Karim: They weigh the same, woman who is worse than an ifrit, they’re both a kilogram.

Lilly: WRONG! The answer is feathers.

Karim: What! How?

Lilly: A kilogram of steel is just piece of steel but if you try to carry a kilogram of feathers you also have to carry the weight of what you did to those poor birds.

Karim: 👁👄👁

Ambrose: You’re both wrong. A kilogram of steel is slightly heavier than a kilogram of feathers. A kilogram of feather will displace more air as the density of feathers is less comparitively. Now stop wasting time and get back to work.

So I just started reading Lord day and lady night and Lilly and Dick are in the states and they’ve left my baby Karim behind😭😭 he doesn’t deserve this

I get why he did that for storm and silence eventually it became a theme (honestly I wish lilly was on the covers later on in the book. Honestly book 7 needs both of them on it)

why is ambrose meticulously clean shaven? Why did he shave? Why didn’t he have a beard? Wouldn’t it have saved him more time and money to not shave? Or can he not grow a beard or moustache? Is mr ambrose chandler bing 😳??? I need answers

Further more in SIG we see that the only hair he has on his chest is a light trail from his naval to underneath his trousers while the rest of him is smooth showing that mr Ambrose CANNOT grow a beard as he has literally no hair on his chest

FURTHERMORE they were in the jungle for M O N T H S and he grew no little stubble? Nothing at all? Would he waste time shaving a lil stubble in the jungle? Unlikely

He cannot grow a beard, cannot grow a moustache and he has no chest hair
