TEREZA MAIN CHARACTER AU HERE WE GO! It's just in points because last time i tried doing a summary i ended up with 2k words without even getting to the true beggining.

• Theresa and Henry were really good friends who she would sometimes join while he trained
• Theresa stayed for the cutscene where Ištván and Racek crash in on Henry and Martin making the sword, she laughs when Henry fails miserably at swinging it and Ištván tells her to try as well (snarkily, he wants to make fun of her), and she quickly shuts him up with her skills, afterwards she leaves
• the DLC happens as we know it
• while Henry is recovering at the mill, Theresa checks on him in the middle of the night and finds out her last still alive friend/family she knew from Skalitz has died (obv others survived too but she doesn't know that yet)
• she spends her mornings and nights watching Bernard train the soldiers (and Hans) because it reminds her of her time training with Henry and she desperately wants to not feel helpless, so when nobody is around, she swings the wooden sword a bit as well
• Racek notices, obviously aware that Henry died and keeping an eye on Theresa, seeing she has a spark in her and needs to do Something with it or she will go crazy, so he tells Bernard to train her
â—‹ Theresas main motives are helplesness, she feels like she could have done more and that her underestimating herself got her family and Henry killed, so she wants to be strong and be able to jump into action and save anybody she can to save others the emptiness she feels
â—‹ Racek also tells her Henry was his son, and after that she feels a sense of obligation and loyalty to him, so she promises to get his sword back and to kill the asshole that killed Henry
○ This way i think she has a direct reason to want Tóth dead in later story, being the chief of the bandit that killed her best friend, and also having the sword her friend helped forge that she promised to return to a grieving father
This is just how it would start! Theres way more, but the story as it is in KCD would stay mostly the same, only shifting a few dynamics around.
I'd love to hear your thoughts, questions or ideas about Theresa being the main character I'm going insane.

Theresa could have been the main character and nothing in the story would have had to change and I have an AU in my head to prove it except Henry dies while recoverig at the mill, but yk, small changes
