Let me be honest with you for a moment. I rarely love my writing. The words swirl in my head for too long, festering. By the time they hit the page I don't like them. In fact, I very often dislike them. It might seem odd that I would want to write, when I so rarely love what I write. But here's the thing. I have to write. If the words stay trapped inside, I'll go crazy. But let me tell you something that is wonderful. Someone loving your writing for you, when you can't. When they step in, and fall in love with your chsracters, and read your writing even when it is lame. When they love what your write, and not just because you wrote it; when they love it for what it is. Oh, I can't even begin to say how wonderful this is. Hey you, the ones who have read my scattered words, and loved them, who fell in love my characters like they're real . . . Thank you. You know who you are, and I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate you. Sometimes, having someone love what I write is what makes it all worth it. .
