Apple Watch Update - 4 hours since activation. Design: 5/5. Utility: 2/5. Honestly, the watch seems to be able to do many things but none of them incredibly well (except perhaps to quickly respond to texts). Siri, not surprisingly, disappoints. It can’t hear very effectively in a high-ambient noise environment and the accuracy rate is low. The watch has to be activated to view the time (the wrist tilt activation only kind of works). Calling from your phone is kind of dick-tracy but I found myself speaking loudly into my wrist (super strange). Photos are too small. UI is pretty good but apps are slow. It really is a beautiful and cool device but in almost every case I find it easier to just use my phone. We’ll see how it goes for the rest of the week!
