May I share that while reading your āInjured Birdā A sudden idea or AU pop into my head š Kinich AU where heās the first human that formed a contract with a dragon, who is Ajaw or past Ajaw before losing his powers and memories (like Gouba) and it was them who were actually the first Natlan foundersā š¤ and this some of the reasons why Harbingers got interested in Kinich, the only reincarnated human who has connections with dragons or dragon sovereigns.
Iāve been so out of the loop of Natlan and Genshin lore so this is just pure fun š even if it has no ties to the canon one. I was burned out and took a break but Kinich got me back (ļ¾Ė¶>įā<Ėµ)ļ¾

The only harbingers who may be aware of Kinich's reincarnation is The Jester, Damselette, or Doctor. The Cryo Archon herself may know, but that is debatable depending on what she plans to do with that information.
the fact Kinich is one of (if not the only) human to have made a contract with an ancient dragon is intriguing in it's own right, but in this context, it makes a lot of sense why the Fatui would be interested in him.
Only question now is whether their goal is to capture/study him, or somehow revive the spirit he is a reincarnation of.

Kinich may be somewhat useful to the fight against Celestia. I just recently his character profile - Vision and it came a shock to me that his vision possessed him. I saw a comment on youtube saying āCelestia not letting Ajaw take his bodyā š¤£ it was really funny.
What if they study him, then also trying to find whatās unique about the boy that Celestia didnāt let Kinich die (searching more surviving murals or scriptures). As for reviving the memories of his past self, I canāt think of anything how theyāll do that š¤ But if Kinich ever has to remember, itāll be probably he has to experience a deep trigger or shocking thatāll awaken the spirit heās reincarnated from.
Hehehehe~ Kinich's vision story truly is ripe with so much juicy lore potential (canon or fanon).
If I had to make a suggestion, maybe the figure in a mural doesn't look like Kinich specifically, but moreso looks like Ajaw or even Kinich's constellation. Capitano (having been in Natlan before), potentially recognizes the symbols that were present on the mural as well as on Kinich's person when/if he sees him summon Ajaw and the markings appear on his person. It perhaps the bracelet he wears to summon Ajaw is just like the one seen/described in the murals of the ruins.
This is giving me vibes of Kinich being targeted and captured solely for study/observation. Dottore and Columbina are in charge of him due to their unique ties to Teyvat and their knowledge of the Heavenly Principles.
Dottore is an easy answer to how they'll awaken the past memories, he's divided himself into segments and his experiments during the course of the Sumeru Archon Quest, he knows how to mess around and handle consciousnesses. If they ever decided to try and awaken his past self, Dottore only be told to do it.
However... there is fun in the past not being the sole factor. Perhaps they don't even bother doing such a thing because it's irrelevant to their current plan. What they need to understand is why is Kinich a reincarnation of the founder of Natlan? Why did Celestia allow his vision to bring him back from the dead? Was it solely just the vision that brought him back? Or perhaps was this another parallel event that happened to the founder once upon a time because of a similar contract they made with Ajaw the Sovereign, that matches the same contract Kinich made with Ajaw the Dragonlord.
Furthermore, going with the idea that Celestia did so specifically to prevent Ajaw from gaining his true power very well might be a reason why he was locked away to begin with. Perhaps Kinich's revival from death was a means to prevent another Sovereign from awakening in Teyvat.
Which means, an end goal for the Fatui may very well try to kill Kinich so Ajaw can inhabit his body and his full dragonhood can be awakened. However, I doubt Ajaw would be pleased by such a turn of events, even if he wants Kinich dead, he's doing it for his freedom and doesn't want to be another pawn for an Archon.
.... And perhaps as another turn of events, Kinich's vision had a very special function to NOT allow him to die. It refuses to let any deathly harm come to him, even if he were to perish. The situation during the Night Warden Wars might've been the only time Kinich has been dealt a lethal blow, but who's to say his vision won't pull the same trick again if something similar were to occur.
I bet Dottore would be so deeply intrigued by such a phenomenon.
Past Kinichās plans for the future Kinich to do something or if something happens to him is such a plot twist move. Itās like telling Celestia they can never touch his reincarnation. Thatās like hundreds of steps ahead of Celestiaās plans. I donāt think even Dottore can figure it out even if he theorize or maybe he can also figure it outāthereās no telling how his mind works.
Celestia making their own moves so that not another Sovereign returns while past Kinichās plans are still in motionāpast Kinich do be making a 4D chess move even after death. Itās like I headcannon him as a distant yet kind-hearted person but also a strategic and cunning person if someone dares harm his loved ones. A bit similar to our Kinich todayābut he shows kindness more and a battle strategist.
Visions are really mysterious. I feel like we barely still know their lore. Iām not sure for other characters but this is the second time a Vision acted on itās own, first was Kazuha or more like his friendās Vision reacting to him when it wasnāt supposed to and now Kinichās too (Because of this, I crave for a Kinich and Kazuha meeting in-game).

