Adam heaved a heavy sigh as he stood, his feet just inside the grand doors of the palace. The name of the place always seemed to slip his mind, along with the date of which he’d been meant to arrive. Oops. Though annoyed with the fact that he had to even be there - a reality show, of all things - the lively Greek had found himself curious. The sweeping architecture of the building was far different than his home on the coast; more straight lines and elegant details. More…feminine. Beautiful, yes, but not the ancient look of his childhood. Adam swung his jacket over his shoulder, dark eyes sweeping the room slowly as he crossed to the stair case, his steps almost lazy.
“I see I am late, no? Ntropí…I have missed the party. Big shame. Very big,” He said to no one in particular, his English thick with the shadow of his native tongue. Snickering under his breath, a grin pulled at the seam of his lips. What a trip this will be.
Lailani finished wandering throughout the palace and still couldn’t believe how breathtaking it was. She smiled politely at the faces she was beginning to recognize as she passed them. Although it was was beautiful here, she recognized the feeling of homesickness growing in prominence.
She stopped when she heard a voice and turned her head to the source. Her lips formed a different smile when she recognized the boy. “At least here, you can blame the change in timezones for your tardiness.” There was a brief pause as she tried to find something else to say. “How have you been?”

lailani: but i've never seen bad girls club
it’s well past midnight, the majority of russia along with the setting sun has long since succumbed to the temptation of sleep - even a vast chunk of the russian night life already winding down for the night - when sebastian returns to the warmth of catherine palace. he’s rumpled beyond recognition; his button down creased and missing nearly half its buttons, hangs off his shoulders and his hair is mused to the point where it’s sticking up in several directions. he takes the moment of peace to calm his rapid breathing, peeking out the window to ensure he lost the hoard of girls. the absence of screams is surely a good sign. “oh shi–” the sound of approaching footsteps has him spinning around. clearly he’s not the only one still awake. “uh, buenas noches.” he offers, a sheepish smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
roughly two hours after the idea comes to her, lailani finishes unpacking the last of her bags. to congratulate herself she tries her hand at recreating her mom’s recipe for pork adobo. she smiles to herself as she takes her plate of unburned food out of the kitchen. the stairs are in sight when she hears the voice of someone else which causes her to jump. “akala ko -” she stops when she realizes it’s not her mother about to scold her for trying to eat in a room other than a kitchen. “lo siento, buenas n- que pasa?! do you need me to get you anything?”
