gender yet affirming transition therapy (G.Y.A.T.T.)
As we approach election time we have to realize that liberals come from every marginalized background in the US, including arab/palestinian/muslim neoliberals, who will be loud. They will weaponize their identity "as an x" and treat you like you don't care for "x lives" when all you are doing is merely asking for something beyond the system we live in, beyond this 2 party system that sends our tax dollars all over the world to subjugate and kill people. They will call you ignorant and ask you to be realistic because theyve normalized this settler colony at the expense of others in the hopes that a Harris Presidency will allow them to be blind to the growing cracks of this white supremacist settler colony pretending to be a reformed democracy and not an empire. At this point we can't call just call a marginalized person who defends empire just a liberal but also a normalizer. Palestinians use this term to refer to a Palestinian who not only collaborates and establishes relations with israel and zionists as if it is normal but also negates the revolutionary struggle and use their zionist propagated platforms to silence calls for Palestinian liberation. In the American case, the American normalizers normalize the two party system, they defend American imperialism as long as they see themselves within the system ("representation politics"), they normalize the presidency ("we can reform, third party will never happen but it can get better"), and worst normalize genocide ("what's happening in Gaza is bad, but")
I hope the people who went around saying there's no difference between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are real proud of themselves right now.
???????!? beg your pardon!
Palestinians led the charge to rightfully recognize them as such. You are alarmingly posting this full throated, despite this rhetoric being completely and utterly bigoted and racist. the utter condescension.
We see your words and your anti-Palestinian racist implications and we rebuke your ignorance.
Just Reminder and I know a lot of people know this but as someone who is part Greek and Italian and a Hellenic Polytheist, please it’s important to keep in mind of listening to Greek voices about Hellenic polytheism. Hellenic Polytheism is open and inclusive to all people and walks of life, but to keep in mind it’s rooted within Hellenic Culture and it is still heavily part of the Greek people even Italian people all over the world. Please keep this in mind and it’s good to be aware of it!
this includes the entire mediterranean. if you’re from malta, tunisia, algeria, spain, palestine, cyprus, turkey, etc. you may lay claimage to this as your heritage as much as greeks and italians do.
It's not rooted within Hellenic culture. This is softcore folkism. Cmon guys.
hi can you explain your point further? bc from my perspective the statement is innocuous because much of it is indeed based on linguistic works originative in Hellenic tongues, so how is it not rooted? orr maybe a better question is, how is this problematic ie the defining of "roots" for this?
also my initial comment sought to highlight how farspread across the mediterranean a legacy of cultural heritage exists, i just looked up folkism so i dont rly get yet how these could intersect
Because this person doesn’t even know what Folkism is and throwing it around when it’s not true. I might’ve misspoke or made a mistake. But to stay I’m partaking in Folkism is the most fucked up shit I ever heard. When I wrote my comment I should’ve included all of Mediterranean peoples but Hellenic Polytheism is mostly based in Greek culture and traditions, google can be very helpful. But not to say the Greeks didn’t have influences because they certainly had adopted other cultures and deities. I NEVER advocated or supported Folkism or any fascist ideology or even thought Hellenic Polytheism is exclusive never. It’s not just me who had this experience with this person, its not the first time they jump the gun and accuse others without merit. They lost my respect when they accused me of being part of that shit.
i completely agree.
while honest questioning and critique is good and healthy, it’s harmful to make false declarations of equivalence towards harms as serious as folkism. Which none of this was. no exclusion, superiority, nationalism, xenophobia, nothing of the sort. Highlighting to see, respect, recognize, love and appreciate peoples’ cultural heritages across the Mediterranean is good💖🫒

VERY TRUE! I’m part Cypriot Greek and value importance of all voices of the Mediterranean region that should be represented and respected!

When I say I am indigenous to the southern levant and that my people are indigenous to southern levant it is not a political ploy. It is actually a very deeply held part of my identity and part of the mainstream Jewish identity. Antizionists point out that Zionists used colonial language, which is true, but they conveniently forget that Zionists also called themselves indigenous. This is because
1. Jews originate in the levant
2. Jews know that Jews originate in the levant
Whether or not Israel was created (which it was) I would believe that Jews are indigenous to the levant. If Israel fell tomorrow I would believe that Jews are indigenous to the levant. If you held a gun to my head I would still believe that Jews are indigenous to the Levant. It has been a part of who Jews are since before the word indigenous was used in English discourse.
