I'm here with the first wip photo of the new set and new theme I started working on! This time, my idea is a little mix of different styles, and I’ll try my best to explain what I’m aiming for. It seems like at the start of every summer, I get into a really Mediterranean mood, I mean last year at the exaxt same time I made the Mediterranean build set. :D
My idea started a little different than this but I can't help it, I just feel really inspired by this style. So I mixed my original idea with the Mediterranean style.
I originally wanted to do a boho-themed set with multiple parts, similar to the Cozy Cabin Collection, but I felt like it needed something extra and I wasn’t sure what that would be. I knew I wanted to include nature and maybe even gardening.
Then I came across all these beautiful images from Mallorca and Ibiza, and they featured so many rattan furniture which I had already planned to make for the boho theme. That’s when I decided, I could blend the two styles and create a Mediterranean-inspired set with boho elements. And of course, gardening.
These sets will feel very personal to me, like most of my CC, they reflect things I’d actually love to have in my own home. The subtle Mediterranean vibe, the cozy boho touches, and all the plants, I feel that's what I'd love my future home to be.
I promise this first set won't be only doors and windows. :D I know that’s not the most exciting stuff, so I’m planning to combine them with a patio set and include some furniture you can actually use outdoors. I also want to create a gardening table or whatever it’s called in the game. :D
I thought it could be a fun idea because most gardening CC I’ve seen tends to be farmhouse-style, which I do love, but I think it might be interesting to see gardening items in a different aesthetic.
Thank you for reading this long ass post! I hope you're excited for this new theme, cause I plan to make a bathroom, kitchen, living room for sure. And I’ve also been thinking about possibly making new bougainvillea plants—because let’s be honest, the ones in the game just don’t do them justice! I absolutely love them in real life. I see them everywhere around here and they’re just breathtaking, like something out of another world. And then... there are the in-game ones. They would definitely fit into this first set, but I actually have something else planned. So if I end up making them, it’ll have to be a little later. Still, I wanted to throw the idea out there, let me know if you’d be interested in seeing new bougainvillea plants.
