And you really can’t tell me than Descole pretended all the time. That in all the weeks (probably months) he and Raymond travelled around the world with Layton, Emmy, Luke and Aurora he didn’t feel a single genuine emotion, that he wasn’t really horrified by the traditions in Eolyand, or slightly worried when they found all the adults asleep in Oniribad (he was actually the one who first suggested to abandon the researches in order to help Amid), or offended by Amanita’s comments about his hair.

You can’t tell me that he didn’t grow attached to Aurora even a little, that all the reactions, all the comments he made during the game were simply the result of an elaborated deception, a play he created.

You can’t tell me that Desmond Sycamore is the persona and Descole is his real personality, or, well, you can, but I won’t believe you.

It still kills me that Descole truly thought he was going to die after saving Luke’s life in the Azran sanctuary Imagine how much pain he was in, how much pain he’d gone through to that point. How he thought he failed, and asked his younger brother, as he was dying, to finish what he had started, even though Descole wanted Hershel to have nothing to do with the Azran and Targent That’s a lot of emotion and pain that Descole went through at the end, only to be brought back from the death that he had completely accepted at that point
