I’m going to be adding my art on here more!
Okay so this was the second painting I did in my advanced drawing class. I know that sounds silly but I was allowed to paint for advanced drawing. it took forever and a day because this is the first semester I ever painted. I've got loads more to up load this summer so hopefully I won't be neglecting this page so much. This is oil paint on a regular old canvas but the skull and flame are acrylic. And I threw in some progress pics because why not!
this is just a compiled gif of all of my self portraits, I might take this down, I'm just posting it here currently to see how it looks
Another portrait from figure drawing! This is actually my friend gabby! It took probably 30 to 45 minutes! And yes it sort of tiny :) Charcoal and pastel on toned paper.
This was part of a figure drawing project. I drew my facial features at different angles and pasted them onto a blank face. I ended up forgetting to take a pic of the final piece before I turned it in. I don't actually know how long this took me. I started at 4 in the afternoon and finished maybe at 6 in the morning? But I don't have the face bust thing I drew for it here too. Graphite on white Stonehedge paper. Time: too long.
Another figure drawing! Haha different model this time! Really digging portraits recently! She was wearing a flower crown and that was surprisingly fun to squiggle out :) Charcoal on white paper. Took about 50 minutes.
Another portrait from figure drawing! It's the same model but as you can see I drew him fairly differently. Ah the struggles with the face. This took about an hour and a half. It's white and black charcoal on toned paper with a bit of pastel smudged here and there.
We did this today in figure drawing! Took an hour and then we moved on to other things. Done with charcoal( black and white) on gray paper.
Part 2 of the music video series! Again this is made with black and white charcoal on Grey paper. Took about 40 minutes!
Part of a series for intermediate drawing! We had to adress themes in a music video so I went with Iron by Woodkid which is a really cool video. I'll post the others soon! 4 hours give or take, charcoal on Grey paper
It's another part of that series! The subject was up to us and I decided I needed practice with texture so whip cream and glass it was! Also I went with sweet stuff made from sour citrus for added fun. It's colored pencil on navy paper
Part of a series I did for my intermediate drawing class! I'll post the rest of it soon! I used colored pencil on navy blue paper. I didn't take note of how long it took me to do sorry!
Sorry it's been a while. I've been forgetting to snap pictures of my work. Anyway this is from figure drawing Took about an hour or so Done on toned paper with charcoal pencils
So I've started inktober late but better late than never! I used micron pens and a white gel pen
More of the eyes I've been working on They're all done with charcoal pencils.
I have to fill a sketchbook for figure drawing and the halfway mark is monday. Guess who has 10 pages out of 35 filled? Ha ha ha.. I'm not going to sleep.