No, this part of my identity isn’t a ploy to remove Palestinian indigineity. As a population with a group identity that ties them to the land, who have heritage from the same Canaanites that I do, I do think that Palestinians are indigenous as well. WHO would’ve think that an area that has been ruled by more empires than I can count would have multiple populations who call themselves indigenous??? The levant is not like North America, whose indigenous peoples went without centuries of European contact before colonization. The levant has been being colonized for thousands of years. The indigenous population was split through this process and some were Arabized and some weren’t. Some were converted to other religions. Some weren’t. But regardless, when it comes down to it, that land is where we come from and where we are indigenous to - both of us. So fuck the Israeli government and fuck Hamas and Hezbollah and the Islamic Republic every party that is trying to keep the bloodshed going.
Also, learn history, because it actually fucking matters. Don’t choose a convenient date to start from - learn about people and their cultural identities and find out what is important to them. Because this isn’t just about Jews and Palestinian Arabs. This is about Yazidis and Assyrians and every group that is seeking freedom and peace in the MENA.

"The first most tragic story" so you don't think the Palestinians being killed constantly for a year is all that tragic. Ok.
There's actually no words to how ghoulish this is. Walk into a primarily Arab community to specify that her belief "a white life will always matter 1000× more than your dirty Arab lives." I don't understand what else it will take for you all to understand she's not doing this for the Arab-American community to vote for her. She doesn't care about the vote of 0.75% of the American population. She's doing this as a PR stunt for you to accept her as the 'liberal' candidate while barely even trying to hold back on the anti-Arabism in our faces. Well I guess she is liberal, in her slaughter of Arab children.
I’m still reeling. I am BEGGING “revolution not reform” leftists to actually come up with a plan.
I got into an argument yesterday on TikTok (bad idea, I know), because I commented that instead of coming up with an actual solution, a lot of leftists will choose instead to just argue and piss all over themselves, or use buzzwords or fall for propaganda. Of course that made someone upset. So I asked him, “What is the solution? You want a revolution, what does that look like? What are we going to do?”
After several rounds of pointless insults, do you know what his answer was?
“Organize.”
And when I asked him how we were supposed to organize (because that literally means NOTHING), do you know what he said?
“Google is free.”
The group of people that wants an AMERICAN REVOLUTION wants others to GO ONTO GOOGLE DOT COM and ask GOOGLE DOT COM how to overthrow the American government. As if that wouldn’t get my ass a knock on my door from the FBI immediately.
This is why people are not taking the idea of revolution seriously. It’s not that people don’t want a revolution, god knows we’re overdue. But the people that want to make it happen have actively no idea how. They’ve spent so long throwing around useless buzzwords that they don’t know what those words actually mean. You want to organize but you don’t know how to put anything together. You want community but you can’t even tell me the first thing about your actual real life neighbors. You tell other people to have a scrap of empathy but you have none yourself. And you think you can lead the people?
If you want to lead a revolution then lead.
There are people out there leading, but it's certainly not the people who have time to sit and argue in bad faith on the Internet.
The strategy for revolution is fairly simple - it's the execution that is hard. And you're right, many people (including leftists, but also many other people who are looking for some form of revolution) aren't doing the work needed to bring it about.
We do need to organize. There's all sorts of different ways in which people can organize, but there's a core piece that even professional organizers miss. Organizing requires the building of relationships. Real relationships beyond the transactional nature of most mainstream activism. It requires getting to know real people as they really are. It means building relationships with people despite their differences and trying to find common ground.
Organizing is useful in many different ways and can help people accomplish a lot of different things. What approach you take really depends a lot on who you're organizing against.
Personally, I'm most interested in organizing for basic material conditions. Right now, most people are afraid of revolution because they're dependent on a mix of the State and corporations to meet the basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, and medical care. If they bite the hand that feeds them, they're throwing away a bunch of safety for themselves and their families.
