Seemed a normal day in Metro. It would have been a normal day in metro, but a large forklift deciding to attempt to be in the next Tokyo Drift movie changed all that.

It happened so fast. The cyborg thought he was safe on the sidewalk… bit no. One of the large very heavy crates on the forklift goes flying mid drifting maneuver and hits the Captain dead on causing to fall off of the side rail and down to the lower level. Not only that but his head had detached and landed near another object headed cyborg nearby. The badly damaged screen slides to a stop and bumps her feet.

Meanwhile 1010’s manager lays motionless (and headless) on the Metro Division floor. His systems are restarting from the shock and doing basic diagnostics protocols in the meantime.

She was done work and still mentally debating what to do with her free time. No fanclub obligations meant she could do anything! The world was her oyster and things were going swimmingly... until they weren't.

The man that landed a short ways in front of her was not unknown to the girl. Nor was the screen that had bumped into her 4-inch platforms. That was Neon J, 1010's manager and despite not being a charter her #1 favourite. And that was his head at her feet.

Wait...

"OMG! Omgomgomgomgomgomg!" The stream of abbreviations comes out rapidly as she takes in everything before her.

Her first thought is panic. He was headless and unmoving and oh god did she just watch her idol die?!

No. No. Calm down, she thinks to herself, stopping her constant yelling in order to focus. Breathe you big dummy, you have so many factoids about this guy in your brain so think!!

Right. Just like she could, he could live without his head. It being cracked and at her feet wasn't a problem... If he survived the fall in general. He was made of tough stuff that she knew of, so maybe he was fine?

Step 1... what was step 1 in this case? Was she supposed to pick up the head or go to him or both? Both. Both sounded good.

She's shaking as she kneels and picks up the damaged head, trying not to think about the fact that this was the head of her idol because that would definitely distract her. After the monitor is safely cradled in her arms, she jogs over and stops just shy of the prone cyborg.

"Ummmm.. Mr. Neon J, sir? Captain?" Oh good start. A+. She kneels near him, but hesitates then. She didn't want to poke him and startle his systems if he was in the middle of diagnostics or something.

"If you can hear me please say something. I'll take a groan or anything really. You can ramble about your troops like someone high on pain meds if that helps."

This.. was a disaster.

A sound byte of a party horn goes off as she opens some mail. A present wrapped in gaudy paper is on the table and the card she opens is just as obnoxious. Parents, right?
