Well I've already said a lot in the previous ask but something I forgot to mention is that I hc that Hornet can swap between crests and spells at any point, it's just not an option for players for game balancing purposes.

In a similar vein to the sticks somehow becoming bugs I've thought about Hornet and other HK/SS characters becoming stickfigures and exploring the Outernet. This likely won't be a part of the proper au like the turning into bugs thing but it's honestly pretty fun to imagine these guys in this situation (Phantom has been especially fun, their and Lace's dynamic too).

As for the actual au, some smaller interactions would be; Yellow and Hornet being engineer nerds, Red and Hornet taking half of Pharloom's beasts hostage for cuddles, Purple (if she's there) helping Hornet achieve her childhood dream of flying, music session with Green, therapy session with Blue, spar therapy on being overpowered higher beings with destinies they don't want session with Orange. Chaos with Hornet's tools at the beginning. Spar with Shakra. Kratt juggle.

Also I think it'd be cool if the color gang got to fight Hornet as bosses and get their own journal entries, rather it's a playful spar or one of them pissed her off I have yet to decide. I've even thought of the idea of ⬛⬛ versions of the cg, since Garmond unfortunately proved to us that you don't need to have silk in you to become ⬛⬛⬛⬛

On that note, I was thinking that the second half of the main plot, the conflict basically, would be ⬛⬛⬛ accidentally discovering the ⬛⬛ and that's when the cg get to fi⬛ h⬛ ⬛⬛ v⬛⬛si⬛ ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛ ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛ ⬛⬛

If I find the motivation to keep drawing I could do more. I already have a lot of ideas, though I'm wondering if I should include Purple or Chosen (since this takes place years after s3). I also have the fun idea of the sticks somehow getting turned into HK style bugs but I doubt I'd properly add that to the au.

Some stuff I already thought of;

•Alan takes a break from playing and the sticks take this opportunity to jump into the game and play a bit, and maybe help him out a bit because this game is hard (basically the start of the au).

•After a quick introduction, Hornet realizes the cg don't have weapons and goes around Pharloom to grab some, but not before leaving them with her unused 49 tools for them to test out and pick which ones they want to use. The weapons are as shown in the previous art; a skarr clawblade, one of Atla's needles, a sewing needle from Whiteward, Phantom's longpin, and a choir clapper mace. Red uses the Beast crest and silkspear as his spell (but never uses it), Orange uses the Reaper crest and silkspear as well (and actually uses it), Green uses the Wander crest and either sharpdart or cross stitch (I can't decide which but definitely a high-skill spell), Blue uses the Shaman crest and pale nails thread storm (or cross stitch) and rune rage, and Yellow uses the Architect crest, if Purple joins the party then she'd use the Witch crest and scissor blades (I'm not sure which spell she'd use, especially since you're almost disincentivised on using silk for anything but heal nukes). I'd have to think more on which tools each one would use.

•The starring plot would be the cg helping Hornet with the act 3 wishes while she focuses on the hearts. So one stick checks on Pinstress, one goes to the flea festival, one hunts the void masses, one fights Gurr, one races Swift, and one beats up emo Trobbio. Probably by then someone got the craw summons so Crawfather could also be on that list.

May or may not also be obsessed with Hollow Knight just as much as AvA and have thought about an Animation vs Hollow Knight/Silksong for a LONG time.

I need to work on the HK artstyle. The lines are way too thick and I probably could have gotten away with it if I had made it colored but I honestly hate doing line art.

Anyway enjoy Hornet taking a nap for the first time probably in centuries.

Mer Alan au that I kind of got the idea for after watching H2O mermaid adventures

Sounds interesting but due to... life... I'm really not in any mood to help make another au.

Something that does immediately come to mind though, Alan is hyper-overprotective of Orange, who sneaks out to visit the surface and finds the color gang. Any other specifics idk, this is basically the beginning of the au.

Been thinking more about the werewolf au and here's what's new.

•Alan's wolf is absolutely massive. The other hollow heads are also bigger than normal but nothing compared to their dad. And his monster form is even larger. Like, a wolf kaiju. He can make his forms smaller but given the high emotions that usually come with transforming it's unlikely he can manage that. Even still his smallest wolf form is too big for the house. This is one of the many reasons why he doesn't like being a werewolf. Of course, nothing matters anymore when it comes to protecting his pups.

•Vic and Orange's powers work like alternate personalities, there're no signs that they have any until something traumatic happens that brings them out. For Vic it was Alan's abuse, and Alan gave Vic the same fears he has about his own powers to his son to keep him under control. For Orange it's the same as canon, the Showdown, watching his friends and now also his parents die to Dark's virus, with the additional punch to the gut being that Orange actually got to know Dark a bit when they were younger. Chosen and Dark's powers work the same as canon. Alan's powers are the same as in my Stick!Alan au; animation, pyrokinesis, levitation and telekinesis. He hates his powers as much as his wolf and as a result they both tend to come out at the same time.

