We haven’t learned much so far but last year there was a video where we learned that the Gaia Temples were built by a civilization called the Gaians, who are the oldest major civilization on Sonic’s world after the Ancients, and the new Chaotix audio drama revolves around a set of their artifacts. This audio drama is where Tangle and Whisper made their voiced appearance, since the DLC characters in Crossworlds don’t have voicelines
