Last Book: Ichi the Killer Vol. 2, it has me chewing on the bars of my enclosure for Vol. 3 in February

Last Song: Intermission by Blur, as I was telling @katagogo it’s what I imagine the tone of Ch3 of her Saejima fic is probably shaping up to be

Last Movie: Strange Days (Kathryn Bigelow, 1995) Cyberpunk New Year’s flick that maybe seven people watched when it came out in ‘95, but those people went on to make basically every piece of sci-fi media of the 2000’s, so there are shades of us all around us.

Last Series: been working through the original 1984 Fist of the North Star series. Frankly staggering to see how much it influenced basically everything that came after it.

Salty or sweet: salty

Coffee or Tea: tea if I’m making it myself, coffee if I’m paying someone else to make it for me. I always feel kind of dumb going to a cafe and paying money for them to put a little tea bag identical to the ones I have at home in a cup of hot water.

Working on: freelance storyboards, the next chapter of pipeburn, a comic pitch, a shorts pitch, like half a dozen other pitches, a little Saemaji fic, finding a job that will give me back my healthcare again.

Last Book: Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin (suprisingly, not my favorite work of his! the perception of queer sex being so different between the american and the italian was interesting, it's a great book but I think the beginning could have been better haha! )
