Should probably post an update about issue 1 of my Captain Marvel comic here. Art and lettering is done! I just have to scan the pages and get the website they're being hosted on ready. Also gotta work on the cover and write a basic summary of the comic lol.

Does anyone remember when Billy actually almost got himself euthanized. Like he was watching the sun set and crying because he knew it was his last day on earth but he was still ready to die anyways because he thought it'd be for the best. Or am I the only one who read that one?

Captain Marvel is a unicorn. Does anyone want me to elaborate.

Excerpt from the Medieval Bestiary: "In Christian allegory the unicorn signifies Christ, who was made incarnate in Mary's womb, was captured by the Jews, and was put to death. The unicorn's fierce wildness shows the inability of hell to hold Christ. The single horn represents the unity of God and Christ. The small size of the unicorn is a symbol of Christ's humility in becoming human."

"From a non-Christian viewpoint, the unicorn's horn can be seen as a phallic symbol, with which it will 'defile' the maiden. The hunters kill the unicorn to protect the maiden's purity, though the maiden may not want to be protected; most images are ambiguous as to the maiden's intent in attracting the unicorn and she often seems to protest its killing."

Beautia is the maiden whom is both used as bait to capture the unicorn and is unwillingly "protected" by Sivana and her family against it.

Captain Marvel is simultaneously phallic and sexless. Too shy to ever pursue a woman yet constantly attracting them / being attracted to save them. Billy's small form in contrast to Captain Marvel's superhuman body can be likened to Christ humbling himself through becoming human. I also have a lot of opinions on the weird romance Beautia and Captain Marvel have and how the lack of women in Billy's life leads to him having a very Freudian relationship with Beautia, who often mothers him.

Working on this comic has made me insane sorry I had to let it out. Do you see the vision or am I just free associating stuff?