•Alan is a nonspecific wolf. Idk if there's actually a giant fire wolf in some mythology, I didn't look it up. Vic and Chosen are pitbulls, Chosen is a longhair. Dark, as of now, is a husky. Orange is [currently a mix of various mythical dogs (I plan on making an updated design for him)]. I'm still looking at other mammals for the color gang (assuming they also become werewolves) but as of now, Red is an orange maine coon, Yellow is a raccoon (curious, clever, and have "masks" on their eyes like glasses), Blue, as of now, is a [fox], Green, as of now, is a bat (they have diverse chirps like birds). Tbh I'm not completely sold on the last two. Blue is a little tricky for me to figure out but I think I got it, and I'm trying to avoid animals that would make the stick similar to another creature (a dolphin would make them too similar to a mermaid, a seal/sea lion would be too much like a selkie, and of course a bat would make them too similar to a vampire, but to a lesser degree), but I'm thinking of making a small exception for Green since out of all the mammals bats are the most musical, and him being able to fly while also being the closest to Purple creates an interesting dynamic to me.

•other creatures besides werewolves exist, Orchid and Purple are sirens, for example. Purple is half siren (so more like a mermaid, there's a difference here), allowing her to live both on land and in the sea, but was born without the magic sirens normally have. She still loves the idea of flying (which is why I think it'd be an interesting dynamic if the guy she's crushing on can fly).

•the Newgrounds attack doesn't happen in this au but Chosen and Dark after running away still cause chaos that butterfly-effected the world. They would intentionally scare and sometimes (Dark) attack people in their monster forms, which led to people hunting all creatures out of fear, resulting in many stickmen being falsely accused and killed alongside innocent creatures (by vigilante hunters, not the government, just to be clear). One of those innocents was Mitsi, who had Vic's werewolf scent on her.

I'm still thinking of other things for this au so if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.

Werewolf au art

Maybe. I still have some avian au art qued up and I'm currently working on a Halloween sub icon for the Alan Becker subreddit (they're opening it up for the artists) so it might be a bit but I've definitely got some ideas

Congratulations, you have infected me with a brain worm and I'm now thinking about this werewolf au (also my current projects are mini comics and this is easier to draw and get out).

Alan doesn't like being a werewolf and tries to stay a stickman as often as possible. Orange likes how fluffy his fur and tail are and stays in this form most of the time. And Red is still learning how to shapeshift. Orange is very confused why Red's a cat (maine coon) and not a wolf/dog when every other werewolf he's met (his family) were canines. He thinks he bit him wrong.

I've been thinking about the story/lore for this au and so far I've come up with;

Alan was a teen dad (don't ask me who the mom is) and had no idea how to raise kids, let alone werepups, and often took his anger out on his kids. Victim and Chosen were born first and are twins (general headcanon of mine). Vic was abused more physically while Chosen was abused more psychologically with neglect. Vic tried to run away multiple times but Chosen, who didn't want to be alone, kept bringing him back, promising to try to take some of his abuse but ended up being too scared to do anything when it actually happened. Dark came along and became Alan's golden child who'd intentionally get the twins in trouble because he knew Alan would never punish him. Vic ran away for the last time, Chosen tried to bring him back again but came home empty-handed. Alan started hitting Dark afterwards but Chosen still got the majority of his abuse. Alan mellows out once he starts properly adulting and meets Kaori. They get married and have Second and now Dark is officially no longer the golden child. After a few years of this (long enough for Sec to remember his siblings) Dark runs away and Chosen follows him as well to try and bring him back but never returns. Even with Second, Alan feels like his nest (den?) is empty and so is more than happy to adopt the four stray stickmen his son found in the playground. He wants to try to find his other sons and apologize but decides they are better off without them (I wonder if that'll bite him in the tail later). I imagine the color gang still find a way to play with Minecraft and have their crazy adventures. They still befriend Purple, who I'm thinking could also be a creature. Maybe not a werewolf but a vampire or a siren, or some other human-presenting creature. And then of course there's the background plot of Red trying to get Second to bite him because he wants to be a werewolf too. When it finally happens he has trouble shifting and maintaining his animal forms and his first full moon is brutal (as it always is with newborns).

