Still a little bit sad I’m not at the FFXIV Fan Festival in Berlin… but it was soo expensive and I would have had to go by myself… still, finally somewhere I could go…

I try to keep remind myself that this is most likely FOMO because au do not like crowed places and conventions….

I actually follow the “Disney gargoyle tag“ and still had to actively search it to find any news… I really have no idea how tumblr works…

But now I‘m wondering, what is this bonding about? I only watched the show and read the Dark Age and Demona comics, but bonding with the hatchlings was never mentioned, as far as I can remember, and seeing that Angelica seemed to have bonded with Demona without problems, I feel like I’m missing something…

Was there something else mentioned in the other comics?

(still waiting for me Quest comics, my guess is they will be shipped with the first new issue…. Which is fine and probably will save me some shipping costs… but still… all that wait….)

My toxic fandom take is that I think that it's awful how much we can talk to creators and get answers from them word of god style. We should be out here in a godless place rooting for scraps of lore in the media like truffle pigs out in the fields

Ugh! Love this! Demona saying goodbye to everything she's ever known, everything she can never have back again. She'll carry the sorrow and pain for both of them, for much longer than even she can imagine now.

I have a question... If gargoyles do not kiss... Then why is Demona doing this gesture?

Ok yes we have seen gargoyles kiss in the series and comics by joining the mouths, but it was explained that they were imitating the action from humans... So if they are in fact imitating "lately"... Then this is a mistake, and more for a character like Demona that absolutely hates everything that has to do with humans

I always thought that kissing just wasn’t this common show of affection like it is with humans, since kissing isn’t really doable for all the Gargoyles, or at least not that easily done, when your mouth is more in the form of a beak. But not something they never do…

if it really was something they only copied after getting in contact with humans, it would be weird for Demona to do it, unless since it seems that the Wyvern clan had been in contact with humans for some time now, it didn’t feel like a “human” thing for her anymore? And she isn’t directly kissing him on the lips, so maybe that is considered a human thing, but kissing someone on the forehead isn’t?
