Lucien going from Elain had been thrown at him…

to … he is, and always will be, Elain’s.

From what SJM said so far, we’re headed for a long, slow-burn arc between Elain and Lucien. Everything we already knew tbh, with the added bonus that Elain knows Lucien is hot, which only makes the tension better 🫶🏼

If they were already perfectly comfortable with each other, it wouldn’t really be a slow burn, would it? Character development exists for a reason

There's just something so... Hnnng!! about Lucien showing his mating instincts that have me feral! And we all know SJM wrote him as being able to reign that part in, but when she allows him to explore that side of him? To have Elain urge it?! I'll melt!
