same story- you became friends as you seemed to visit the residential floor of the tower every day to see your lover, Loki. You lived with them in the Avengers tower after Loki proposed to you and you moved there with him. Since then, you’ve become a part of the family.

Many of them show you pictures. That’s the trippiest part. It’s one thing to hear about all the things you’ve done with no knowledge of them, and an entirely different thing to see it. Pictures with you and Natasha and Wanda having girls nights, dressing up or watching movies in your pajamas. Pictures with you and Loki side by side, looking as happy as you could ever be. Pictures of you, Tony, Banner, and several other men working on some futuristic science project, though you were likely just watching them work. What strikes you the hardest is just how happy you look in all these photos...

The meetings ended with one man, a giant of a man. He is blonde and also has long hair like your fiancé.

“Hello (Y/N).” His voice was deep and strong, but quiet at the moment. His face seemed to hold a mix of emotion, with pity, sadness, and fear all rolled into one. “I am Thor. I was to be your brother in law.”

Oh... this is Loki’s brother. “Hi, Thor,” you say timidly, quite shy in front of such a massive person.

“I just wanted to thank you.”

Now that you didn’t expect. “Oh... thank me for what?”

Well... you have said you remember who we are... even if you don’t remember our friendships. I’m just very glad that you are not so quick to become afraid of the person you loved. Even with all his past, I’m sure you recall- I know you will come to love him again as well.” He smiles warmly at you.

“Wait why- why would I be afraid?” Your voice began to tremble a bit. It was odd, that you don’t remember Loki as part of the team that you would see on the news or read about online.

“Well... you know. With his past.” He began to stumble on his words. “I’m just saying you aren't fleeing and rejecting him instantly, which is important. You still love him somewhere in there, I just know it.” He awkwardly boops your forehead with his finger, but you are still afraid and confused.

“Thor. I don’t know Loki. I don’t know or remember his past. What do I have to be afraid of?” Your voice is audibly shaking now. He paused, suddenly turning pale. “Thor. Tell me.”

He stumbled. “Well, you know it’s... it’s really not that big of a deal. It’s just- it was a while ago and-”

“TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD BE AFRAID OF!” You finally lose your patience and yell at the bulky but now timid man in front of you.

Thor let out a worrisome sigh. “He... he is the man that lead that attack on New York several years ago.”

That was him?! You can actually feel your soul leaving your body at that moment. No. You refuse to believe it. You would never allow yourself to date such a horrid person, let alone marry them.

You can feel your heart pounding out of your chest, and hot tears begin to fall from your eyes. Your hands are shaking out of your control, and your breath is escaping you, not giving you the amount of oxygen you feel you so desperately need. You immediately roll over into your pillow and let out a screaming sob. This is too much... how could I ever let myself...

There are soon hands rubbing your shoulder, and you hear the nurses kind voice. “It’s alright sweetie, it’s ok. He’s gone now. Let’s give you a break...”

Slowly, you drift off to sleep, letting your tears soak into the white cotton pillowcase.

It has been three days since you spoke with your old friends. The nurses have told you that you’re ready for discharge. You still need to spend most of your time resting though, as your abdomen is still healing.

You really didn’t have a choice as to where you would live, all of your things were still in the tower and you no longer had an apartment, and you obviously couldn’t work for your own income yet with your injuries.

When you arrive at the tower via taxi, it seems daunting. There are businessmen and women walking in and out, tourists taking pictures, and a receptionist at the front desk.

Home sweet home... you think to yourself sarcastically. The receptionist directs you to the 5th floor. Your breath was shaky as you took the short elevator ride up. When the silvery doors slide open, you walk slowly inside what seems like a futuristic living room. Tall windows span one of the walls, and couches and chairs lay in mini lounge areas around the room. All the people that visited you minus a few are here, and some faces you hadn’t seen before. They all turn to look at you as the elevator closes behind your back.

“(Y/N)! You’re back!” Thor’s deep voice echoes off the high ceiling of the room.

You smile weakly.

“Do you remember anything new?” Natasha asks you hopefully.

