personally, one of the hottest things lando’s ever done/said is “i’m not desperate. i wanna win but im not desperate for it. i know you want that little headline right there but im not gonna give it to you.”

yk what annoys me? people call lando arrogant about the lewis thing and max thing, despite the fact that he’s apologised for it quite publicly and quite often. however, these other drivers haven’t apologised when they’re being arrogant and no one holds them accountable. no one called max arrogant when he threatened to bash george’s head into the wall after lv last year. instead, everyone targeted george and made him a joke. no one called charles arrogant when he said maybe try in spanish. instead, everyone tried to justify it by saying that yeah carlos is from spain so he would have trouble with his second language as if carlos hasn’t spoken english for 90% of his life and doesn’t have more of an education than most of these drivers. no one called oscar arrogant when he said that f1 wanted the best person to win every weekend and at the moment that’s what’s happening, esp when he went on to lose the next few races. instead, everyone cries about the fucking monza switch as if that was the problem and not oscar’s fucking driving.

arrogant by definition means thinking you’re better or more important than other people. lando doesn’t even think he’s more important than his own team, forget others.

A quick Vampire AU comic of Carlos & Lando!

Carlos is a 200-year-old Spanish vampire who adopted Lando at 5, trying his absolute best to be a responsible dad... except he uses way too much fake tan and things get a little complicated as time goes by. 😭

They basically have a silent understanding between them. Carlos pretends to be a regular human to the outside world, and Lando never really digs into his secrets—after all, he’s happily enjoying the giant mansion and massive wealth of this ancient vampire (and boasts to everyone 'My dad’s got old money').

However, Lando hates that Carlos still treats him like a child. he love Carlos of course,so after turning 18, he actually went into that shop and bought something from there...