I was thinking about Renheng then I came across of an update that Kaisagi (Kaiser x Isagi) became canon in manga. So now I canāt get this weird socmed crossover out of my mind LOL
where Bladeās Alternate Self traveled to the HSR universe to keep watch of the universeās fate as it is his duty to record history (he surrendered his fate to the Aeon of Remembrance) instead of stealing memories.

This is both Renheng and Renheng (alternate self) pairing.
The alternate Ren and Dan Heng had let go of the past and decided to move forward to begin their new story.
After the incident, Ren left the Stellaron Hunters, surrendering his fate to Fuli, the Remembrance.
At the end of the story, his hair begins to show signs of returning to its color of snow however, his youthful appearance remains the same. With his navy blue hair tied in a long ponytail, the red tips and highlights were replaced with a color as white as snow.
Another thing that is noticeable was the faint power of a dragon within him.
In this AU, Dan Heng is talking to Bladeās alternate self āRenā from another universe so heās not talking to Blade who is out to get him. Because this Ren heās talking to doesnāt resent him.
Dan Heng first met Ren during his seclusion (training) on a far-away planet away from his Astral Express family. It was his decisionāto relearn the power of the primordial Vidyadhara High Elder and recover the lost memories of Dan Feng.
At first glance, Dan Heng is stuck between trusting Ren and being wary of him. As they spend time together in a domestic and training life, Dan Heng opens up to what he is feeling and the uncertainty he feels onwards his journey, with the Express and his past that is slowly catching up to him completely with no more lies and doubts hiding the truth.
They say, āA misunderstanding of one year is a misunderstanding. A misunderstanding of ten years is an injustice. A misunderstanding of a lifetime, from life to death, is fate. Their fate was blighted.ā āreferencing, The Husky and & His White Cat Shizun
And that was what had troubled Dan Heng from the beginning of his life on this planet until now. Everything that he learned so far from othersā perspectives and information on Dan Feng had all been one-sided and biased. A ātruthā themselves declared without a spare of conscience.
The mirages shown to him by the cultivators on this planet were not lies, even Dan Heng could tell they spoke of the truth than the words of the people who were not present during that time.
But what had devastated him the most was the very person with himāwith Dan Feng that day was no different from the people who made up their own truth.
Blade.
Ren was silent throughout the entire story. Dan Heng did not question his silence in return. Even if they live in two different worlds and experience different choices in life, they understand each other the most.
It took Ren a long time to share his storyā the similar fate Dan Heng and Blade shared. Unlike the two of them, Ren had reconciled with him, and confessed to him, and the tragedy they tried hard to prevent repeated itself once again.
That time was different. āHeā found a new solution to put an end to the samsara cycle of the Vidyadhara race.

A solution that required his entire existence.
The curse that was placed on his race was far greater than he could have imagined. As if an Aeon had cursed them to live a long life of suffering. A-Heng was no Aeon but he had the full power of a High Elder, both healing and destructive capable of being an Emanator. But it was still not on the same level as the Aeon of Permanence.
They were just starting a new chapter. After many series of misunderstandings had cleared up, months of yearning and longing, a once-in-a-lifetime words of feelings they have for each other. Ren and A-Heng started dating again.
Ren wanted to atone for his sin, how wrongfully he had treated A-Heng and thought a mere forgiveness is not worth it. But A-Heng seeks nothing in return, he wants to spend the entire present with him and the coming future once everything is over.
But none of them knew that day that the future required one of them to stay alive a bit longer.
The regrets burned Ren to the core. A-Hengās last expression was mixed with sadness, hope and regret. He knew A-Heng also wanted to live a long time for the both of them. They just started to heal and patch each otherās wounds, only to inflict more permanent and incurable wounds.
In his last moments, A-Heng feared that his power would be once again put into the wrong hands, and in that moment of desperation, Ren offered himself to be the bearer of his power.
All the crimes came to light soon after and the day after that, Ren destroyed the entire Xianzhou Luofu ship leaving Jing Yuan the sole survivor. Leaving him with words to atone for the sin of inaction for hundreds of years.
Next, he searched for Jingliu. He expected to meet a sword pierced into his body again but not today and never will be from that day onwards. Words seemed to have reached Jingliuās ears and Ren spared no effort to respond to her silent words.
āI will never forgive you.ā
A misunderstanding of one year is a misunderstanding.
āBlinded by mara and rage, you created false memories in me.ā
A misunderstanding of ten years is an injustice.
āWhy does it have to be him.ā
A misunderstanding of a lifetime, from life to death, is fate.
āIs wishing for freedomā¦ a sin for those who yearned for it.ā
Ren and A-Hengās fate was blighted.
He did not question it. To him, he knows that Jingliu views everyoneās sin as bigger than hers. Claiming that succumbing to mara and taking the lives of her people is her only sin but to him, to Ren, the excuse is another declared truth of her own false belief.
A-Hengā¦ this universe is worthless without you.

