Jess’s Guide to Starting a Fitting Room ✨
Okay so I think we’ve all been there… you’re trying to lift and have a couple things strategically held in your hands to make it look like you have less than you do, and an SA comes up and asks if you want her to start a fitting room. So irritating, right?? Well, depending on the store, this may be your ticket to getting everything you planned on lifting and more.
First off, as soon as someone asks you if you want them to start a room for you, say yes and thank them, then give them what you’re holding. Don’t act weird about it, tell them you’re going to keep browsing. Stores that do this are often pretty dedicated to customer service, so chat them up. Tell them you’re trying on different things to see what you want for Christmas/your birthday. It helps to go to the store beforehand to see if they count or ask for your name, if there’s cams, whatever. Never give them your real name, if you buy something pay in cash.
Keep shopping, pull a bunch of random things carefully paired with things you’ll lift. Pro tip: if you want something brightly colored, patterned, or otherwise noticeable, pick it up in several sizes. Every once and a while ask them to take the stuff to your room.
Now, make your final collection. I like to get something bulky, typically in black, and tuck what I’m going to lift around it. If someone comes up again and offers to take that stuff to your room, politely decline and tell them you’re headed there now. Work quick grabbing the rest of what you want, then get to that room.
Mit should be a mess of random things you picked out. Locate what you intend to lift. When someone comes to check on you, ask for a couple things in different sizes. Ask for suggestions that are like “hey do you have any other button up skirts like this in a different material?” Or “Do you have any other colors of this bra?” Get them confused about what you’ve brought into the room.
Conceal everything how you prefer, though I recommend on body because that’s what I’m all about dude. Try and slip out when nobody’s around. Put some stuff on the return rack and leave some in the room. Make a clean getaway.
Congratulations, have fun with all your cute shit. This may not work for every store but I know it does in places like Lululemon and Altar’d State. Prosper, my lil thieves ✨🎁
^this is real good
I want so much shit from Altar’d state and I’d never seen any advice on it so thank you sm!!!!
Listen my altar’d is so??? Easy??? Pull this method and you’ll be fine, the hardest part is I always feel a little bad bc they SAs are so friendly and chatty
🌸 Tips for winter!
So I decided to make a post about some little tips I use for winter! Feel free to try your own or whatever but this is what works for me. WITH PICTURES (some)

ok so alottttt of you ask how I do my “scarf trick” and it’s so hard to explain unless I actually show you.. so here we are
straight forward af, first
tuck the scarf under your arm your holding your bag so it completely covers your bag
select two of the same item (not as obviously as I did in the video clearly)
put them both behind your phone, pass one to your hand sort of through your scarf and slide it in your bag
pretend to read the other item decide you “don’t want it” and put it back which is literally all that looks like on camera and they can’t see you conceal behind the scarf I think it’s pretty fool proof I don’t go lifting without wearing one!
hope this helps X
@letsgolifting this is great, and you’re so good at it :0 thanks for the tip!
Lift #7
Discovered a new technique that is fool proof at Victoria’s Secret and PINK! :) biggest lift so far!
Target: Grey top: 9.99
Ardene: Shorts: $17.50 Bra: $14.50
Pink: Fanny pack 😍: 14.95 Undies x 12: $126 Blue sports bra: $59.50 Yellow sports bra: $39.95 Orange sports bra: $54.50 Teal sports bra: $27.95 Blue sports bra: $39.95 Black sports bra: 22.95
Total savings: $427.50
What’s the technique?? 💯💯💯💯
At my VS/Pink (they’re attached) I get a shopper’s bag (the Pink one not the VS one because it has more solid colours at the bottom) and go around filling it up with everything that I want (undies, headbands, sports bras, bikinis - anything without a tag- which surprisingly there was a lot of!) and then i fill the rest of the bag with sweaters/leggings/ and more bulky things to cover what i have at the bottom. Then I go to the change room were they usually don’t count- ESPECIALLY if you’re super friendly and ask how their day’s been!!
(I always ask “Can I use my PINK gift card in the VS section too?” just to show them I’ll “actually” buy something, while waving around an empty card I stole awhile ago and wrote “$250 - Happy Birthday, love you!” or something on it.
Then I fill up my own bags (my purse and also a Lululemon shopping bag because they’re sold and button closed at the top) with everything that doesn’t have tags on (double checking every last item) and then give back half and keep half. Sometime I even ask “where do you recommend me to get these leggings hemmed? They’re a bit long for me!” Then I just saunter out the door :) and usually have a stupid smile on my face because of how excited I am to get such a big haul! haha
Hope this helps! If you have any questions feel free to ask!
You: shoplifting blogs are the worst! They’re ruining tumblr!! Me, an intellectual: actually I’d probably say the thousands of nazis, pedophiles, meth/heroin blogs, pro anorexia and bulemia blogs, and the blogs made by adults to “call out” children are ruining tumblr
There are three rules.
