I am more than happy to Anon.

So as a fandom we can collectively agree that Shauna is very wolf coded. I know there are a few Werewolf AU around. Only thing is that that is kinda limiting, only being able to transform under the full moon, so I decided to make her more of a shapeshifter - inheriting the ability via the recessive gene - to offer for freedom to myself while writing.

Set during the summer, the premises of the fic is that while out walking her dog late one night, Melissa accidently stumbles upon wolf Shauna devouring prey in the woods. Shauna attacks Melissa, pinning her to the ground but is chased off by Melissa's dog. During their next practice (the team are practicing all summer to improve their skills to win next season), Shauna and Melissa end up in an altercation, leaving Shauna on top of Melissa, and Melissa recognises Shauna's eyes as the same as the wolf.

Que an entire summer of them meeting up in secret, falling in love and finding happiness in eachother.

Another reason Shauna being a wolf / shapeshifter is that it offers a great way to have a manifestion of her darker side, the part she has hidden away but can't really accept or share. Her parents would want no one to know, and she hides it from Jackie out of fear of being rejected & shunned . It also allows for Melissa to feel increadibly special, knowing this huge secret, fulfilling her biggest wish of being special to someone.

Current working title is The summer we found love within ourselves, and I'm slowly building all the scenarios and timeline in my phone notes, with the aim being to work on it over the summer once I'm free of University bc I am way to behind on all. Also gives time for the season to end and hopefully offer further insight into Melissa's mentality that I can use in the fic.

Hey! I guess the best way to describe it is a roller coaster, not because things have been crazy (they had been from time to time of course) but just, lots of ups and down

Since Sun hasn't really interacted with many people in the cast outside of Blake and Neptune, not really.

His dynamic / relationship with Blake, and the focus on helping her accept her faunus identity and finding confidence after Adam's abuse meant he didn't really get a chance to have his own plotline.

Though the Before The Dawn novel does an excellent job of giving him his own character outside of Blake - highly recommend.

If I had to pick someone however, then probably Velvet. They get paired up together for a few chapters in the novel (from what I remember, it's been nearly three years), and I could see them having a cute relationship if explored and properly written.

Oh my god this hurts

They were a boyband that was big a few years ago, got put together by Nickelodeon for a tv show that was about 4 boys becoming a boyband

They were great, sounded great live and acoustic and their songs were really nice, and unlike some other boybands they never got into any fights with other celebrities, just all around angels

But Nickelodeon dropped them to kiss 1D’s ass and so with no more show and no Nick to support their music either they all went their own way

i love the tsubasa world your sm, darumi also snaps the combat in half, if u make tsubasa use accelerate on her she also gets tsubasa range and every other attack she uses heals fatigue but I thiiiiiink darumi generates more voltage? also kurara bombs nuke any boss with counter its hysterical

Alas, I haven't had much chance to play with Darumi bc [SPOILER REASONS]. I'm very Tsubasa bias tho she is my girl ~

Everything about her is perfection. Also I have absolute brainrot with her and Addamaque / her x Addamaque x Shion polycule so you know. Fave character bias + can't get fatigue + lower attack damage with her attacks? Absolute unit in Extreme and Despair mode

i think maggot brain by funkadelic is a freaking amazing perfect weird and vibey time, quite frankly peak music atmosphere of all time imo lmao, no hate if it’s not your thing tho!! but quite frankly anything by funkadelic is amazing (‘ain’t that funkin kinda hard’ will make you ascend and i cannot see anyone disliking, ‘standing on the verge of getting it on’ and ‘america eats its young’ (biological speculation!) my personal fave albums, but seriously listen and feel an ascension).

fun fact abt maggot brain: the guitarist (eddie hazel my beloved) was on lsd at the time of the recording (they were also on lsd p often at that time no biggie) and was told to imagine his mother dying before making that, his guitar is incredible and also meant to be like him sobbing, his cries. his mom played this song at his funeral.

For some of my fave artists:

Yoste is my most played artist every year - indie, ambience stuff. His music is very relaxing. His new song Flicker I've had on loop for days

Bastille is iconic. I saw them perform their debut album live on their tenth anniversary and cemented them as my fave artists. Each album is just full of bangers.

Marianas Trench are an old staple favourite from my teen years alongside The Maine. Dean Lewis and Oh Wonder are another staple of a lot of my playlists

If you want an insanely amazing concept album - check out The Fox and The Bird. Insane bit of songwriting and storytelling. The Racoon and The Myth is one of my fave songs of all times.

Now onto my more Japanese Stuff. HEAVILY influenced by my teen anime years lol.

Hololive is a company that has talent who stream video games but also sing and perform. There are like 60+ talent, but ones who have broken into the mainstream music world are Calliope Mori and Hoshimachi Suisei, check those girls out.

I will never shut up about my Love Live! Nijigasak girls. It's idol music but each girl as their own style and aesthetic, which leads to really great solos. They also have great group songs also.

I'm also an old school Vocaloid fan so have a lot of music from them, plus from the producers, some if them have gone to produce music for Japanese artists in general or have their own successful music careers. Reol, Ado, Giga, Kanaria, Deco*27 and Kira are the first who come to mind.
