No…should I? I really don’t know what to tell him. It’s a side of him, I’ve never seen before. What if he wants to break up with me?

“Hey, he doesn’t want to break up with you. I know Nick almost as good as I know you. Maybe he’s stressed or something. I really do think you should talk to him first and then you’ll guys will figure it out.” It was making Lauren sad, seeing her friend like that. But she knew that eventually everything will be ok. She pulled Nina intro a hug and smiled “You guys have seen worse. And you got over it.”

“Okay, I’m sorry. But yeah, you are going crazy. What makes you think there is something wrong? Did he tell or do something?”

I don’t know. No, he didn’t do anything. It’s just…he’s really nervous lately. I feel like we’re growing apart and I don’t know what to do.

“You obviously are going to force me to listen to the whole thing, so yeah..pizza helps somehow.” Lauren said, shaking her head. 

“What is it now? Family problems? Boyfriend problems? Hair problems? Your hair kind of looks bad, today.”

My hair is…it’s…it’s not a hair problem, Lauren. Please, be serious. I think there is something wrong with me and Nick. I don’t know what exactly, but…there is something. I feel like he doesn’t feel the same way about us anymore. Am I going crazy or…

“I was having a good day, but you most certainly are determined to change that.”

When she asked for a RedBull, he said: “I’m pretty sure we have some left… Give me a second.” Nick went behind the bar where they stocked up their drinks and found some RedBulls. He took one and brought it back to his friend. “This one’s on me,” he said with a smile.

Lauren really didn’t knew why it looked like such a big deal, he was her friend and she enjoyed spending time with him and she was sure that he sometimes really was getting bored here and he could use some company .“Anytime.” she said, looking at him. "You sure?” the girl asked, opening the can and taking a sip. “Thank you, Nick...” she said smiling.

I think I have an idea—that’s kind of how you look. Look, Lauren, it’s really nice you want to keep me company but if you want to head back home… I wouldn’t want you to pass out of tiredness. [he frowns]

"No, don’t worry. If I go home I’ll fall asleep and it’s too early anyway...I don’t want to wake up at 4 am, wondering what to do.” she explained and smiled at him. “Don’t worry, I’m fine...though I really will love you forever if you give me one RedBull. Maybe it will help.” Laur said, shrugging.

Lauren put her hands on her face and closed her eyes for a second, trying to get at least 2 seconds rest. Though it was a bad idea,cause she fell asleep at the public transport when she last tried this. “Poison...’ the girl answered, looking back at her friend. “You have no idea how tired I am.”