1. If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it.
2. If you do not ask, the answer will always be no.
3. If you do not step forward, you will remain in the same place.
An Ode to Fuckboys.......
They want your number They want you to be like her They want you to “be yourself” They want you to be all natural They want long wavy hair fat asses big breasts small waists big hips flat stomachs
They are flat broke. They will try to break you.
They want you to be respectable They don’t respect you They want you to fight for them They won’t die for you They want you wipe them off after they nut They won’t wipe your tears They want you to hold them down They won’t hold you until the pain stops They want breakfast in the morning They won’t buy the eggs They want you to have their backs They won’t massage yours
They will make you tense.
They want to see you when they’re free They won’t make time They want a lady They want a freak They want an intellectual They want you to be dumb They like ‘em “crazy” but not too “crazy” They’re “not looking for anything serious” They want to fuck.
They won’t pick up when you call They want to know “wyd” They contradict themselves.
They don’t They won’t They never really cared.
They can kiss my ass.
The drop technique and my quick concealing method shown.
Drop technique notes: 1. Use a bag with a shoulder strap so you don’t have to think about where the handles are. You do not want to worry about getting your product tangled up in them. Another benefit of a shoulder strap bag is that there is no gap between the bag and your body (that the product could fall through). 2. Use a structured bag, so that if your product hits one of the sides (as my peanut butter & honey palette did!!), it falls inside anyway! Floppy purses are bad for this because your product can become unbalanced on the cloth if it hits the side, and end up on the floor. Cloth is just one more thing for the product to become tangled in. 3. See how the inside-tops of each side of my purse are angled slightly inward (toward the zipper)? These are your bumpers, babes. Like rails in Mario kart, these guide your product into the bag, so you don’t have to think about it at all. 4. I usually do something with my hand while doing this, as an excuse to move my arm and drop the product. Because I don’t touch my purse, it was clearly “just an accident” if I were to be caught. 5. Once this is done, immediately zip up your purse. Preferably do the concealment and zipping in a blindspot, or the closest thing to a blindspot as you can find. Also a great tip: walk into the store with your phone in a pocket. After dropping, place your phone into your purse and zip it up *without looking* at it.
Light speed conceal technique notes: 1. Hold the product in the hand on the opposite side of your body from your purse. Here, my purse is on my left and the product is in my right hand. I conceal it with my right hand. First, my left arm provides a little bit of cover. Second, it’s just a lot less obvious to me to have my right arm crossing in front of my body than it would be if I were bending my left arm to put the product in. I also like to use my left hand to hold my purse open if it’s a really big item (like I’m doing here; if it’s not a large item, I don’t do this). Third, it’s just a lot harder to do with the arm that’s next to the purse, IMO. Try both out, see what works best for you, and do so in front of a mirror. Practice, practice, practice. 2. Use only in what you are 200% sure is a blindspot. Also great for stores with no cams. 3. Use in clothing stores that count going into dressing rooms (conceal before you go in and detag in the dressing room). Again, be wary of cams. 4. Don’t do this with people around! Very advanced lifters probably are already using this technique to crowd conceal, but if you aren’t very advanced don’t do this anywhere near other people or only try it with *extreme* caution. Practice at home first!! For me, I often use my partner’s body to block others’ view of the side that my purse is on. Using a support beam, wall, or display on that side can also be helpful. I sometimes do it when I’m in a busy store and I’m 200% sure there is no one behind me and maybe one or two people in front of me, both facing away from me. The only reason I do it in these situations is because I’m also 200% sure I can conceal the item in less than 2 seconds (as shown here). If someone did turn to look at me after I’ve started to conceal, worst case scenario is that they see me with my hand in my purse. I’m pretty quick. 5. I often use this technique in makeup stores while holding 2 items. I only want to conceal one and the other is my decoy, which I hold on top of the thing I want. Then I cross my right arm over my body and pretend to look closer at something on a shelf (maybe reach out and grab something with my left hand and look at it), and only shove/drop one item in my purse. Then I’m still holding my decoy which I put somewhere random before leaving. It’s less sus in stores crowded with SAs. 6. Never ever EVER: do this in front of a camera, in front of another person, or on the floor in a store with very active and vigilant LP! Don’t do it! This method is CLEARLY intentional, unlike the drop technique. I have no cover or excuse for this if I get caught and neither do you. This is my favorite and most used technique, but it’s risky. Again, I only recommend this for the experienced and the entirely un-sus. I had a lot of experience before I ever tried concealing on the floor like this. Please be careful.

