Erin absolutely kills it on the red carpet for the premiere of Arrested Development's final season for Netflix. Enjoy!
Watch Erin in action at Jill Soloway's (my girl crush) premiere of Afternoon Delight.
There’s a heat warning in Los Angeles today. And now it’s about to get even hotter with the newest episode of LA Stories Podcast. Today’s guest is actress, writer, comedienne, and host of the award winning web series Hot on the Red Carpet, Erin Brown. I first met Erin at ITV Fest in 2010 where the drop dead statuesque blonde interviewed festival participants on the very special red bathmat that has made her a regular on the larger red carpet for Hollywood premieres and celebrity events throughout Los Angeles. Erin tells us how she made her way from the Garden State to the City of Angels, how she hit the ground running the minute she got here, and how she continues to steam up the city with her hilarious red carpet persona that is THE preshow interviews to watch. Find out her favorite celebrities she’s interviewed, the folks who didn’t seem to “get it,” and who Miss Erin Brown would like to have a steamy love affair with when you listen to Episode 11 of LA Stories Podcast!
Watch back to back episode of Hot on the Red Carpet on Erin's YouTube Channel and find out more about Erin and upcoming shows on her website.

Your happy Friday is about to get happier now that you can listen to actress, writer, and extremely well adjusted comedian Nadya Ginsburg on LA Stories Podcast. Ginsburg is a fierce delight who will undoubtedly make you fall in love with her within minutes of listening to this episode, especially if you're a woman. She's spent her career making us laugh by personifying hypnotically strange and equally fantastic personalities (I'm talking about Madonna here, folks), and most recently travelled around the U.S. in her show Madonnalogues. Her on the nose impressions of the Queen of Pop and ever evolving rotation of characters, including my all time favorite Cher, makes her a force to be reckoned with and to constantly be enjoyed. Find out what it's like being a Jewtalian in Hollywood, who seven dollar Joan is, and in what situations Nadya can't give but will receive. And if you've been dying to know the plot to the 1999 romantic comedy, "She's All That," then this is certainly the episode for you.
Find out more about Nadya on her website, join her on Facebook, watch her on YouTube, and follow her on Twitter!

To find out when they're performing and all other dates, be sure to like their Facebook page.
On episode 9 of LA Stories Podcast, the very busy, extremely talented, and absolutely unhateable (unless you’re a very tall woman) Craig Anton joined us on our extremely hot North Hollywood couch. Anton is an actor, writer, comedian, and teacher who has been a part of the Los Angeles landscape for the last twenty years. An original cast member of MADtv, Anton shares with us his journey from Nebraska to New York to Los Angeles via the comedy touring stage, and gracing television with his rich performances for the last two decades. Anton has picked fights with David Spade and Chris Farley, he’s received warm and fuzzy hugs from Quincy Jones, and continues to perform regularly throughout Los Angeles at a multitude of comedy venues, as well as part of the band The Tulsa Skull Swingers. On today’s show, Anton reveals his secret obsession, teaches us how to make dying funny, and tells us about his journey from MADtv to his latest role on television’s favorite, Mad Men.
You can learn more about Craig and his Comedy Academy on his website.

Today’s guest is mighty tall, Michigan born, and my dear friend Evren Goknar. Evren is an accomplished musician, frontman for the band Evil Maria, and a Grammy award winning mastering engineer who has spent the last three decades thriving and surviving in the Los Angeles music scene. With wisdom and humility, Evren tells us about his unexpected journey into employment at one of Los Angeles’s greatest landmarks, Capitol Records, and what the Viper Room was like before it was the Viper Room. Goknar has worked with the likes of Kiss, Carole King, Mariah Carey, and my all time favorite band, The Smashing Pumpkins. If you love music, then this is the episode to listen to, as Evren’s twenty five year history in the City of Angels is rich with stories and encounters with some of the world’s greatest legends, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney included. You will also find out which old school crooner hit me with a bathroom door at Capitol Records, and why everybody loves a bunny.

Fitness, fake tans, and plastic surgery are synonymous with Los Angeles. Stories of frozen faces, fake boobs, and Venice’s historical Muscle Beach are a dime a dozen in this sometimes fairytale land. That’s why I was so moved to have actress, writer, and creator of the YouTube sensation Fat Rant, Joy Nash, on today’s episode. Joy has always been steadfast in who she is and the perception of her body, which by Los Angeles’s standards, is not 90210 cookie cutter thin. She’s voluptuous in both body and personality, and tells us the touching inspiration behind her Fat Rant videos, chats with us about the million different ways acting breakdowns define “fat”, and how it has become a calling for her to be a representation of real women on television again. Joy is hilarious and simply inspiring. By the end of this episode you may find yourself irresistibly telling your neighbors exactly how much you weigh.

After a week away celebrating one of my dearest friends' wedding, LA Stories Podcast is BACK. In tomorrow's episode, I get to sit down with the incredible Joy Nash. Joy is an actress, writer, funny lady, and creator of the cult followed, "Fat Rant." Listen in to hear about Joy's journey to L.A., her incredibly popular YouTube videos, and for a healthy discussion on body consciousness and perception in Los Angeles.
Already a fan of Drew Droege? Then you've probably seen his latest Chloe Sevigny video, "Pets." Never seen Drew Droege's portrayal of Chloe Sevigny? Well, then enjoy the hell out of it. You're welcome. (I had nothing to do with it. I'm simply accepting your gratitude for showing it to you for the first time.)
Enjoy!
In this episode of LA Stories Podcast, we are joined by actor, writer, director, comedian, and impersonator Drew Droege. This will feel like the shortest 45 minutes of your life because Drew is a hilarious and wildly entertaining storyteller. Drew tells us a thing or two about growing up and his multitude of confrontations with bees, as well as his transition from being a "serious theatre actor" to the brilliant Groundlings trained comedic actor he is today. He discusses his litany of odd jobs, the wretchedness of waiting tables in Los Angeles, and surviving off of other people's heroin addictions. Finally, Drew discusses the origins of his most famous impression of actress Chloe Sevigny and spending time on Hollywood Blvd. as Tinsel Town's own mascot, Angelyne. Drew is wonderfully inspiring, always funny, and gives us some intriguing insight into his incredible work ethic and, lucky for us, his necessity to constantly perform.
Be sure to follow Drew on Twitter for a constant flow of funny.

On May 5th, The Unusual Suspects Theatre Co. celebrated their 20th Anniversary with a beautiful Gala in Downtown Los Angeles. Students, teaching artists, mentors, volunteers and supporters of The Unusual Suspects enjoyed performances, awards, and silent auctions to honor and support all past and future work of their amazing organization.
The Unusual Suspects just recently celebrated their 20 year anniversary with a wonderful Gala at my personal favorite historical art deco building in Downtown Los Angeles, The Oviatt Building. Please enjoy this video featuring a few of many celebrities that support the arts and services that The Unusual Suspects provide for the community.
