Make a cake just like the Curtis boys!

FOR THE CAKE;

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 2 cups sugar 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 3 large eggs ¾ cup vegetable oil 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat your pans with cooking spray. Mix the cocoa powder and 1 ½ cups boiling water in a medium bowl until smooth. Mix in the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Add the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 30 to 40 minutes. 

FOR THE ICING;

¼ lb. butter ½ c. cocoa 1 lb. or 3 ½ c. powdered sugar 3 oz. hot water

Mix the butter, cocoa, ½ of the sugar and 2 ounces hot water extremely well in a bowl. Add the rest of the sugar and hot water. Mix well until smooth and spreadable

Now you have a Curtis brothers chocolate cake!
