About my World of Darkness NPCs

In some strange city there is a Research Facility, which is ran by the Inquisition. It studies all kinds of paranormal activities.

There work 2 NPCs, which are the villains of the chronicle. Their nicknames are Director and König. Hiding real names is an important part of the security protocol for any worker.

After players defeat them, König becomes a vampire against his will. And Director disappears for some time.

But now they have returned. And this is the story from their point of view.

As I've previously said, I've changed his clan from Toreador to Malkavian and it affected pretty much everything in his design.

Recently I've ran my first VtM v20 one-shot as a Storyteller. It was very fun for me and my players, I've learned a lot. I've understood that I need to manage in-game time better, because my players turner a small "find an ancient Tremere book" quest into a 5-hour adventure.

Sick Dreams

When König is nervous he often sees disturbing dreams. To accidentally harm Cornelius is one of his worst nightmares.

(I decided to give Cornelius orange spots instead of black, because König likes sun-themed items and because orange helps the rabbit stand out more)

There is something charming about a villain who is a truly good pet owner.

A note from Professor: "Cornelius deserves the best nutrition. Anyone who gives him a carrot without my permission will end up on my operating table."

Professor

A scientist who worked for the modern inquisition was turned into a vampire, but decided to stay with the inquisition out of spite.

Doc

"Doc" and "Professor" are nicknames they used to annoy each other. Over time, the nicknames turned into a local joke, and now they are often used instead of the real names of Doc and Professor.

König went from Toreador to Malkavian. It was not a planned change, but he looks happier this way.

Mages are biologically different from humans. So, even though they live side by side and look almost the same, they are different species. It wasn't always like this. Magic appeared as a result of a mutation in some individuals, and with each generation, they became increasingly different from their ancestors.
