when i first made my tumblr, my username was a hadestown reference (yournameislikeamelody) but then i realized that i was literally only posting byler content so i switched it to match my content
What’s your current comfort media?
right now, it’s the owl house. i’m in the middle of it right now, and i’m pretty sick (100.3 degree fever this morning) so i’m just binging it. other comfort medias include gravity falls and strangely the hunger games.
Song you’ve had on repeat this week?
the i love you song from the 25th annual putnam county spelling bee. it’s a musical i’m in right now (i play olive!!) and it’s the most amazing song in the show aaannnndddd i get to sing it :) if you feel like crying because of child abuse this is your song. (kidding. kinda. just trust me and listen to it)
What’s the last thing you hyperfixated?
since i’m not actually diagnosed with anything (there’s way i’m just neurotypical tho lol) im not sure i can officially call it a hyperfixation, but it’s definitely byler. it’s literally the main thing in my thoughts since january 1st (??? usually they only last like a week and a half butttt not this ig lol). the only other time it was this bad is when i got into newsies… that was BAD lol, i still love the show though :)
What oddly specific thing brings you joy?
…writing poetry? it’s really odd because i almost never read it, but writing it is super fun.
wait i have a better one- when my friends call me their wives :) we had like this whole wedding on monday that we’ve been planning since… like… september? but it finally happened and i got to wear a suit!!! i had to literally smuggle it out of the house in the bottom of a tote bag lol, but i got to wear it :) also the reason we had this wedding is because either me or my friend V proposed to each other and then everyone else got married as a result lol- anyway i love my wives.
What smell instantly makes you happy?
mint. i’m not sure why, i just really love mint.

Are you a morning person, night owl, or something else entirely?
100% night owl. ofc i have to wake up at 6:00-6:15 AM to get ready for school, which starts at 7:35 in the flippin morning~ i’m scared for next year because my dad (a teacher) is gonna start driving me next year and i have to be at school by 7:15! and the start time is later than this year, so everyone else gets more sleep… ughhhhh i’m really not looking forward to thissss
