Quick Update

Hello all! I live. I needed to give myself a pretty long and hard social media break for - a bunch of reasons. Not sure how back I am. You will probably notice that I deleted my commission and prices post. Yeah, someone tried to hack my account. Badly enough I no longer have my PayPal account. So not doing that right now because do not want to deal with that again. I had gotten away from writing for a bit as well. Hoping to get things posted again. Need to log on to AO3 for first time in ages. Currently working on some independent writing more than fanfics. But first time I have felt up to posting in months - still not doing well with social media, but wanted to post here. I do live. And am not doing commissions or anything paid because - yeah, hacking, scams, fighting with banks because someone did that - not my idea of a good time.

every writer has that one cursed chapter that haunts them like a ghost. mine is chapter 29. chapter 29 knows what it did.

one of my worst writing sins is abusing my power to create compound words. i cannot write the sentence "The sun shone as bright as honey that afternoon." no. that's boring. "The sun was honey-bright that afternoon" however? yes. that sentence is dope as fuck. i do not care if "honey-bright" is a word in the english dictionary. i do not care if the sentence is grammatically correct. i will not change. i will not correct my erred ways. the laws of the english language are mine.

today i wrote zero words! but i did think about my story twice in passing. that probably counts for something

my creative process is 5% writing and 95% daydreaming about my characters like they’re real people.

Questions that regularly come up with my friends who have seen me writing.

"Are you yelling at the character to give back the story?" Don't get me started on that. A side character would not give my story back until I added a whole other chapter and a half. And they were right. A decade and more later, I am still not over it.

"Was that in this one or the other version of this story?" It comes up a lot, especially with ongoing plot bunnies.

"Putting the babies on the bus?" I get nervous any time I post or share works. This somehow ended up as a parent sending kids to school analogy that stuck.

"Is your brain braining enough to write right now?" I don't know what you mean. Just because it is 2 AM and I am drinking energy drinks while I try to heat up ramen while I am wrangling plot bunnies whatever makes you think this is not the best time to write?

"Which character was that?" Honestly, sometimes your guess is as good as mine is.
