the neurodivergent experience is thinking youâre sharing fun, interesting or helpful information in a normal human conversational fashion while they think youâre an asshole lecturing them or looking down at them like theyâre stupid and also that no matter how many times you have this experience you always think youâre doing it the right way this time
i hate pessimistic takes on human nature so much
saying humans are inherently bad just excuses you from doing the work to improve yourself and the world around you. saying humans are inherently selfish means there's no reason to even try to make things better. and for some reason people think these are radical takes, that they're being smart or philosophical by saying humanity is doomed - these are not new takes. you're just catholic.
you have to believe that people are inherently good. you have to. why have hearts if not to love, hands if not to hold, minds if not to dream. you can't ignore love. there's some good in this world, mr frodo, and it's worth fighting for.
night time is for listening to really good music, warm showers and impulse texting the person you like
babe if youâre reading this i miss uÂ
im tired i wanna go home to you
someone stole the stars from the sky and put them in your eyes. they shine like theyâre happier to be there
i want the simplest things with you
WALKING CONTRADICTION
Artistic yet logical. One foot firmly on the ground, the other rooted in fiction.
Somehow everyone and no one.
Wants to understand EVERYTHING but doesnât like reducing things to the very numbers and figures that explain them.
Hates many aspects of humanity. Wants to save humanity.
Loves the idea that people are capable of change. That everyone deserves a second chance. Yet will often cut people out of life when a pattern doesnât change. May not even open up to new people at all if they sensed there was no potential for that relationship from the first encounter.
PeacekeeperâŠuntil an injustice is committed. Will step into the ring for another, but not themselves. Sometimes too emotionally torn between doing what is right and avoiding conflict at all costs.
High-strung perfectionist and laid-back daydreamer.
A romantic and idealist who understands the irrationality of these ideals and often comes to expect disappointment.
Desires structure and order, but values freedom in routine and life choices. Especially in creativity.
An old soul with a childâs eyes.
An easy acquaintance. A difficult person to get to know.
Solitude is a haven. But always searching for that human connection, for someone to simply understand. To do for an INFJ what they do for others.
Almost always feeling guilty about something they did today or ten years ago. Even if they did nothing - they feel guilty for being unproductive.

Advice to a Younger Introvert
- You donât have to be academically inclined or some intensely deep thinker to be an introvert. The world isnât neatly divided into bookish loners and party animals. Some extroverts love books and ideas, some introverts donât. Donât feel you have to be Van Gogh to âmake upâ for being an introvert.Â
- Introversion comes with both strengths and weaknesses. In some fields it gives you advantages, in other fields disadvantages. It is not an excuse to avoid developing social skills.
-Think of socialising like exercise. Too much will exhaust you, not enough is bad for your health. Schedule socialising into your timetable.Â
- Also, like exercise, you dread doing it before you start but once youâve gotten into it you start to have more fun.Â
- You run the risk of isolating yourself when youâre sad/on school holidays. The problem with isolating yourself is you donât always realise youâre doing it, or realise the damage it does to your mental health so if you get sad/tired/irritable and you donât know why, it could actually be a lack of people. Itâs a balancing act, but as you mature, it gets easier to balance.Â
- Socialising doesnât mean you have to go clubbing or make small talk. Quality time with friends and family, one-on-one, counts. Invest time in a few relationships, pay attention to them, nourish them until they blossom.
- When it comes to socialising, either explain to your friend itâs a one-on-one thing or specifically plan something that only two people can do/something that canât be expanded to more people without prior notice, like cooking dinner or playing video games. It sucks when people bring along someone you donât know without telling you first and leave you feeling left out. Third wheeling is not your friend.Â
-If youâre at a party and youâre overstimulated by loud music/bright lights/crowds/chatter, donâ t lock yourself in the bathroom for long, but maybe save some time recharging by switching the lights off in the bathroom and taking deep breaths, like an improvised floatation tank.Â
-but donât forget to lock the door, otherwise people might walk in and wonder what the hell youâre doing standing in the dark.Â
-When it comes to class participation, quality counts as much as quantity. Donât fret if youâre not speaking a lot, so long as what youâre saying is concise and useful to class discussion. Teachers do actually notice these things.Â
-If your voice isnât loud, that doesnât mean people wonât listen. If what you have to say is valuable, youâll get more attention than you think.Â
- Public speaking is a necessary evil, but it gets better with practice. Introversion neednât stop you winning that oratory prize.Â
- Introversion is about being differently social, not anti-social. Remain polite and courteous. Holding the door open for people is a nifty habit to get into because it allows you to show respect and concern to others without you needing to talk.Â
-If you want a book about introversion, by an introvert, Quiet by Susan Cain is a psychological treatise, a history, a biological explanation, a sociological examination and a defence all rolled into one.Â
do you ever meet someone and youâre just amazed that such a kind and pure soul could exist on this planet
Nothing, nothing. Emptiness. No way for words to fill it.
