Since I was a kid, I always wanted to be truly loved, but thinking about it now, I don't think I ever was.

I grew up with my father hitting me, mostly when he was drunk, so I always hide when he gets aggressive. Sometimes I can't avoid it when he comes into my room and pressures me, especially because of my absences from school.

I can't help it, you know? I feel so empty all the time and school is so scary. Nobody likes me there and I get bullied.

Regarding my mother, she always despised me and even told me explicitly, "I didn't want to give birth to you." And she had me when she was thirty-three. So it's not about maturity or anything like that, especially since my sister is older and is very loved by everyone.

It seemed that no matter how hard I tried, nobody would ever care.

Wow, that was like magic!!! They are like angels to me! They care about me, they ask how my day was.

Lance is so kind and listens to my incessant yapping!! He has so much patience with someone so unlovable!

Lamb!! I haven't forgotten about you, Silly. I love you so much even though it's been a while since we talked. You're so sweet and so good at reassuring me.

Hot take time apparently! Jirai is for everyone. You don't and shouldn't have to make yourself more "mentally ill" to fit in, you shouldn't be forced to leave just cause your not "explosive" enough.

We're supposed to be a community that supports each other, not one that gatekeeps and forces others out just because they don't fit our normal standards.

All of us were baby jirais just wanting to fit in at one point. Let's not alienize others for not fitting a mold. We are a community. Let's please remember that and not push others out just cause they aren't as landmine as others.
