Hey guys, I've been wanting to get into BJDs for a long while and I think I'll finally go for it but I have a few questions before I buy anything.

I've seen a lot of dolls on websites like wish, aliexpress, Amazon, etc. and I know they're what's called recast and I wanted to but legit but I don't have the money to get the full version of the doll I really want, so I was going to buy the head and match it with a cheaper body from a different seller. The question is, is this okay to do or is it something that's looked down on, and on that note will bjd heads even fit on bodies that aren't of the same brand?
