Introduction

Hello, I'm Lavish! I'm 24 and use he/hem/hemd pronouns, and I like to write silly little stories - although finishing them is a completely different story - and I like to rant about the media that I adore. I'm in multiple fandoms, such as Teen Wolf, Hunger Games, Derry Girls, Bridgerton, Degrassi: Next Gen/Next Class, Merlin, Dimension 20, Legends of Avantris, and lots lots more.

I can't believe how much of an idiot I am to not realize that Dawn straight up tells them what happened to Maddie in the "Seance Anything" episode.

This goes back directly to the fact that Dawn is just used as a very convenient tool to progress the story line.

In the episode she warns against hypnosis because it can lead to a ghost taking over your body. (This, also, very sadly means that her friend is haunting the concert grounds of the Jethro Tull concert and a ghost stole her body). She is telling them that ghost can take over human bodies. She's telling us the ending before it arrives.

Like, hello!!!

Dawn has the answer for everything. She is literally too powerful of a character, no wonder they booted her.

Alright someone who has watched school spirits season three, is it actually worth watching or should I not waste my time? I watched the first episode and hated it, and I just don't know if it's worth it or not.

Personally, I think school spirits season three should start with Simon viciously attacking Mr. Martin.

I'm hoping all the likes I'm getting after the release of the first episode of season three does in fact mean Simon beats Mr. Martin to a pulp. I'm holding out hope for it.

I am so totally sane about the first season of school spirits that for Christmas I asked for the book that was in the background of the library shot when Rhonda and that alive kid share a drink. You know the one, where Maddie asks about Dawn and they say "she's a literal dead end," "more like a cul-de-sac."

A book about running from your ghost and forgetting who you are.

While I was reading this book, I thought perhaps it's appearance on screen wasn't quite as deep as I first thought. Until it finally clicked; this is a story about wanting to escape, but ultimately becoming trapped in the past. Unable to free themselves from their ghosts (their scars). They dream of going to far away places to be free of their overbearing family (sound familiar), but unexpectedly, they become trapped and all of their dreams fall apart. It's an endless, vicious cycle (inevitably controlled by one man) that cares little for the lives it ruins.

The author herself preferences that the story is based off of greek mythology. And I would have more to say if I actually knew anything about Greek mythology, however, I don't even know where to start with the topic :/

But yes, the story is intrinsically ingrained into the story of school spirits, because they echo of the same fate.

A good book, definitely read if you get the chance!

2026 Resolutions

Okie, I know it's already four days into the year, so I'm late, but I think I've decided some resolutions for the year.

Finally hit my 1,000,000 word creative writing count aka publish to ao3 fanfics (currently only 54,775 words away)

Focus on obtaining more physical media

Send less time on my phone

Write more (much more)

Do things out of pure enjoyment and love

Focus on bettering my mental health

Expand my knowledge on the english language

Read more (lots more)

And finally, focus on my studies and finishing my masters degree

Check back in in December and see how far I come.

Mean ao3 spam comments fucking suck when that's the only engagement you get and your already struggling with your mental health. I just think it's time I give up, I can't deal with this bullshit anymore, I'm so sorry. I can't find joy through all the bullshit hate.

Mkay, I lied!!!

I'm a weak, weak man who enjoys writing. I will just not allow guest comments for the time being. I'm thinking that guest comments won't be allowed for like the first week of any of my fics publication to allow for enough time to pass to not get those annoying and sometimes hurtful spam/scam comments. I don't want to punish all guests just because of a few bad actors. But I'm not too sure, I'll definitely think on it some.

Anyway... swarmed with ideas suddenly, we'll see if there is follow through.
