there actually was quite the possibility of Hawthorne becoming a villain (in an alternate tl probably) back before I retconned her relationship with Alana Maxwell. I had a few different possible outcomes, and one was Hawthorne snaps and hunts down Minkowski and her family, then continues down a violent downward spiral.....