Your smile fades and you shake your head, looking down to the ground. “I just want my friends back. That’s why I’m here. I want to have you guys back. I saw those pictures and I’ve never looked so happy before. I want to be that happy again. I hope that maybe living here... we can rebuild our friendships.” You say as the group walks to you and gives you hugs of welcome and pats on the shoulder. Everyone is welcoming and kind as you try to put names to every face permanently in your mind.

After a while of conversation amount the group, you speak up. “So... can I maybe, have my own room? I’m really not comfortable with...um...”

The group exchanged worried glances. “Yes that should be fine, we just need to speak with Loki....” Wanda says with a nervous tone. She glanced at Thor, almost nudging him with her eyes to go into the room to speak with him.

“Lady (Y/N), do you think you can speak with him, even just for a moment? He really hasn’t been doing well since your accident...”

You process this for a moment. You do have some questions for him, and as nervous as you are, it needed to be done. So you nod your head at Thor. “Ok.”

He goes with you and knocks on the door to Loki’s room. Well, you and Loki’s room. “Loki?”

There is only silence in response. “Lady (Y/N) has returned. She still doesn’t remember anything, but she wishes to speak with you.”

There is a pause before the door opens on its own. Thor notices your disbelief and quickly explains it was his brothers magic, before gesturing you into the room.

The room in front of you is undoubtedly yours. Your succulents hung in gold, glass terrariums from the ceiling in the corner, and there are pictures of you with Loki littering the shelves and walls. You see your books on the several bookshelves, along with others that are distinctly not yours. The room also shows the taste of your used-to-be partner, with gold, black, and green lining all the furniture. A plush black rug climbs between your toes as you step inside.

Loki steps out of the bathroom. His eyes are heavy and red, and his dark circles seem to steal some of the light you had seen in his green eyes 3 days ago. “Hello (Y/N).” He seemed to be holding himself back, wanting to throw his arms around you, but instead wringing them together in front of him. 

You give him a light smile, feeling more uncomfortable by the minute. 

He stands there silently for a moment, not taking his eyes off you. “I miss you love. I miss you so much. I will do whatever it takes to help you remember. I know you are in there...I will do anything I can.” He steps forward and tries to take your hands, but you back away, forcing him to retreat with a wilted expression. 

He certainly doesn’t seem evil... For a moment you even think you feel a spark of pain for him, how difficult this must be... 

No. You refuse to be a part of this. “Loki, you killed people. Many innocent people. I have no idea what I was thinking, and how I managed to end up here. But this me is the real me, unmanipulated. I cannot allow myself to be with the person who did... that.” You stand tall and hold yourself up, even though inside you’re a nervous wreck. 

Loki doesn’t say anything. For a moment, his eyebrows raise. His mouth opens to speak, but nothing falls out. It was as if a knife had been driven through his chest. 

Don’t have pity. He doesn’t deserve it. Remember what he did. You keep reminding yourself as he is visibly falling apart in front of you. 

“I’m here to collect my things... Tony said I could live in a room of my own.” 

Loki doesn’t speak. He looks around the room, at the pictures and at your things, your beanbag in the corner where you liked to read, your many potted plants. “Please stay with me. These things were ours and...” 

“No, I want to have my own space,” you insist. 

It was then that he seems to break. He looks at you, then closes his eyes before he leaves the room without a word. 

Thor assisted you quietly as you moved into your own space. It was soothing, to have something as normal as this. All your books in their own shelf, all your plants growing happily on the windowsill in the sunshine. 

For the next week, you begin to re-learn all of your friendships. Wanda offered to go into your head and try to save your memories, but you have made the decision that a fresh start is what you need. You don’t want to be dating a terrorist, because that’s essentially what he was. You would rebuild your friendships and get some kind of work somewhere in the tower when you were fully healed. Everything was looking up. 

Except for one thing. When you returned to the tower, you began to have dreams each night. They would be foggy each morning and details were unreachable, but they would always cause you to wake up saddened. You only could barely remember Loki’s smiling face in one of them, sitting across from you at a table, drinking something from a mug. Laughing with you. Looking at you with those eyes... 

But they would be gone as easily as they came, your mind trapping them away as you awakened. 