Yeah now I’m thinking that Karoi not sure if I spelled her name, right figuring out a few things Alan did in the past and maybe giving him a bit of a serious talk and then go to meet the rest of the hollow head since I’m pretty sure they’re technically part of the family and also I think karoi would get excited to hear that she basically has a daughter-in-law since victim might be engaged married I don’t know to mitsi Alan daughter would definitely be surprised to hear that she has a lot of older brothers and I think at least one of the hollow heads will need a lot more time to process that information that they have a little sister maybe dark or a victim or both I can also see the hollow heads being really protective of their little sister even dark because I think she would have a similar color or at least one close to red I also see some cute adorable things going on like some of the stick sleeping together and Alan or karoi taking a picture I can also see Alan eyes lighting up at times

Welp time to ramble about stick!Alan.

I'm not sure how much Kaori canonically knows about the sticks but in my au Alan has shown her and their daughter his "computer pets" and they know that they're sapient. She also knows that Alan had other stickfigures before they met and that they "ran away" because of how he treated them (he was dodgy about the details out of embarrassment). She still had no idea that the Outernet even existed (since Alan didn't even know about it back when he was explaining all of this), or that every animation that has ever been created is sapient, or that it's even possible for humans to have their consciences transferred to the digital world and into stickfigure bodies (without the use of vr). Not even Alan, who's about as much of a stickfigure expert as a human can be, knows how this happened. Alan gets it in his head that this is retribution for how he treated his sticks in the past, but there's no evidence for that, just his brain trying to rationalize what the fuck is happening.

In my au the Beckers remain on their own for about a year before Alan finally runs into Orange during season 3. He gets a job at Rocket (Vic doesn't know his animator's real name is Alan, he thinks it's Noogai. Alan also doesn't know this is Victim) and about a month before Wanted happens Vic offers to promote Alan to help the mercs with the chase since he now has powers as a stickfigure and Vic wanted to give him a proper opportunity to use them. (Also Alan is face blind when it comes to sticks. Every black hollow head looks like Chosen to him and he quickly learned to not ask someone if they're The Chosen One because they get offended by that. He was also told they were hunting The Angel of Death, not The Chosen One, so Alan had no idea he was hunting his own son until Orange was thrown into his gun's crosshair.)

After all that and season 3 has wrapped up then the Beckers and the color gang can finally hang out. Their kids and the cg would definitely get along well and try to invite the oldest on their adventures but both Alan and Kaori shut that down due to how dangerous their adventures can get (also they're still not used to being way more durable than they were as humans). They would invite the cg over to their house, even though it's not meant for like 10 people, so they can get to know them better. Orange would be overjoyed to have his dad back after a year of not knowing what really happened to him. Chosen, assuming he lives, would probably go live with the Beckers since he really has nowhere else to go (tbh I kinda want him to stay powerless. I think it's a good punishment for him), Alan would do everything he can to try to mend their relationship but obviously it's going to take a very long time. At least he gets along with his little siblings. Things at work would become very awkward. Alan would of course try to mend his relationship with Vic as well (again assuming he lives) but unfortunately he'd rather pretend that Alan didn't exist. I'm not sure if I would have Alan quit his job for Vic's sake or if he'd still try to fix things with him. He'd definitely at least try to tell Vic how proud he is of how much he's built on his own (which Vic actually loves hearing, even if he won't admit it). Alan and Kaori love Mitsi, they love how sweet, caring and smart she is and think she's a great role model for their kids. As for Dark, he's dead, I don't see a world where he lives and is friendly with everyone and he lives happily ever after as an ex-terrorist. Even if he did get to meet his little siblings I can't really see him being nice to them, at least in the current universe, in an au where everything was fine from the beginning and Dark was a nice guy then he'd be a much better big bro and teach the kids robotics. He'd still be a troublemaker and mama Kaori would be dragging him by the ear into the living room for a nice scolding quite often.

There's a lot I can say about what I have for this au but then I'd be here all night. I'm still thinking of what Kaori's color should be. The first time I heard of stick!Kaori she was a yellow color (which is the one I'm currently running with) and another fic had her as a magenta so some ideas would be helpful. Their oldest kid is confirmed to be a pinkish purple (an AvG vid back when Alan first became a dad showed a pop-up of his hollow head stick avatar holding a full head baby of that color), so there's that. I'm also wondering how many powers I should give Alan here. Currently he has animation, pyrokinesis, levitation, and selection (hacker's telekinesis) (he learns them in that order. This also doesn't include his passive powers like enhanced strength and speed etc). Idk if I should take something away or add more or if it's good as is.

I'm open to suggestions.

