GUYS PLEASE READ THIS

This saturday (april 16th) my country Ecuador suffered a horrible earthquake, one of the strongest in our history. Many coastal towns are totally destroyed and the roads to get there too. Many families have lost their life’s work, they have nothing now, not even a place to sleep, food or clothes. It is truly heartbreaking to see them in the news, people are desperate for help!! Ecuadorians as a whole are helping a lot by donating water, medicine, food and so on, but the damage is huuuuuge and we need more help to address people’s needs as soon as we can!! Our economic situation hasn’t been the best lately and this earthquake will only make it worse! Please PLEASE donate even if it is just a bit, we desperately need support!!!!

Happy 20th Anniversary, Empire Records

What’s with today, today? 

Empire Records was released on September 22, 1995. Written by a former Tower Records employee and made for 10 million dollars, the film grossed just over $293,879 in its two weeks in theaters (all 87 of them). The reviews were mostly awful, but thanks to a million teenage viewings at sleepovers and its endlessly quotable depiction of life at a record store (when those were still a thing), it slowly but surely grew into a bona fide cult classic.