During that week, Loki had been utterly nonexistent. He never showed himself, and only Thor would check in on him now and then to make sure he was alright. He was, of course, not alright. But he’ll get over it... it’s just a breakup. He’ll live. You always tried to convince yourself. But with each passing day lacking his presence, your argument seemed less and less solid. 

Late one night, you awaken suddenly to the sound of shouting. Crashing. Something breaking. You throw on your robe and check the clock. 2:34 am. What is going on in the lobby at this hour?

As you open your door to enter the lobby, you come upon the scene of Wanda yelling at Loki. “I will not do it. I refuse. Stop threatening me and move on!” She practically screams it at him. Loki looks like he’s about to attack her when Thor runs from his doorway and stands between them. You can’t make out what Thor says to him, only that Loki turns and storms into his room, slamming the door behind him. Thor checked on Wanda, then she cleaned up a broken vase with her magic before locking eyes with you. 

She walks up to you and lays a hand on your shoulder. “He wanted me to meddle with your mind while you were asleep to bring back your memory of him. I refused because you never gave consent, and he got angry. Everything is fine- don’t worry.” She gives you a reassuring smile. “Let’s go to bed.”

 While you were shocked by his actions, you also felt guilt rising up in your stomach. The man haunting your dreams with his smile and those eyes... he was quite possibly out of ideas. 

Another week passed after that incident. Loki hadn’t tried anything else except leaving you a note last night, saying how much he still loves and cares for you even if it has to be from a distance. You decide to call that progress. 

One afternoon, you decide you’d go shopping with Wanda and Natasha. You finally are almost fully healed from the accident and are wanting to celebrate. 

“Come on girl let’s go!” You hear Natasha’s voice outside your door. All dressed and ready to go, you pulled your wallet from your larger tote bag to put it in your much-more-chic blue clutch. Overly excited, you managed to catch your wallet on the handle of the tote bag, pulling it off of the table and spilling its contents all over the floor. 

“Ugh. Just a second!” you call out to your waiting company. You begin to clean up the mess, most of the contents are from the hospital you had shoved away- this is the bag you had that day. There’s get well cards, the bracelet from admission, some wrappers, receipts from the cafeteria...

As you are scraping the contents back into the bag, something shiny catches your eye. It’s small, and the sun reflecting off of it makes you squint. You reach down and pick it up, examining it more closely. 

It’s a ring. A beautiful, gold band. There are 2 golden leaves on each side of the center stone- a shining green emerald. On each side of the large stone were tiny sparkling diamonds. It’s honestly one of the prettiest rings you have ever seen. 

Then you notice the inscription on the inside. You Will Always Be Mine

That’s when you feel it. That tug in your mind and the pounding in your chest. Without thinking, you push the ring onto your finger. It fits perfectly on you.

That’s when the wave of memories overwhelms you. Your breathing is heavy as you stare at the ring, and your missing year is given back to you. 

Loki. Tears begin to stream down your face as you remember. 

Loki. The man you met while working as a barista in the coffee shop just adjacent to the tower. How he sat by himself in the corner with his book each evening. How he always ordered the same thing- his straight black coffee with a dash of sugar. How people always treated him like he was a monster. How you finally defended him one day and forced the rude customers to leave. How he began to leave you books to read on your breaks. How you began to bring him free lattes. How you’d make pictures of his helmet in the foam on top. How he started to sit with you during your breaks. How you talked endlessly. How he started leaving you notes in your books. How a note told you to meet him in Central Park one night. How you talked for hours under the stars. How he kissed you. How he revealed his secrets to you- how he was innocent. How he was tortured. How much he loved his mother.

Your sobbing becomes audible as more of your mind’s pieces fell together.

How he held you and touched you late at night. How he loved you. How a year after he first kissed you, he made you a coffee at the shop. How you drank it, and how your engagement ring, the ring on your finger now, was sitting in the bottom of the cup.  How three days later, your mind was stolen from you.

You’re gasping for air, the sobs overtaking your body like a storm. You can feel your heart pounding out of control. You scramble to your feet and throw open the door. Natasha and Wanda look at you in confusion and surprise. 