Ha that’s funny but yeah but I was also thinking if the characters from the main animation versus animator series were to end up here how would they react to the toon logic and I definitely think it would be funny if Alan and maybe his family somehow ended up there and the color gang and Alan family meet and it’s a bit of awkward especially since he’s got explained what’s going on to his family I definitely think his daughter would be happy that she has some older sibling that definitely would be a shocked color gang I can even imagine one of them fainting

Do you mean the other hollow heads? Vic would probably be freaking out with King. If Mitsi is there she'd either be trying to fly with Purple or experimenting with Yellow (albeit ethically). Chosen would be apprehensive at first but might let himself have some fun after a while. Then there's Dark who's absolutely reveling in the consequence-free destruction and chaos.

As for stick!Alan, my version of the stick!Alan au is a bit different from others. It's, as you said, him plus his family becoming stickfigures. It's an amusing thought placing them in a Looney Tunes world on top of already getting isekaied into a cartoonish world. Poor Kaori did not sign up for this when she married an animator. The color gang would have a blast with the Beckers at least. And Orange would be the best big brother in the family.

Poor king but still very funny and I still wonder what their first tune logic thing or slapstick thing would be because I like the falling from the great height thing and coming back OK and maybe leaving a hole in the ground shaped like them or maybe if you wanted to make stuff up, you can get a little bit crazy funny tune logic because the first time they interact with a Looney Tunes character and realize they have the tune logic too cause that would definitely be interesting and poor king I can also imagine his heart showing through his body if it can every time he gets a mini heart attack

I think each stick would try something different. Red would probably try to do the most dangerous thing he can think of like riding a comically large firework into the sky. Yellow's first personal experience with cartoon logic would probably involve an ACME accident, I can see him poking at everything in the warehouse and hitting a lever that drops a piano on him or something. Green and Blue I feel would also be more accidental than intentionally putting themselves in danger. As for Orange he would probably try the painted tunnel trick he tried to do with the cartoon stick he drew that one time. And Purple would either try to fly by flapping her arms or try to exploit the gravity-doesn't-work-until-you-look-down trick.

Darn it just from reading the Looney Tunes animation versus animator ask I’ve got me curious on how the characters from animation versus animator would react to the slapstick stuff and tune logic cause I think yellow would be curious blue might have an interesting reaction orange curious I’m not sure green maybe try to stay calm but would get excited too red I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets really excited What do you think and I definitely think it that if we’re including other characters besides the color gang I’m not 100% sure maybe wanting to explore or excited to be with his friends like I said I’m not 100% sure 

Assuming the toon logic applies to the sticks as well, Red would immediately go full on cartoon and start doing all the stupid and dangerous things he's always wanted to do. Blue I think would be a little apprehensive at first but would join in on the fun once he realizes it's safe. Yellow would spend half the time wondering why these toons can take a point blank shotgun to the face and survive and spend the other half experimenting and pushing the limits of the world (most likely using Red as his willing guineapig). Green and Orange I imagine would be a mix of the others' reactions, questioning the safety of the situation then letting themselves have fun. Purple would probably be acting similarly to the Aether episode, just bouncing around and letting herself be a kid. Meanwhile King is having a heart attack every five seconds because of these crazy kids.

Yeah, I was also think that the cartoon logic and slapstick stuff would affect them as well because the Looney Tunes movies do say that a human can get affected by the slapstick and cartoon logic a bit or a lot. I’m not an expert so yeah, I definitely think it could happen and also what do you think the color gang would do if you had to do a story over line and what characters would you include and I’m pretty sure you can also add stuff if you wanna like if you wanna add an OC or a new location in one of the world I’m pretty sure it’s OK. It’s just your way of building out the worlds but basic of this is what would happen and what antics would the color gang get up to

I'm not sure if you're the same anon I just answered, but I'm not really that interested in making this a proper au of mine. I agree that it would be an amazing piece of media though

I’m pretty sure Looney Tunes is in the public domain so if you wanted to make an au of animation versus animator x Looney Tunes that’s your choice so if you like making a animation versus animator, Looney Tunes crossover story you can it’s your story I’m not sure about laws but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t stop people from creating art or fan made stuff

If other people want to do that then all power to them but personally I'm not very interested in drawing that. It does sound like a fun idea definitely

Also would be a funny side story to make because I can imagine the color gang making a lot of friends and just getting into some of the silly antics that happened especially how silly if a fight starts cause I remember seeing one animation where orange had a hammer I think it was a short but this would definitely be something good if you want just to make something silly maybe even add a Looney Tunes oc if you feel like it

Animation vs Looney Tunes would be amazing though it'd be very difficult, if not impossible, for it to happen mostly because of copyright. That's not gonna stop the fans though

I can definitely see the cg having a blast with the slapstick and cartoon logic of the Looney Tunes (assuming it gets applied to them as well).

An orange cat, as in the extra crazy kind of house cat. There might be a kind of wild cat that is just as crazy but for now that's what Red would be.