In order to make any other action we take meaningful, we need to follow the example of the Black Panthers and take those basic needs into the hands of our communities. We need to feed and shelter each other at the bare minimum and we should be striving to meet as many of our needs as we can through community instead of through the State and corporate means.
At the same time, we can apply pressure and demand more from corporate and State sources to force them to step up and take care of people or expose their agenda for what it is, weakening their hold on the populace.
But! We've got a long way to go on all of this! Americans are especially bad at having relationships with one another. We've deprioritized relationships in every part of our lives (including having relationships) and we've got to build up those muscles really quickly.
So, step one of the plan - stop arguing on the Internet and get to know each other as real people. Try to understand one another's perspective without holding your own as holy. Show compassion to yourselves and others and help each other when you can, especially in ways that don't involve currency.
We've got to stop fighting one another if we're going to survive all this.
to american tumblr liberals jockeying for Harris at the erasure of voices Palestinian, Cuban, Hawaiian and others disenfranchised:
when you libs disparage hopes for a glorious revolution, which you often place in quotes, can you explain how it’s not just a manifestation of racism against cubans? Cubans did have a glorious revolution. So first of all, F you for pretending it’s something impossible that never happened before and “not coming” F YOU. And before you jump to age old US propaganda, Cubans experienced a glorious revolution, and in the wake of US retributory economic isolationism then Cubans did suffer under the yoke of a reactionary cult of personality in direct response to YOUR own U.S. imperial aggressions.
You Americans owe it to Cubans and to the abused and disenfranchised EVERYWHERE to fight tooth and claw against the american empire. Just as that of england, this one will FALL. Flimsy professings to shut out justified voices of dissent against Harris (which would otherwise IMPROVE her campaign & administration) those efforts end up silencing, omitting, and shutting out the most important voices needed to be heard, and those actions are actively materially harmful.
ok please tell me your plan to get 300 million americans on board with a revolution in less than 3 months :)
cheeky :3 Please first explain to me how you RESPECT Cubans, Hawaiians, Palestinians, Congolese, Ukranians, Sudanese, etc AND how you implement the context and perspectives of their histories in the context of our own :3
answer that first and i’ll clue you in! :3
the vast majority of the people killed on october 7th were civilians in their homes or at a concert. also notice the giant stars of david on the tombstones. hmmmm it’s almost like this has always been abt them being jews bc y’all are rabid antisemites who have finally found a socially acceptable outlet for your bigotry!
This is a silly post. Many people who died on Oct 7th were victims of the Hannibal directive. They were killed by IDF soldiers.
And the giant Star of David is probably there because there a giant one on the Israeli flag. And IDF soldiers love plastering it everywhere so it's unfortunately become synonymous with them.
be so fucking serious rn.
new TikkunOlamResistance just dropped
TikkunOlamResistance wouldn't call it the Hannibal Directive, they'd call it Samson Doctrine, send their people after anyone who corrects them, delete the post and never mention either concept again if they could help it
who is this??
A guy standing in the middle of the street and getting hit by two cars?
I'm unlearning a lot of the propaganda that's been fed to us and I suggest you do the same

op turned off reblogs for reasons that will become obvious but i wanted to repost for the good rebuttal from @runawaymarbles
maybe someday twitter-brained reactionaries will actually open a newspaper and read it instead of just repeating whatever catchy phrase has been floating around the tankiesphere but i don’t see that day coming anytime soon. in the meantime please for the love of fuck do your due diligence before falling head over heels for reactionary garbage designed to enrage you rather than engage you.
The problem is that Israel isn't standing in the way of the delivery of food and aid to the Palestinians; Hamas is the problem. They refuse ceasefire after ceasefire and they steal the aid, the water, the food....and of course, they refuse to release the Hostages.
Wouldn't it make more sense to pressure Hamas with the cooperation of the surrounding Arab countries? Hmmm??
Hamas has offered multiple cease fires all of which were denied by Israel, America has offered several times to negotiate cease fires which were accepted by Hamas but not Israel. Israel is blockading aid, killing aid workers and gunning down civilians who try to accept aid, Israel is the problem not Hamas
spill that tea! piping hot!
