the woods are full of beauty.
Vienna, Austria (October 2018)
I just realized that more than 100 accounts are following this litte blog of mine - thank you all so much!!! :)
the magic of fire and steel (...when i tried to forge a sword for the very first time and ended up with a small dagger and a kitchen knife instead)
light and shade.
"The May sunset was red in clouds, and there was still half an hour to twilight. The dry slope was dotted with rabbits - some nibbling at the thin grass near their holes, others pushing further down to look for dandelions or perhaps a cowslip that the rest had missed." (Richard Adams, Watership Down)
Many years ago I read Richard Adams' "Watership Down", started drawing my most favourite scenes and then forget about it. I found this sketchbook only recently and it makes me feel nostalgic. Some part of me wants to pick up a pencil, ignore university duties and continue immediately! :D
there is so much beauty to be found in the wilderness of the mountains. be it the smell of fresh clean air, the breathtaking views or the handfuls of wild berries - whenever i head for the great outdoors i feel gifted. i wonder if this is what magic feels like.
