the people in the farm were his own responsibility, come what may – no matter what anyone said, edgar did try to create a place fit for any and all kinds of people, especially those who had been previously lost, struggling to find their way in the world. they could find their home there, much like he had found his in a farm, many, many years ago. much like kevin, of course. one of the very first addictions to the farm, he had never disappointed, not even now. squeezing his shoulder, edgar nodded proudly, smiling a little bit. “that’s fantastic, kevin. i always knew you were meant for great things, once you left your past behind. it’s good to see that’s finally coming true.” and as he predicted, the other said yes. “i’m glad to hear that. this is not riverdale, i’ll admit, but it’s a good town. one where our work can continue.”
some of his last memories of riverdale included his time at the farm. he couldn’t remember anything bad about it. he remembered it being a safe place for him. but he also didn’t know who else from the farm had ended up in the new town. "great things? oh, i don’t know if i would go that far.. but it means a lot for you to say that,” he nodded. “has there been any interest in the farm here?”
