@lapetitepink

piiiiiink!
These are the kind of baby gifts made by folks on the Signature team: Bean Booties by our design assistant Meagan. (Taken with instagram)
how cute are these?? i will definitely have to try to knit a pair if anyone i know ever has a baby. dx
it really IS super easy to use QVC's iPad app!!
how do I know?? I just ordered something by accident on qvc's iPad app!! by doing what I thought was "logging in", I actually just bought the item. uhhhhhhh
okay granted the button says: speed buy, I thought there would be at least one confirmation page before actually submitting the order. sigh* I just ordered an old lady lee sands eel skin coin purse: http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx?view=2&app=detail¶ms=item^A94492,frames^y,from^se,cm_scid^isrc,cm_ssi^Item:%20A94492&cm_re=PAGE-_-SEARCH-_-A94492
I admit I've had my eye on it, but def. didn't mean to buy it!! I just hope it's actually nice in person and not too old lady ish so I don't have to spend money to return it. boo. I also admit I'm kind of secretly excited. BUT I SWEAR IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!! [ x
cup and saucer in my wedding colors. spotted at an antique store in Maine!
spreading holiday cheer.
merry christmas!! :D
love when my mum preps the pomegranate for me. :D
gilt finds
i think i've bought one thing on gilt since i joined many months ago. i check it almost every day to see what they have, but i just can't get myself to buy their supposedly "discounted" things, when they're not cheap at all.
example: why is this cake $80?
oh, and i saw this on their "taste" section:
at first, i was like: ooh that's cheap! and, i admit, it got me scrolling through to see if there was anything i wanted. but upon second thought.. DUDE, if you're going to charge me $80 for a CAKE then you might as well give me FREE SHIPPING. how dare you make me even pay a nickel??
gilt.. you have yet to pleasantly surprise me.

anybody want to pledge with me??
i love seeing random things in my wedding colors. :D

love it! if only more guests would abide by these rules..
help me find this ring! (or something similar to it)
once in a while on qvc, they will present bras from breezies. i usually just turn it off when they present bras, because i don't buy my bras from them (or anything, really.. hehee). but the other day i was watching pm style with lisa robertson when kalina gendel was presenting a bra from the barely breezies line. specifically this bra. and i saw the rings she was wearing on her right ring finger. i tried taking some screenshots via their website, but they're not great quality:
from what i can tell, they're two rings each with a charm on them. i believe the one closer to her knuckle is a heart charm while the one underneath has a circle. i love this!! i wish i could find out where it's from. i definitely want one for myself.
so i searched around and i found a few look-alikes, but none that are perfect for me. here's one from tiffany:
we all know tiffany is overpriced, and i would rather it didn't say tiffany on the first tag and rather that tiffany blue be pink.. hahaa
found these on etsy:
(via christienano) - i don't like the "unfinished" look.
(via jennijewel) - love the locket, but don't like that it's wire.
(via kookime) - love the look of the gold, but it's vermeil, and don't really want a gemstone
(via NetaJewelry) - this one was the most similar, but don't like the "tarnished" look. also for $287, way out of my budget.
i'll keep looking.. or maybe i'll settle for the tiffany one. ^.~ which is so in my budget (yeah, right, at $200).
new obsession: plaid
my new obsession was most likely brought on by L who has many a flannel shirt, and makes bow ties with cool plaids, too. i want a refined version of a typical northeastern rugged plaid shirt jacket. does that make sense?
here's the "classed up" traditional look from llbean signature:
a whopping $189. if all else fails, i may try it. but i fear it will make me look frumpy.
i was at the brooklyn artists and fleas last weekend and spotted this vintage plaid jacket. it looked so cute on the rack - i LOVED the plaid!
tried it on:
not bad? but..
too big.. boo ) : i even tried it on twice in hopes that the jacket had miraculously become smaller around the shoulders. oh well.
the hunt continues. will i ever find anything that suits me?
do you think that's enough bologna for a sandwich?? hehee I LOVE BOLOGNA!!!!!
bought a handsewn notebook today from a vendor at brooklyn artists and fleas - another work in progress. i love the modern twist on the retro composition notebook, and the attention to detail. can't wait to start writing in it!
the pies are cooling on the windowsill.. ( : happy turkey day!!
