hey cassie! this is really random but recently i reread city of heavenly fire and at the end of the book, when magnus gives alec the notebook with the story of his life in, it says theres an inscription in the front starting with "dear alec ... " and i just really want to know what the rest of that inscription says and was wondering if you ever wrote it? thank you, i love you and your books so much, they mean the world to me💛

Dear Alec, I once told you that you were not trivial. It broke my heart that you would think so. I should have known then that one day I must tell you this. It was never your fault that I didn’t talk to you about my past. Centuries are not easy to speak of, and they were not easy to live. There have been people I loved who thought that because I laugh so that I don’t weep or break, that I was trivial. There have been people I loved who learned more of me, and thought I was evil incarnate who must be destroyed. Hey how are you ? Little question, since you also answer non-Naruto questions, do you ship VegeBul from Dragonball? If so do you have any fav. moment between them ? Hope you have a nice day :)

I do indeed ship VegeBul, they’re my 10th favourite anime couple of all time. As for some of my favourite moments between them, the vast majority of them are just when Bulma and Vegeta are sharing some banter or casual conversation, because in my opinion, they have the most entertaining relationship in the series, bar none. Their back and forths never fail to make me laugh, ever.

Some of my favourite examples include…

The very first time they were teased as a couple. Vegeta’s hilarious reactions to Bulma referring to him as “homeboy”, and then calling him “cute” were so entertaining to watch:

Another example was when Vegeta takes a shower at Bulma’s place, and their bickering was typically hysterical. Quotes like “The female species… Such an enigma…”, and “Servant woman, bring me a drying cloth at once!” are obviously golden! But the cherry on top was when Vegeta finds out that Bulma left him a pink shirt, because his reaction was again absolutely priceless! “What in the…? Is this some kind of joke?… These garments that you left, are they for a man or a woman? They’re pink!!!”:

This was of course followed by the revelation that Bulma had dreamed about Vegeta treating her nicely, and even sharing a kiss with him. They were really going in strong with the VegeBul ship teases during the early Android Saga.

Another example was when Bulma was helping Vegeta train by having him stand on top of her plane as it was flying, and she got competitive about making him lose his balance. But Vegeta was amusingly just completely unfazed, regardless of the tactics Bulma used to stagger him:

Another one of my favourites has to be what Bulma herself described as a “lover’s quarrel”. Vegeta not giving a damn about Whis having lunch with his wife, Bulma getting upset that he didn’t even pretend to give a damn, and Vegeta’s legendary “Yeah sure fine babe, is Beerus here?!”:

And of course, Goku’s epic (and impressively accurate) imitation of Vegeta’s “My Bulma!”, leading to both Vegeta and Bulma blushing, the latter describing her husband as her hero, and Vegeta later encouraging her to give Goku some more of her signature slaps!:

Vegeta and Bulma just have so much chemistry. Their bickering and banter is amongst the most consistently entertaining things in the series, and while the heartfelt moments are also good - Like Bulma worrying about Vegeta as he was training too hard in preparation for the Androids’ arrival, or Bulma learning about Majin Vegeta’s sacrifice - It’s their casual dialogue that shines the brightest.

A busker plays music for a blind autistic girl sitting in a wheelchair. She’s being allowed to stim (flapping and rubbing her shirt) and respond to the music her own natural way. The busker places her hand on the guitar to let her see what is creating the music, and she smiles as he sings to her. They made a connection. That is autism acceptance. Take note. Many autistic people will open up to you like a flower if you gently connect with them in ways that work for them instead of forcing them to connect with you in ways that only work for you. I hope that sweet kid grows up to be a musician or artist! :)
