Just a little Drabble

I’ve been waiting for fic all weekend but not much has been going on so I wrote this based on those stills of Samcedes in their living room (team box vs. no box). Just wanted to bring some fluff to the tag so enjoy :)

But for how long? Yesterday’s performance was the first of many on her national mall tour and between that and his modelling career finally taking off, the threat of separation reared its ugly head once more. Their past history indicated that long distance was never their forte and as much as he would have liked to try it out, he wasn’t sure if Mercedes felt the same. While he did not doubt she loved him as much as he loved her, she was also the practical one in their relationship. Long distance did not suit their practical needs.

"Hey babe, I’m home," Sam called out as he walked into the dark apartment. He crossed the threshold of the foyer and stood in the entrance to the living room, taking in the scene in front of him. Mercedes was lounging on the couch, a plateful of delectable looking cupcakes beside her. She was playing with her phone but immediately tossed it as soon as she saw him, a large smile on her face.

"Hey baby, here come sit with me." She gestured to the ottoman across from her as she sat up. Sam eyed her warily as he took a seat across from her. Was she trying to soften the blow of their inevitable break up? Well he will be damned if he let that happen before she knew how he truly felt.

"Before you say anything, hear me out," he began to ramble. "I love you more than anything right now and I don’t care how long your tour is or how busy our careers get or how far apart we are from each other because you’re the only woman I want and am ever going to want to be with. We already made the mistake of letting it come between us before but I’m not letting that happen again even if there are whole oceans between us." He let out a deep breath and leaned into her, hanging his head forward.

He felt her hands squeeze his thighs and he bit his lip to keep from rambling more or doing something drastic like proposing. While the thought had definitely crossed his mind more than once, he wanted to do it when the time was right because this was real and Mercedes was his soulmate.

"I wasn’t going to break up with you," she responded, a hint of a chuckle in her tone.

"What?" He lifted his head slightly to look at her and was relieved (and a little turned on) to find a sexy smile on her face.

"Sam," she said insistently, placing her hand underneath his chin and lifting it up so that he was now fully facing her. "I wasn’t going to break up with you."

His eyes scanned her face but he knew she was telling the truth. They were on the same level. “Even though you’re going on tour?”

Mercedes nodded. “You’re mine, I’m yours. Nothing else really matters.”

Sam grinned as he pulled her in for a hug. This is what he wished for. They really were perfect for each other. “I love you. I love you so much.” He nuzzled his face into her soft curls, loving the smell and feel of them against his skin.

"I love you too Sam Evans and I don’t want you to ever forget that." She pulled away from him slightly and pressed her full lips against his, kissing him deeply.

So apparently there was a Twisted Ship fanvid war going on this weekend on the Twisted FB. Anyway saw this Dacey fanvid, which I have never seen before. Shows me there a probably even more Dacey fanvids I have yet to see . Anyway what I loved about this one is it seemed to explicitly show Lacey’s and Danny’s body language toward each other and in regards to each other. I love it because on the Facebook page the Janners of course are sying their hate on Lacey, but they seem to ignore their body language which says more things than what is spoken as well as their actions toward each other.

*I will admit I couldn’t resist commenting on a few, correcting people especially since I re-watched the pilot this weekend and I noticed some more things.

If this is what it feels like to be a fangirl then I don't want it. I'm out here re-watching old clips and liking every blog set on Tumblr yet we still haven't reached Glee 5x15?

Like they only gave us a tease of Samcedes last episode after basically forever

So in essence, I need the next 24 hours to fly by because I am ready for all the feels
