Can’t help but cry. The course of the Levant is changing and I can only watch helplessly through the screen of my phone 💔

While Israel's leaders send orders to incinerate refugee camps and obliterate hospitals from the air, the resistance fight and die with their comrades on the front line, defending Gaza and their homes against the fascist onslaught. There is more dignity in their struggle than in every moralising politician and vapid commentator the West spews on us. From them grows a freedom that will not be destroyed.

Being from the Levant is the greatest honour

They took so much from all of us yet we are still here

They will never succeed in erasing us no matter how hard they try and how much devastation they leave behind them

And no matter how hard they try to emulate our culture, our food, our love for life, our love for our land they will never be successful they will always be a cheap mockery