You remember them. You remember everything. Your girls nights out, how you were always there for each other, the three of you. “I remember...” you cry into Wanda’s shoulder. “I remember.”

You let out another sob and wrap the both of them into an embrace, only letting go when you remember the more important task at hand. You pull back and see tears in both the girls’ smiling eyes. 

“Where’s Loki?”

“Still in his room, I think. Go get him, girl.” Natasha says as she wipes away a tear. 

You practically sprint to Loki’s room and pound on the door. “Loki?!”

There was only silence. 

“Loki please let me in! I remember! Please let me in!” Your happy sobs create pauses in your words as you pound on the door again.

“Loki!” you yell and push open the unlocked door, which if you were in a more stable state at the moment you would have probably checked that first. The room is empty, and your fiance is nowhere to be found.  

After panting in the silence for a moment, your shout echoes through the entire floor. 

“THOR?!” 

He runs around the corner, ready to punch whoever has put you in danger. “Yes? Are you alright (Y/N)?” 

A whole new wave of tears overcomes you as you fall into a hug him without thinking. My brother. My only brother... even though he and Loki didn’t exactly get along, and you had your quarrels with him as well, at the moment none of it mattered. You remember your brother.

“Thor, I remember. I remember everything. Where is Loki?” 

Thor smiled brightly. “That’s wonderful! Oh, I am so happy Lady (Y/N), Loki will be himself again and-”

“Yes, where is he?” You rush him. 

“Oh right, well if he isn't in his chambers then he is in the coffee shop or at central park. Those are the only 3 places he ever goes.”

You sprint to the elevator before he even finishes the sentence. 

When you enter the coffee shop, the smell of coffee beans and the sound of soft piano music and steaming milk bring more memories flooding back in, and you welcome them with open arms.

There’s where you were interviewed for the job. There’s where he would sit. There’s the counter where he’d leave you books. There’s your favorite mug on the shelf behind the counter.

But he isn’t here. As much as you want to take in every detail of this place, you run for the exit, clumsily bumping into a few staring people on the way. You don’t care. Only one thing matters right now.

Central Park is only a couple blocks away. Even though your running has irritated the almost-healed wound on your stomach, you keep going. Every step you take closes that much more distance between you and the man you love.

The man you hurt. Your words to him this week... his face when you said them. How you “refused to date someone who killed people,” and how that wasn’t even his fault... I treated him like he was the monster his father made him out to be.

The pain of that realization alone was one of the worst pains you have ever felt. Tears ran down your face but you ignore them as they are pushed back by the wind in your face. Another memory floods your mind as your legs beg you to stop running.

“You really mean this?” His voice velvety smooth as he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

“Of course I do. I mean every word. I love you Loki. I will never treat you the way they did... I believe your story, every word of it. You will never be a disappointment to me. We might have problems or fights. But I will never leave you. Ever. I promise.” 

 He let out a short breath of relief, and you almost thought you saw the shine of tears in his eyes. His hand pulled you to him and your lips collided with his.“I love you so much, darling...”

I broke my promise... the second wave of shame and guilt threaten to put you on your knees. But you keep running. You run and refuse to stop. The pain you have just put him through is ending as soon as physically possible and not a single extra second of it will continue if you can help it.

Your tennis shoes hit the grass in the park. You remember the evenings you spent here with him. There was that bench by the pathway under the lamppost, the bridge over the small river, the willow tree you danced under when he first said, “I love you.”

I know where he is.

As expected, Loki is under your willow tree by the pond. He is sitting against the trunk, his figure slumped over a book.

Your lungs on fire and gasping for breath, you finally get the word out.

“Loki.”

Your legs find the strength to stumble forward and you fall to your knees next to him. You finally allow yourself to breathe.

Loki looks at you, his eyes wide in surprise. “(Y/N), are you alright? Why did you-”

You hold up your hand with your beautiful gold ring on your finger. The words pour out of you like water, unable to be contained between your sobs and gasps for breath. “Loki. I remember. I remember everything. Every single thing. I’m so sorry. I love you so much. I’m so in love with you and I broke my promise. I would do anything for you. I’m yours. I’m so- I’m-”

Without hesitation, Loki pulls you into him. It’s as if he can’t hold you tightly enough. “Oh, Darling. I missed you. I missed you so much...” His perfect velvety voice is breaking as his happy tears fall into your hair. You aren’t sure how long he holds you this way, but you refuse to leave his arms. 

