It’s morning and I’ve had more time to think about this

The turtles are weapons capable of wielding each other (out of basic necessity) until they meet April, a teen who has only just discovered that she’s a meister after getting attacked by a witch and getting rescued by the turtles. Kraang are still an issue as well as The Foot Clan, so maybe meister and weapons are around but just more rare? So it’s less likely for other people to start fighting too.

Although the more I think about it, the more I’m torn on some decisions. Like, should the turtles transform into their designated weapon or should their weapon form depend on who’s wielding them? (Raph would transform into katanas for Leo, but would change into a Bo staff for Donnie) idk decision-making is hard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now that I’m thinking about it, how would that work in terms of character design??

A rat king, in real life, is a bunch of rats that got their tails stuck together in one big knot. So would all of the rats have to be mutated? How would it look if it was just one of the rats that got mutated? Would the rest just still be normal rats that are looped around its tail? Or would they have been detached from the mutated rat due to it enlarging?
