ok so spock/kirk is like. the oldest ship ever, okay? they invented slash fiction. these guys pioneered fandom as we know it today

in the last movies they made with those original characters, they were separated into like. alternate universes. okay. these guys were never gonna see each other again and it was very sad and tragic and the fans were kinda sad about it but it is what it is.

then. they made a short film. right. like 8 minutes long. of kirk reuniting with spock. on spocks deathbed. and kirk holds his hand, and they look off into the sunset together.

they got to be reunited. they got to be together in the end. they got their romantic ending i swear to god im losing it.

if it helps. imagine if in 50 years time, they released an 8 minute video of old man dean winchester going to the empty and saving castiel and then they sat on the hood of the impala holding hands and watching the sun set. thats what its like. you see how insane that is??? do you get it???

Summary: When Wei Ying falls into the Burial Mounds, he’s rescued not by the Yin Iron, but by a strange, twisted creature who heals his body and slips into his mind. Now ridden by Lan Zhan, a bodiless creature ignorant of human customs and brimming with the desire for revenge against the cultivators who threw his mother into the Burial Mounds, Wei Ying has the power to take down the Wen sect for good– if he and the creature can learn to work together. (Or the Venom-inspired canon-divergence Untamed fic no one asked for.) Mojo's comments: Ah, I love this author so much, they write like poetry and the plots are always delightful. In this one, wwx falls into the Burial Mounds to be inhabited by the polite and curious Lan Zhan, who really REALLY wants revenge for what his mother went through. Wwx is a little squicked, but quickly gets over it, and the two learn the synchronicity only they could create. The dialog is hilarious (but required excerpts larger than I thought would fit). Excerpt: There was no pain comparable to hitting the ground and splitting open, bones shattered, organs rent, red blood spilling across the gray, tainted ground. He waited for his qi to knit together what was broken, before remembering that he had lost it. He could feel the warmth of the blood trickling out of him, warm and soothing where everything else was painful and cold. He couldn’t even tell if his eyes were open; perhaps there was nothing to see here, in this graveyard of bones.

my biggest headcanon is that liu mingyan doesnt wear her veil around her brother because, duh, he's seen it all before and liu qingge really doesnt get it??? in his mind, he admires the effort and dedication put into honing your strength and skill in battle rather than features you just get lucky to be born with. he hears people bemoan how they'll never get to see liu mingyan's face and wonders what's so special about it???