A few months after, they spent their time together and before they knew, Dan Heng will return to the Astral Express and Ren will continue his path to be the witness of this universeās story where the gaze of this universeās Destinyās Slave does not fall on him. They had their first spar.
It was a tie.
The spar ended earlier than expected when a familiar object fell from Renās sleeves.
A bracer.
But a broken one at that. It was barely unrecognizable if it wasnāt for Dan Fengās memories of the bracer he and Ren shared before. Ren picked up the bracer and looked at it for a few seconds before hiding it again in his sleeves.
Renās bracer was already gone during the battle against the Emanator of the Hunt. This bracer belonged to A-Heng and itās the last memory of him. It can no longer be worn and there is no temperature to detect the ownerās location.
Why does he still keep the bracer he asked.
The answer is simple:
This broken bracer is a reminder for him that his home, his Dan Heng is gone and will never return.
Donāt take this seriously, Iām just having fun
Same canon timeline from game except Elio and Kafka support Ren when recalling his lost memory.
Dan Heng is not shallow enough to believe in the rumors about Dan Feng and he would actually investigate (like Lan Wangji investigating the trigger of Wei Wuxian loss of control)
Jing Yuan would be suspicious and investigate the preceptors in the shadows once he gathers the puzzle pieces (instead of waiting for who knows how many hundreds of years have passed since Dan Feng molting rebirth).
Like Dan Heng, Ren would also have little bits of memory recall (mirages) when he visits old places that he and Dan Feng used to stroll and hangout.
I forgot to mention that Ren and Dan Hengās relationship is still the same, Ren chasing and telling Dan Heng to pay for their sins.
But this time, he also does some investigating himself when the actual suspicion that during the incident in the past is too strange.
(I just want people to stop thinking Dan Feng is a villain š)

Ren and Dan Heng have their moments like working together without fighting for once, booking one room and one bed, Ren not admitting he is jealous when he doesnāt know anything about Dan Heng, and Dan Heng comforting Ren when heās having nightmares.
Jingliu seeks help from Luocha who can aid him to not only communicate with the dead but also proceed their plan against the Aeons.
The way we have readables that suspects the preceptors involvement but Dan Heng never reads them so in this AU, this Dan Heng ACTUALLY READS.
Ren accepts Dan Feng is gone and face Dan Heng in the present. Dan Heng accepts Yingxing might never return and face Ren in the present (in the future Renās old habits comes back).
Dan Feng sacrificing the world and his own future to save Yingxing while Dan Heng sacrificing his own lifespan and cloudhymn magic that belonged to the Aeon of Permanence, Long to save Ren.
To get rid of the immortality and return Dan Hengās full power back, Ren returned the dragon heart to Dan Heng.
Dan Heng waiting for Ren to wake up for 400 years. In those years, Dan Heng cleaned and fixed the mess that Dan Feng was not able to do, remove the High Elder system and took away the elders and preceptorsā duty from teaching the young.
Dan Heng continues the plan Dan Feng of setting his people free from the samsara cycle.
Along the way, Dan Heng was able to find a solution how to get rid of the mara (I aināt gonna explain that, itās a long explanation)
Jingliu traveling the world, from planet to planet while carrying the last memento of Baiheng. Promising that they would meet and cross paths again.
Jing Yuan retiring and letting both Fu Xuan and Yanqing handle his duties. He decided to carve his own path and hopes to be able to meet Dan Heng again.
Dan Heng wanted to be there when Ren wakes up but heās needed by his companions. To the sleeping Ren, he promises he would look for him.
Few days later, Ren woke up to an empty room. Elio, Kafka and Silver came by later while Ren was getting ready to depart with them.
Before they left, Ren told Elio that he would temporarily leave the group soon.
Silver asked why, only for Ren to answer that he has unfinished business with the owner who has the other half of his bracer.
The end. I might have missed something but nothing important, probably!
Having 4/5 unreliable narrators isā¦ hard to accept. Not even Jing Yuan is a reliable one even if he wasnāt involve.
Xianzhou plot is just an overall mess, itās like almost everyone accepted Dan Feng destroyed the universe or something when there are still sinister masterminds lurking in the shadows of Luofu roaming freely.
So I just made my own AU of to make myself feel better. Please donāt take this seriously if youāre gonna get affected negatively š
