I’m old enough to remember an earlier internet, and an earlier YouTube with way less ads, and I just feel like mentioning how it’s kinda scummy how YouTube mobile is constantly moving the skip ad button, like if I’m doing something on my computer and an ad plays on whatever I’m listening to on my phone, I used to be able to skip it without looking because it was always in the same place. Chronically online and whatever.

But also the skip button isn’t even in the same place for the entirety of the same ad? Like it moves to include a different button for the ad sometimes so you tap that instead of the skip? It’s also been said before but the double unskippable ads piss me off, especially when they’re about anything AI.

Sigh.