“I love you. I’m sorry. I should have been there to protect you and I was paying the price-”

“Oh my god, this is 100% not your fault.” The words stumbled out of your mouth so fast they were almost blended together.

Loki shook his head, disagreeing but his joy overruled his will to argue. He held your head to his chest, wrapping his arms around your body. You feel him kiss your head and breathe in the smell of you. “You must never do this to me again, little one. I don’t think I could handle it.”

“I’m so sorry Loki. I’m here. I promise. I’m yours.”

The both of you pull back from each other and his shining emerald eyes meet yours. The way the sun dances in his is intoxicatingly beautiful. He pulls you in with a hand on the side of your face, and he kisses you. Your lips tangle with his perfectly, like the branches of the willow around you.

“Fuck!” you curse as the entire tray of red wine spills onto your white shirt and apron, the glasses falling to the floor, many of them shattering. Whoever just bumped into you was definitely at fault, as you had been walking straight without turning when they backed into you. 

“Watch where you’re going...” you mutter as you kneel to the floor to begin picking up the shards of glass. You said it mostly for self-satisfaction, not loudly enough for anyone at this A-List party to hear. 

“I was.” The voice is smooth and deep. 

Upon hearing a response to your comment, you look up, ready to apologize profusely... no one was supposed to hear that and you could easily be fired for such an attitude. But as you look up, the man kneels down in front of you.

He is one of the most attractive men you had ever laid eyes on. He isn’t stereotypically attractive- not like Captain America or any other of the men at this boring party. He is pale, but with jet black hair that reaches his shoulders. His entire suit matches that aesthetic, with not a drop of color but black to be found. The only colorful thing about him is his eyes- which pierce through your gaze in emerald green. He’s vaguely familiar...

You force yourself to stop staring. “I’m sorry sir, I was just- talking to myself.” 

“Oh- so you didn’t notice me intentionally back into you? Oh come now, I know you’re more observant than that darling.”

You stop your delicate hands cleaning up the shards of sharp glass for a moment. “You... you meant to run into me?” you ask him in confusion as you try to avoid being stepped on by the masses of dress shoes and heels making their way around you and your mess. 

He lets out a breathy, yet sexy chuckle. “Indeed I did...” he said it slowly, in a tone that expressed satisfaction... as if he was being rewarded for his efforts. You look up to see his devilish smile, and his eyes staring shamelessly at your wine covered breasts. 

Shit. You recall what you’re wearing... the catering company’s uniforms are so damn thin. The only bra you could wear under them without being seen was a thin bralette, and with the cold wine sticking to your skin and giving you chills at the moment, your nipples are quite easily seen. 

Well, he’s certainly blunt... you think as you realize what his intentions are. The way he so carelessly stares at you, as if he knows you won’t be offended by his crude actions. 

And why aren't you? Under any other circumstance, you would have slapped this perverse man across the face. But right now, you are blushing and you feel your heart speed up. 

He looks up at your eyes with eyebrows raised expectantly, his head tilted, waiting for a response to his comment. 

The way he stares at you with those eyes and that smirk- it’s intoxicating. You freeze and lose all ability to form words for a moment. You have to force yourself out of his stare, shaking your head and blinking away the high he just put you through. 

But when you look down, everything in the entire mess had vanished. The glass, the wine stain on the floor, the tray, all of it was gone. All except the wine on your white shirt. Dumbfounded, you look around and then back up at the man, who is now standing. 

“How... where did it-”

“Come now, you poor thing. We must get you cleaned up.” His tone was almost sarcastic. He holds his hand down and out to you. 

Still in awe of the disappeared mess, you take his hand and stand up. You look back at the ground once more, trying to ensure you haven't gone crazy. 

