I cannot stress this enough, spirit always knows. Whenever I feel called to do something, I should act on it right away. Especially if it feels right … I had the urge the day before yesterday to ask my grandmother for my uncle Javier’s favorite foods and drinks because I wanted to put his favorite things he indulged in the physical out for him to honor him. I also asked for a picture of him to put on my altar. He passed years before I was brought earth side but I recently started to connect with my ancestors and I feel his protection and prayers over me. I know he’s always with me and I want him to know I honor him and appreciate him. So today I was talking to my dad and he told me, “aye you know how you wanted to put my brother’s things out and you asked for a picture?.. well yesterday was his birthday. That’s why you wanted to do that mija” he said it didn’t dawn on him until today but I wish I would’ve acted on it and put out his favorite things the day I brought it up. I was waiting for next week to put up my ofrenda but spirit is telling me to get started yesterday. Some of my ancestors souls need to be replenished, it’s been a while. No se preocupen, aqui estoy.🙏🏼💞🤍✨

drinking a can of soda is better than not drinking anything at all. “junk” food is better than no food at all. just rinsing your mouth out with mouthwash is better than no oral hygiene at all. changing into a different set of pyjamas is better than not changing at all. getting up just to sit down on the chair across the room for a bit is better than not getting up at all. changing just your pillowcase is better than not changing your bedding at all. cracking a window open is better than getting no fresh air at all.

if you don’t have enough spoons for full tasks, smaller adaptations are better than nothing at all. it’s okay if you don’t have the energy to actively fight today. just staying afloat is enough. you are enough.
