She stood there, seeming to wait until she got his attention, but her presence did not seem to rush him at the slightest. Miguel took a deep breath, taking one more moment to savor the NAUSEATING yet intoxicating smell of the cigarette he had lit in between his parted lips, before he threw it out to RETIRE. This was the only time he’d have to take a break during the day, to let his mind drift away from responsibility, to admire the brilliant orange hues of the setting sun. AND YET HERE SHE WAS.

He knew who she was, but why she wanted to speak to HIM OF ALL PEOPLE, he had not an idea.

“...Can I help you ?” Albeit slightly irritated, this was not discernible from his UNREADABLE features nor the COOLNESS of his voice. “If you’re lookin’ for ALEXANDERSSON,” he absentmindedly let out a sigh. “I’ve not even the slightest clue.”

Hola, friendo’s! If you have liked my starter call, I’ll be working on them for the next few days, just so you guys know that I haven’t poofed again and am trying a bit harder to be more consistent this time. Replies will be slow at times, but I will try to get back to them in a decent timeframe. :’)

Just some things to be expecting from papa in the upcoming days/couple of weeks:

✔ Updated bio. I’m going ahead and tweaking elements of his backstory because I’ve always thought that Namco has never done a good job with it at all. I’ve always been trying to work with the canon one in my portrayal of Miguel, but I can’t seem to use it while keeping his character consistent with the way I want to portray him. Therefore, elements of his backstory will be considerably off-canon from now on, albeit neither his motivations nor his canon story changes much afterwards. I’ve just want to rewrite his backstory in a way that justly expresses the gravity of his loss at the hands of Jin, why he’s so intent on doing what he does.

✔ I will be revising obsolete headcanons, since I am attempting to focus on trying to write him consistently and iron out the derps in his portrayal (which I think I have a better hand in, fortunately!).

✔ Relationships page will be revised to accommodate new characters or relationships that have progressed.

✔ If you asked for one, your starter, ofc. c:

✔ Replies

✔ Tags will also be edited and will incorporate characters that my boy interacts with.

✔ Some verses will be edited or completely deleted altogether.

I’ll tell y’all when those are done!

In the next few weeks ( or months ), Migs’ blog will be undergoing a clean-up/redecoration. Threads/starters will be attended to in a gradual manner.

Oh, and in the meantime, you guys can find me on my new ASUKA blog. Please be nice to my princess/future daughter-in-law. c: I’ll probably split my tumblr time 50-50 between the two, depending on who I have more of a muse for; that way, at least I’ll stay more active here on tumblr. :)

If you guys are curious, it’s because Asuka and Miguel are both equally my favorite characters, yet I’ve never attempted to even do anything for Asuka? X’D I know I ship her with Migs, and I’d like to see their potential interactions together. Nonetheless, I am also interested in how each character develops with other characters, independently of each other.

In this account ( the verse that this Asuka will live in ), they’ll be friends, however, just to clarify. Like, I don’t want to ship them together. That’s like writing with myself lmao. To clear things up, he’ll just be the shady guy that she likes to hang out with a lot. That’s it.

Also, meanwhile, if you guys have any critiques/suggestions on my portrayal or ideas that y’all would like to see come out of this blog, feel free to send them in! I’d really appreciate them! :) I’m always looking to improve.