Against your better judgment, you allow the man to lead you by the hand through the party towards the other side of the room. He weaves his way seamlessly through the crowd. However, instead of leading you to the restrooms, he goes to the elevator. 

“Wait w- where are we going... I have my job and-”

“Well come now, you can’t do your job looking like that...” he insists and presses a button on the elevator. 

Gaining some of your willpower back now, you respond, “You know, there's a bathroom at the party, I really need to get back to my job...”

“Your job...” His tone is sultry. “Is to serve the guests, is it not?” 

“Well, yes...” you feel your heart pounding as his next words fill your ears. 

“Then you will most certainly be doing your job darling, no need to worry over that.”

You stutter, trying to process what he means. “Um...I-”

“Ah, here we are... this is my floor,” he speaks over you to drown out your hesitation. You both step out of the elevator, you walking much slower than him. You take in the sight of the empty lobby with apartments leading out of the walls. 

He lives... in the Avenger’s tower? “Wait... who are-”  You finally place the memory. You knew he looked familiar.

Loki watches as realization dawns on your face. His expression darkens. Without hesitation, he walks to you. It only takes him a couple of strides to be directly in front of you, staring down at you with those piercing eyes. 

“I... am Loki...” His voice is almost aggressive now. You begin to shake as he takes your wrists in one hand and pins them against the now-closed elevator doors. They are cold against your skin and give you chills all over again. You also now realize just how tall he is, as he leans against your pinned wrists, towering over you. 

“Prince of Asgard...” His voice is gravely and dark. He puts his other hand into your hair and roughly pulls back, forcing your head to face upward towards his. 

“And you... weak mortal, are meant to serve me.”

Even if you had the ability to run at this point, to get far away from this man before he had his way with you... you knew you would reject the opportunity. 

He watches your reaction for a moment, watching your eyes fill with fearful lust. Watching how your panting causes your wine-covered chest to rise and fall. With his eyes narrow, his mouth slightly open, he relishes in all the power he has over you at this moment. 

Then, he takes his hands from your wrists and hair. They instead make their way to your chest, his cold fingers reach into your shirt between two of the buttons. 

His fingers running along the soft skin of your chest creates a reaction in you far stronger then it should be, and you try to hold it in, closing your eyes. 

In an instant, he shocks you out of the trance by ripping open the thin shirt. You hear several buttons fall to the floor, and he pulls it off of you completely. You are now exposed to him in your lacey bralette, which has also been stained from the wine. 

He takes a moment to soak in the sight of you, but it isn't long. In an instant he grabs your hair and pulls to the side, forcing you to expose your bare neck. 

“You see darling, a beautiful creature such as yourself would be wasted on mortal men...” He whispers into your ear. He then takes a moment to run his cold tongue from the base of your neck up to your ear, causing you to let out a small whimper. 

“You are mine,” he growls into your ear. With a flick of his wrist, you find yourself completely naked in front of him. The sudden wave of air against your bare body is startling and your arms instinctively move to cover yourself.  

Loki doesn’t even let you complete the movement as he takes each of your wrists in his hands once more, and re-pins you against the elevator. “And what do you think you’re doing pet? Trying to hide from me what is mine?” he hisses into your neck and bites at your supple skin. 

You let out another whimper. “N- no... I- I was just-” 

A hand forcefully cups over your mouth. It startles you, and you still whimper slightly. 

Loki listens to your muffled noises coming from under his palm. His eyes are locked onto yours, and they are filled with lust. The tension between your bodies is so strong you swear you can physically feel it in your chest. 

“You are my personal whore tonight. You are here to serve me, and you will deny me no part of you. Every inch of you belongs to me. Do you understand?” 

Your eyes stayed locked on his, and you manage to nod with his hand still pressed against your lips. 

His smile is lustful and sinister. “Good girl” 

The hand drops from your mouth, you take in a sharp breath of air.

That’s when you feel his tongue. He is licking and kissing the sticky sweet wine from your skin, starting from your collar bone and working his way down your breast. Without warning he backs up again, only to roughly command you. 

“Now kneel.”

You obey his command as quickly as you can.

