Imagine Baymax learning about valentine's day. Only the person who explained it to him forgot to mention that it was about ROMANTIC love. So Baymax tries to give everyone he knows valentines because he loves most of the people he's met platonically. (He does not like people who attacked his friends. )
Oh god, I’m just picturing Baymax walking to the supermarket with a handful of money (he requested an allowance from Aunt Cass so he could buy things for his friends and she was so amused she just handed him $40 and sent him on his way). He’d walk right up to the shelves of valentines and quickly get confused because which ones does he get? The Power Rangers ones look like the rest of the team, but there’s also a box of Barbie ones that remind him of Honey Lemon. And does he get the ones with chocolates? Or stickers? Or should he get chocolate separately?
After about ten minutes of watching Baymax just stare at the valentines, a store employee takes pity and walks over to offer help. Baymax shoves his money into the employee’s hands and asks how many valentines he can get for that many money. The employee, completely bemused but thinking Baymax is adorable, starts asking questions, trying to figure out exactly what Baymax is looking for. They talk back and forth for several minutes and finally the employee helps Baymax pick out a few boxes of valentines.
By this time they’ve drawn a bit of a crowd, who are all helping with the selection process. Baymax ends up getting a few boxes of Power Rangers and a box or two of Disney Princess valentines, because he feels those have an acceptable variety of selection. The little group heads towards the checkout, and Baymax pays for his purchases (the cashier may give him a bit of a discount because they’re all so amused by the whole thing)
When he shows up back at the cafe with his boxes of valentines, Aunt Cass nearly chokes. But she agrees to help him sign each and every card and put them into their tiny envelopes, because Baymax’s pudgy fingers can’t handle the delicate work. It takes her the better part of an afternoon, but it’s all worth it to see how happy Baymax seems to be with his valentines.
She hands him a bag to carry his valentines in, and then sends him on his way to deliver them, shaking her head in amusement. It isn’t until she turns back to get back to work in the cafe that she notices the envelope that’s been left on the table. When she opens it up, there’s a Disney Princess valentine inside that says “Have a dream-come-true day!” and at the bottom in very shaky script is written “BAYMAX”.
