The thing with Jenna is, she’s done some shit. Shes made problematic videos and comments in the past and I’m so glad she addressed it and apologized and took the videos down so no one else can find them and be hurt by them. And while I don’t know Jenna personally, from what she shows us she seems like she’s truly grown and learned from her mistakes. She just wants to Do Good and Be Good and as someone who suffers from extreme anxiety, I can’t tell you how much it hurts to watch all the apology videos she’s made (the fish video, the dog car seat video, etc) because I can tell how anxious she is over doing something that isn’t all the way good. I know she needs a break, time to herself to just live and be and I wish her all the love and joy that she brought me.

Jenna Marbles is one of if not the best example for growth as a person. She holds herself accountable, her apologies are genuine, and she uses her massive platform to promote not only positivity but injustices around her.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t heartbroken to see her possibly leave her channel, but to walk away from a YouTube channel with over 20 million subscribers is strength and true accountability. I’m in awe.

I’ve heard nothing but positive stuff about Jenna and how she’s changed from her problematic days and yet people still keep doing this shit. Meanwhile there’s 3 weekly threads on how Shane Dawson keeps being the scum of the earth and yet he still gets stanned and defended. Fuck you. Y’all ain’t slick

People can change, they can acknowledge how they’ve fucked up, and work towards becoming a better person. That’s what Jenna did. Her old problematic stuff is bad, it sucks, and she’s acknowledged time and time again that she’s changed and worked towards becoming a better person and it’s shown through her content. This fucking sucks and I hope she’s doing ok

life gets so much better when you realize that there are no rules. you don’t have to get your license at 16 if you don’t want to. you don’t have to date anyone in your teen years if you don’t want to. you don’t have to move out in your early 20s if you don’t want to. you don’t need to go to any social gathering that you’re not in the mood to go to. and you don’t owe anyone an explanation. sometimes you don’t wanna do something just because you... don’t wanna do it. that’s it. live your life how you wanna live it.

I think the fast paced society we live in currently has brainwashed me into thinking i can upgrade myself and my life just as fast as when i restart my computer or phone. I have forgotten the natural cycles of life… how the moon takes her time to be full or how the crops take their time to grow their fruits.