As always, my partner was a huge help! @niftylifter ~~ NOW LET ME JUST TELL YOU how sketched out I was at Urban. After I had detagged and concealed the mobile printer and the instax, I heard someone over some random SA’s walkie-talkie saying “Can you check if there’s two cameras—” and that was my cue to get the fuck out. All in all, this is one of my favorite hauls :)
ignore my pajama pants. this is usually my go to method for lifting one thing. I pick up a couple of other things along with what i want to lift and act like my hands are fully so i hold it with my forearm against my body then just drop it in. if anyone asks i’ll just say i didn’t mean to and say my hands were too full to hold it (:
Be good to yourself
Just a list of things I’ve lifted for myself that has benefitted my mental/emotion health and makes me happy!
-chocolate. Hershey’s is fine but those higher end caramel chocolates are my Crack 🍬🍬
-oil diffuser and essential oils. Make your room smell like pumpkins or vanilla or whatever floats your boat. But also get some of the oil designed for relaxation and sleep. Personally I don’t love the smell of the relaxation one so I mix it with cinnamon scented oil. I sleep like a baby and my room is a sanctuary 😇😇
-quality bras and underwear. No matter your body type, cheap intimates can make a girl uncomfortable and miserable. Even if nobody else sees em, just knowing your bra and undies match can give you feel powerful as heck, like the princess/queen you are! (Plus ill fitting or poorly designed bras are bad for your spine, and undies made from certain materials are bad for your coochie!)👙👙
-comfy lounge-wear. Whether it’s cute PJs or a satin bathrobe, you can be comfy and look Hella at the same time. And frankly, if I look good, I feel good.👑👑
-stuff for your room. Make your bedroom/house your safe haven! Get command hooks and hang pretty stuff on the wall. Get Lil glass trinkets to put on your shelves. Pretty space = happy place! 🛏🛏
- a journal. Writing things down is therapeutic in so many ways. Write letters to people and burn them to get feelings off your chest without the conflict. If you need to remember something, just the act of writing it down helps you remember. A journal/diary can be your own Lil therapist/assistant, ect. 📖📖
💋That’s all that comes to mind right now, but please add anything that makes you a Generally happier person and recommend others getting/lifting!💋 -Makeup and clothes are great, and are an awesome way to doll yourself up and express yourself but those things are sort of a given, these are just some things you might not know you’re missing out on since clothes are makeup are the focus of basically every haul
love this x
Stoned outting haul Not ft another pair of headphones 😂
Sephora: How-to
Someone recently asked me how I get my hauls from Sephora since they’re pretty big in size so I’ve decided to post my updated how-to!
PREP: Before I go into the mall I make sure I have a jacket, different store bag from another store in the mall with a shirt or something in it to look less sus, and look semi nice.
INSIDE: Walk into the mall with your other store bag and your purse on your arm. Just hold your jacket. I walk into Sephora and am usually greeted by an employee. Smile and say “I’m just looking today, thanks” if asked if they can help you. You belong here! You know what you’re doing! Grab a store bag to put what you want in it. I just casually look around with my phone out scrolling through the Sephora app with my list of what I want on it. Don’t spastically move around to a million different aisles. Organize yourself and try not to have to go to the same aisle for more than a couple times. This will cut your time and look like you’re just looking at stuff and wasting time. Also, make sure to check for tags on your products when you first pick them up! If they have a tag, take it off and put it on another product you aren’t taking. When you pick the products you first want up, make sure to look legit interested! Check the price, read the product info, etc.
After I find the products I want and have them in the Sephora bag I find my blind spot. I know where the blind spots are in the Sephora’s I go to, so just find yours or make your own. Watch out for employees and customers! Casually slip the product from the Sephora bag into your other store bag. Do not look around quickly and throw products into the bag. This is the definition of sus and you will get caught. I usually slip more than one product into the bag at a time, like a couple palettes at once or a few lip products at once. Make sure it’s quiet and doesn’t bang around, is not sus, etc. When I’m done I throw my jacket into the bag on top of the products and pretend to answer my phone. I talk like I’m talking to my mom or something. Blah blah, I’m in Sephora, I’m leaving now, blah blah. Put your Sephora bag back with the others and carry on the conversation out the door. If you beep don’t turn around, just go! You’re too busy talking on the phone to notice that the beeper accidentally went off anyway right? Sephora is usually the last store I go to in the mall since I lift so much there so once I’m out of the store I head to the car and gtfo.
AFTER: Leave the store/mall and get to the car. I don’t open anything or mess with anything until I’m away from the mall. If I want a piece of gum from my purse I will get that piece of gum when I’m on the road. I am not going to waste any time on that mall property. Also, I usually won’t come back to that mall/store for another couple months so that’s a plus.
And that’s pretty much it! :) I included everything I could think of at the moment so I hope this is helpful! If you have any questions, just message me and I’m happy to help. Good luck and stay safe ❤️