With that, he appears naked in front of you, causing you to jump. You hardly get a moment to take in the sight of him before he pushes himself into your agape mouth. You gag a bit at the size of him, then work to adjust to it as well as you can. He is far bigger than anyone you’ve ever taken before.

“Ahhhh...” He lets out a voice filled sigh, it’s almost a moan. Then he begins to move in you, making thrusts in and out of your mouth. His pace slowly quickens as you feel him pulsing in your mouth. He continues this until feel drool falling onto your chin and dripping onto your breasts. 

In an instant, he surprises you by removing himself. You gasp in a full breath of air. 

As quickly as he was gone, he is back inside you. Only this time, he pushes as far as he can into you and stops. He holds himself there and looks down at his mortal. You look up at him, locking your eyes with his, taking every inch of him in your mouth and throat. Loki rolls his eyes back at the sight of you.

He then surprises you again by stopping entirely, only to roughly grab your wrist and lead you down a hall and into a room. You stumble as you try to stand and keep up with him. When you arrive, it’s large and lavishly decorated, but you don’t get an opportunity to process it. 

Loki practically throws you onto the bed in front of him. 

“Open yourself to me,” he commands you. 

You hesitate, nervous and naked in this stranger’s room. 

His stare bores into you. “Are you daring to disobey me, pet?” The way he said things like this always baffled you. The words themselves were threatening, but his tone was purely quizzical. “To deny your King his pleasure? I do believe there would be heavy punishments for such defiance...”

“N-no... sir.”

His tone turns hard and gravely. “Then obey your King and spread your legs.” 

You do as he says, and he takes in the sight of you. “Ah, what's this?” he said as he ran a finger through your wetness, bringing it to his mouth to taste it. “So wet for me, and yet we haven't even begun.” 

You feel your breathing quicken again, and the feeling of such vulnerability in this position only leaves you more flustered. 

“What a naughty girl you are...”

His words cause you to whine with need, but you put all your effort into holding still. You close your eyes and focus on your breathing, trying to control yourself.

His mouth crashes into you. You let out a cry of pleasure as his silver tongue begins to work over every inch of you. It is as is there is no nerve left untouched. He nibbles at your most sensitive spot, before pushing a finger inside you. 

“Oh Fuck...” You hear yourself moan. 

He stops. 

You groan at the sudden and entire removal of him. He pulls himself on top of you and nibbles at your ear before whispering into it, “If you are to make any sound, it shall be my name. Do I make myself clear?” 

“Yes sir...” you wine to him in response, just wanting him to continue. 

“Good girl...” He returns to his place, his head between your legs once more. His tongue still moves over you like water, pleasuring one part of you before fluidly moving to the next. Back and forth, he keeps going like this until you are on the brink of a mind-blowing orgasm. 

“Oh... L-Loki”

He continues his work on you just for a moment, before retreating once more. This earns him another groan from your lips. 

“If I do grant you release, pet, it will be when you are taking every inch of me inside you...” His words are almost like growls at this point, as he positions himself at your entrance. He barely pushes into you, only to quickly back out as soon as you push closer to him. 

A disappointed whine escapes your lips. “Loki...” 

“Beg. Beg for me to fill you. Beg until your voice leaves you and I will take you with the strength a god can possess.”

His words light your insides on fire. All you want is him. 

“Please. Please fuck me Loki. Please use me. Please take what is yours. I just want you to use me. Please.”

Your begging satisfies him, and with a single thrust, Loki is inside of you. You cry out his name as he thrusts in and out of you, faster than you thought possible. It feels unworldly, the way he slides in and out of you so perfectly, and how wet you are to receive him. 

As Loki gets closer, you feel yourself coming to your edge. Loki grabs your hair and pulls your head back. “I can feel you tightening. Cum for me. Look at me and cum for your King,” he growls, never letting his piercing eyes leave yours.

Finally, he collapses on top of you. Both of you are sweating and panting. 

After a moment, he rolls to the side, laying on his back next to you. 

“Wow... that was amazing” you stammer. “But I really should get back to work now...”

Loki chuckles at your ignorance. “You truly are a naive mortal...” He rolls over to sit up and look at you once more. “...if you honestly think I am done with you.”
