❄️Also known as the Winter Solstice, Yule is the celebration of the abundance of light✨

❄️It takes place on the shortest day and longest night of the year and even though the darkness has taken over the sky from this point onwards we are aware that the days will once again become lighter☀️ Yule is celebrated for a number of days around this time🌲

❄️Things to do for Yule:

Re-Decorate your altar or sacred space 🕯

Bake cakes, bread and pies🥧🧁

Have a feast 🍷🥘

Decorate your house with seasonal items such as pine cones, holly and mistletoe🌿

Decorate a Yule tree 🌲

Clearing and cleaning out your home, and then cleansing it ready for the new year✨

Exchanging gifts with friends and loved ones 🎁

Ive never payed much attention to shots like these. I took most of them because I was bored or just to finish the roll of film. But last weekend Ive lost my camera with a few random shots on it and it really stabbed my heart to know that they are gone. Im not really sure what I want to say.. Im just happy to know that all my memories, every single day of the past few years is stored on film in my closet.. even though its nothing special. thank you photography

Wiccanlar ve cadılar 8 mevsimsel bayramı kutlamaktadırlar. Wiccanlara ve cadılara göre bu 8 mevsimsel bayram, doğanın ve dolayısıyla yaşamın döngüleridir ve bu döngülere uygun olarak tanrı ve tanrıçalara dua edip ve kutlamaktadırlar. Bu döngüler; samhain, imbolg, oestara, beltane, litha, lammas, madron yule’dur. Bunlar arasında Samhain, Imbolg, Beltane ve Lammas gibi ana sabbatlar, çevrede ki doğal olgular gözlemlenerek belirlenmiştir.

Mevsimsel döngülerin kutlanmasının sebebi, bizimde doğanın bir parçası olarak doğayla birlikte bu döngülere uğradığımıza inanılmasından öte gelmektedir. Wiccalar genelde kutlamalarla geçirirken, cadılar sadece kutlamakla kalmaz aynı zamanda bu mevsim döngülerinin enerjisel yansımalarında da faydalanırlar.
