josie: my first ever snow day
josie: aren't I supposed to do something exciting? That's what the movies tell me
josie: have you eaten today???
landon: that only works when snow days are something to look forward to, ie gets you out of something boring or awful, like school
landon: but you've only ever lived at yours so maybe you can't relate as much
landon: coffee creamer has calories

the expression magic had only started as a boost to help albie, she would do whatever it took to save her little brother from the pain he was enduring. she needed the edge to make sure she was strong enough to help him and strong enough in the eyes of their father - but somewhere along the way it had become much more than that. she needed it, needed the magic. slowly and bit by bit she had been orchestrating the magic and had just been testing it out by herself in the woods. it was a surge like she had never felt before, knowing that she could protect herself and her family against anything was the only reason she needed to keep doing it. as she was walking away from the area, which thankfully had no evidence of such magic being practiced she looked up when she saw another. ânow i thought i was the only creepy one who spent their nights deep in the woods.â humor was always her cover up.
đ„ â âreally?â he wasnât going to let the comment slide, not when it was that sloppy of an excuse. âin mystic falls?â that being said, he had one of those faces that made the people around him think he was gullible. out of the loop. whatever she was trying to get away with, well, technically he couldnât stop her. would he even try?  âfruitful night?  or was it more routine?â
thefiercepierceâ:
Katherine turned and looked at him for a second. âWait, youâre bird boy.â She realized. âArenât you a unique one.âÂ
đ„ â He was used to name calling, so he doesnât bother to defend himself against her. Bird boy was pretty tame anyway. âYeah, I get that a lot.â Landon didnât know if he wanted to get into it, but there was something about her attitude;Â âWho are you supposed to be?â It wasnât cold or aggressive sounding, just a little confused, squinting at her.
thefiercepierceâ:
âRightâŠ. because events in Mystic Falls always go sooo well.â Katherine was only showing up in hopes of spending more time with Nikolai and learning more information that could be helpful in defeating the Necromancer. âIâll take that, thanks.â She grabbed a drink from a passing youngster and brought it to her lips to sip.Â
đ„ â âI was.. still drinking that.â Landon didnât put up much a fight, especially after seeing the look on the womanâs face. It just wasnât worth it. âYouâre welcome, I guess,â he added.
hiraethiismsâ:
@landonelyâ âthis party would be so much better if there was food. hot dogs and hamburgers sound incredible right now, donât they?â maybe it was her own fault for not eating before drinking but hey, sheâd get some takeout on her way home.Â
đ„ â food hadnât crossed his mind, not before the girl had mentioned it anyway, but she had a point. âyeah, why isnât there food?â a fair question. ânot like lizzie to just miss a detail like that.â but it was all in good fun.Â
elliexcampbellâ:
âThanks.â Ellie nodded. âI get what you mean.â She nodded a second time. âI forget too. When I look in the mirror I just see me.. an average girl. I forget that everyone else looks at me and sees a resurrected witch. It must be even weirder for you, being the only phoenix around here.âÂ
đ„ â âItâs not much different than being the unknown. In retrospect, uncompellable human made more sense.â He was a riddle everyone wanted solved from day one. At first it made him feel like an imposter. This other that was just weird enough to not fit in anywhere... He was still that, technically, only it was less about not being. No, he was special, special, special. âI see an average girl,â he told her. âI think we can be both. Special and just us.â
fairwxtchâ:
âPhoenix?â He knew different creatures were real, he hadnât realized this boy was one of them. âInteresting.â
đ„ â âYeah, thatâs what they say at school too. Itâs a whole thing.â
xbigbadwxlfâ:
âWhat? I canât say hello to my daughterâs⊠friend?â Klaus was probably being overprotective, wanting to get to know those who spent time around Hope, but that was just in his nature.
đ„ â Ouch. He didnât know why it hurt, he was âover itâ by now. But there was something about hearing it from him that made it hit different. âYup,â he said with a nod. âHopeâs friend. Whom you can say hello to whenever you like.â An apologetic air to his words. âWelcome back,â he added, genuinely happy for him and his daughter.
sageandfairâ:
âYeahâŠyeah if I could help people the way I wantedâŠit would be so much easier. I don't want to learn it the hard way.â
đ„ â âWell, you donât have to, because weâre talking about it now. Right?â He spoke encouragingly. âThe hard way is overrated.â
#i just love this boy okay
blairxbitchâ:
âI do, actually.â It wasnât a lie, at least, in her own mind. Death seemed like a bigger deal in her own mind than the egotisctical necromancer, but perhaps it was because she was the one dying, how would she ever know. The answer had been offered with a deadpan expression on her face, and her arms crossed in front of her as she looked at the funky phoenix. âSomewhere far far away from this dumpster fire.â
đ„ â Now that didnât surprise him. âOkay,â was all he had to reply. Penelope had her agendas, and her priorities, too. The way her scales weighed werenât like his or anyone else he knew. Even Hope. âItâs that a particular place or are you just, going.â It was a pretty tempting solution to the problems, wasnât it? To just run. It made his stomach knot up just thinking about it.Â
xbigbadwxlfâ:
âAh, thatâs right. Landon.â He gave the boy a smirk. âI intimidate you.â He said, noting the boyâs behavior. ïżŒ
đ„ â âA little, yeah.â Surely there was no wrong in admitting it. He swallowed, attempting to stand up straighter. âWhat can I do for you, Mr. Mikaelson?â
fairwxtchâ:
âI am.â Kane confirmedïżŒ. âHow about you?â The boy didnât seem like a vampire, Kane could tell he want a witch. Kane nodded. âYeah, it was a family trip.â Kane remembered the week before they left. Kane threatened not to go if Sage wasnât allowed.
đ„ â âOh, phoenix.â He confirmed the answer with a nod. âItâs a long story.â At least Sage had her family with her, he thought. If the trip really was her escape from everything.
